I think someone joked around that it was a fake (or the real depending on how you want to look at it) Undertaker. Im rooting for it to be Stevie Ray being brough back from the dead (ie not been on TV in forever and never on WWE shows)

I was expecting about twice as worse. She just got fat. I was expecting it to look like she had got hit by a train or something.

Booker T should get stuck with the GI BRO gimmick again in WWE's continuing efforts to suck up to the military.

I got about 5 seconds of time on the last Thunder of 1999 (forever remembered as the one where Goldberg punches the limo window out and screws up his arm)as they panned around my section while they put ads on the screen. I found the tape. Brings back memories. Bret Hart vs Chris Benoit even though it wasnt that good of a match. Oh yeah, and Daffney/David Flair driving up to the gas station right down the road from me and running into Crowbar was hilarious to me. Im the one circled (duh) in the nWo Wolfpac shirt waving my hands up like a dumbass. I had hair 5 years ago (gasp!)

I never noticed a location before, but I've always known I was #47

So with E3 next week, its probably as good a time as ever to start this thread and get the hype going. The most recent list I can find on what games that should be shown (From IGN) although not all since there are always a few surprises. Not much for the Gamecube But Nintendo is supposed to have some sort of huge surprise which could make up for the lack of games. My top 5 1) Wind Waker 2 2) Metroid Prime 2: Echoes 3A) Nintendo's Surprise??? 3B) Star Fox 2 4) The Sims 2 (although I doubt my computer will have enough umph to run it) 5) Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 On the Radar Nintendo DS (Im interested slightly but Im not in the market anytime soon for a handheld) WWE Day of Reckoning Madden 2005 Geist RE 4 Killer 7 The Movies (Its The Sims meets a Movie Studio if I remember correctly)

"Its easy to talk about, its easy to sum it up when you just talk about practice. We sittin' in here, I'm supposed to be the franchise player, and we in here talkin' about practice. I mean listen, we talkin bout practice. Not a game, not a game, not a game. We talkin bout practice. Not a game, not a, not a, not the game that I go out there and die for, and play every game like its my last. Not the game. We talkin' bout practice, man. I mean how silly is that? We talkin' bout practice. I know I'm supposed to be there, I know I'm supposed to lead by example. I know that, and I'm not shovin' it aside, you know, like it don't mean anything. I know its important, I do. I honestly do. But we talkin' bout practice, man. What are we talkin' bout? Practice? We talkin' bout practice man. We talk... We talkin' bout practice. We talkin' bout practice. We ain't talkin' bout the game, we talkin' bout practice, man. When you come into the arena, and you see me play, you see me play, don't you? You see me give everything I got, right? But we talkin' bout practice right now. We talkin' bout practice. (laughing) Man look, I hear you, its funny to me too. I mean, its strange, its strange to me too. But we talkin' bout practice man. We not even talkin' bout the game, the actual game, when it matters. We talkin' bout practice." -Allen Iverson

Would you meet someone from the board in person?
MarvinisaLunatic replied to a topic in No Holds Barred
The funniest thing about this is I was in Charleston SC for 2 years and I left at the end of February 2002 (right after the nWo doing No Way Out, and I was at the Smackdown where Vince had the nWo logo on the chair). Kotz joined up here in March.. -
The Sega 2K series must be a bit slower than Madden overall, as I have 2k3 and it played much slower than Madden 2002. I got a new baseball game last year as I hadn't had a new baseball game in forever. And since I have a Gamecube, my only football option is Madden so I'll probably be getting Madden 2005.

He might as well quit now. I cant see Smackdown getting better in 3 weeks.

The One And Only Friends Series Finale Thread...
MarvinisaLunatic replied to a topic in Television & Film
I thought about auctioning off the Friends cookbook someone gave me for Christmas about 5 years ago but then I realized that you can probably find it at the dollar store or something. Needless to say, I've never seen an episode of Friends and will keep it that way. -
I really want to go to Norfolk to see GAB but I've been having 2nd thoughts. And anyway, it should be in Baltimore.

The REAL Backlash buyrate:WWE press release
MarvinisaLunatic replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
If Judgment Day gets 100,000 I will be surprised. -
A) I don't think that Jamal will miss anytime. A big fine probably but no suspension. B) They tried to adress their crappy WRs but it backfired (See the crybaby that wanted to play in Philly). They still got Kevin Johnson although they lost Marcus Robinson. They drafted a couple of nice WR that probably won't do much this year but may step up in subsequent years. 2 WR..er..a WR (Johnson) and a TE (Heap) should be enough. Maybe Travis Taylor will step up and stop droping passes. C) The Defense is still there.

Canadians I have a question for you
MarvinisaLunatic replied to razazteca's topic in No Holds Barred
Unlike Alton Brown, I actually went to a Culinary Arts college. I don't know if thats a good thing or not... -
I technically get it Thursday morning (after midnight). Im special, although not in a Eugene way of course.. Anyway, the how has it been handled in the past question is interesting since very few people actually participate in the Smackdown thread so Im assuming that no one has really cared about it that much.

Im trying to go to the Smackdown PPV in Norfolk in june.. I cant imagine that will be 1/2 as good as Bad Blood though.

Canadian bacon: A leaner alternative to regular bacon, Canadian bacon is smoked and cured pork loin. (In Canada and Great Britain, it is called back bacon.) It's used in much the same way as bacon, though it resembles ham in appearance and taste. Three and a half ounces of this meat will supply 185 calories, 41% of them coming from fat. It comes from the Canadian Back Pork Loin Primal cut which is located in the area number 2 in the chart below, which is then cured and smoked. *took a meat cutting class* -
I'm close to giving up on WWE forever...
MarvinisaLunatic replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
I dont see how people managed to get through the majority of 2002 and most of 2003 and decide now to "give up" on the WWE when, for the sake of this argument, the entire WWE is much better than it was during that period. Granted Smackdown isn't that great right now but RAW is the best its been since the split. -
So by that thinking I could start the Smackdown thread in 3 hours because its on TV for me and its everyone elses fault that they don't have a big satelite dish to watch it with me? COOL. Of course, I'm not gonna do that. I'll continue to post my thoughts of the show in the spoiler thread.

Rob Neyer from ESPN suggested they put him in the leadoff spot, but like I said when I mentioned it, I figure he'll still get walked where ever he bats as long as the people behind him hit into double plays and can't do anything at the plate with runner(s) on base.
