I don't know where you all are coming from with the Wendy's love. A - Their french fries are by far the worst of any fast food chain that I've been to. Id say 80% of the time they are either cold or not fully cooked. The last time I went to Wendys which was last year, they were cold and they weren't even salted. It came with a measly salt packet inside (which was greasy with fat off the fries and thus unusable anyway), almost at the bottom of the fries, which I only discovered after eating a few and dumping them out. Anyone who knows anything about french fries knows they HAVE to be salted when they are HOT or else its just not good. B - Their prices are pretty much rediculous. Its just a freaking hamburger. They used to be the most expensive place for burgers here, but now Hardees has them beat in the Expensive category with their "Angus Beef 1/3 1/2 2/3 lb thick burgers". And quite honestly, they are better than Wendy's, but I could buy 1lb of hamburger and a package of 4 rolls and make 4 hamburgers for the price of 1 burger from Wendy's/Hardees. I guess thats just me. C - A bit before they launched their "Salads in a bowl" for $4, they took out the salad bar. You used to (at least here) be able to get an all you could eat salad off their salad bar for $2.99. Granted, the upkeep was never that great, but I would always check it first and if it looked good and fresh, Id order that and a soda and make probably 2 trips to the bar for more salad. Plus it was great if you wanted more lettuce/tomato or stuff on your burger, and the cheese was great for the chili. The Only thing good about Wendys is the fact that you (and I haven't been there in a while so I don't know if this is how it still is) could get a biggie soda for .99 when most other places charge a lot more than that. Plus it was self serve so it wasn't all ice (Self Serve, I never use ice because the mix/water is cold enough as it is). Im sure if Mcdonalds does something like this, other places will follow suit eventually. Its probably more influenced by making you pay the same ammount for less than anything to do with "peoples health" and "people wanting to eat healthier". McDonalds has cleaned its image up a bit, but I still don't think people associate the term "healthy" with Mcdonalds food. Arby's has the best fries (either the curly or regular). I rank McDonalds and Burger King about the same and Wendy's comes in last behind the potato wedges from KFC and Hardee's french fries.

Are the tickets for a specific seat? If they are and you remember the seat number/section etc, you could call the venue and ask them to check the 2 seats at some point in time. Give them the name/id of the person who bought them. 3 Situations could happen if they do check them: 1) Seats are empty. Either the tickets were lost or never delivered. Give a refund. 2) Seats have people who bought them, but were claiming never to have gotten them, no refund and you post negative feedback. 3) Seats have persons other than buyer in them, tickets were stolen, you'll still have to give refund but you could probably get your money back.

The Ace Ventura reference is noted. Now, I have about 18 hours between the time I finish watching smackdown and the time Smackdown ends officially on the East Coast. Damnit, I could write a review of Smackdown each week and it wouldnt even come close to what Dean manages to come out with in probably a bit over 2 hours.

And even more boring for the poor sap that took them in the mock draft that we are doing. Marvin is free to pick a new team... I can just slack off and pick some schmoe for the what, the 85th pick? and about Boller: Boller will end up being worth this years first round pick (which is #21). I doubt there would have been anyone at #21 that would have made as much of an impact as Boller did last year (started and played, uh, well..or well for a Ravens QB). Plus, if the Ravens had a first round pick, the 49ers probably would have wanted that instead of the second round pick they got for Owens. The Ravens normally have very good drafts, but this year is going to be thin with the lack of draft picks. But getting Owens and Boller for this years first and second round picks seems good to me. With the games Boller got in last year, it puts him at an advantage over say, Carson Palmer who will be starting for the Bengals but hadn't started a game yet in the NFL.

He doesnt need to be a #1 now that they have Shawn Springs. I guess trading Champ Bailey for Portis and signing Shawn Springs is good for the Redskins..

I'm not surprised. A K rate of less than 4.5 per 9 innings, a mediocre K/BB rate, and being 31 (well, as of tomorrow) spells regression. Plus 34 HR in 212 IP (In SafeCo!) is a big red flag. I looked at his splits. I saw the 34 HR (22 in Safeco) but Home Runs allowed isn't a stat and ERA/WHIP/Wins are ( 3.53/1.27/11). Plus, his stats were much better down the stretch, which is a good sign in most cases.

I was surprised to see Ryan Franklin still available the other day when I picked him up. I doubt he'll turn in another top 10 ERA performance like last year but his WHIP will be low and he should win 12 games at least. I have to many ? at most positions. Im safe in the OF and 1/2 of my RP but thats about it.

I'll just add that next weeks TV Guide has Eddy/Angle on one cover and HHH/HBK/Benoit on the other and an article about Wrestlemania in it.

Part of the article: Rest of the article I think I know how this is going to go, but I figured instead of just posting an article about how stupid Bill Gates is, that Id post this poll. I figured it wouldn't be long before someone would want to stick postage on email and make you pay for it. I figured it would be done by the Government/Postal Service. Having to pay for email would cripple email more than the spam does now. I can easily ignore the spam, delete it, filter it better. And the funny thing is, I still get a ton of junk mail in my real mailbox even though people have to pay to send mail (and thats even more expensive if you consider the cost of the paper/envelope and postage). People are still going to send spam even if they have to pay a penny per email. They probably won't send out a billion spam messages to random people, but they'll still send out a lot even if they have to pay to do it. All this will do is cause more people to use IMs instead of emails (like a lot of people do now anyway). Of course, wait a while and there will be "postage" on IM messages as well.

There wont be any trade of Hairston/Roberts by the Orioles now that Hairston broke his ring finger stealing 3rd in a ST game today and is out 6-8 weeks. The Os still managed to win 6-5, Tejada hit a HR..

Whoever has Jerry Hairston should know he has a broken ring finger that will need surgery (happened when he stole 3rd in the first minor league game today vs the Marlins). Don't know how long hes out but from what I've heard its a 6-8 weeks thing which would mean hed be out most of April.

I hadnt heard what the Ravens were giving up for Owens but if its only a 2nd round pick, then thats great, as I had heard they were going to have to offer Ed Hartwell. I would really hope with the Ravens cap room that they renegotiate that contract to keep him in Baltimore longer than 3 years. And this is pretty cool since the Orioles got Tejada from Oakland and The Ravens got Owens from SF. Baltimore raids the Bay Area yet again! Having Owens will defitely free up the offense a ton. Boller can throw the ball, the recievers were the ones that were often letting him down by dropping catches all the time (looking at you Travis Taylor). They probably won't keep Marcus Robinson (hes become a top Free Agent WR now) but Im kinda hoping they do since the Ravens dont really have a good #2 WR and now teams will double team Owens. But at least they wont be able to stick 8 men up to stop Jamal Lewis (or whoever its gonna be) all the time.

One of the best things I liked about RE was the music, and its awfully hard to believe that I could like something that Marilyn Manson was involved with. The whole talk about Zombies reminded me that RE 4 for the Gamecube wont have Zombies at all, but it looks awesome.

The only thing bad about AOD is the not-so-special effects. I had seen the first two several times but it took me til about 3 years ago to see AOD. If anything I got a few laughs out of the effects, which really didn't degrade well at all. I still like Evil Dead over Evil Dead 2 and AOD but I don't have any DVDs.

RVD would be better on Smackdown. I'd think he would actually have a chance at winning the title on Smackdown as opposed to always being about #132 on the list on RAW.
