A ticket in the same section for a regular season game directly through the Ravens costs $115, and on Stubhub its much more for such prime seats durring the regular season. Stubhub had some $9 tickets all the way up at the top of the stadium for the preseason games, but I didnt want to be sitting that high up. As it is, $50 for 50 yard line 9 rows back is a good deal to me even though its a preseason game, considering its my first football game EVER (I never even went to a HS game cause my HS team sucked really bad). and WFJF fumbles on his second play and it leads to the Pats first TD...ugh. Pats went for 2 and didnt get it so its 16-15 Ravens.

Instead of the game vs Atlanta, Im going to the game next Saturday night vs the Vikings. $50 for a ticket right on the 50 yard line (section 127, 9 rows back behind the Ravens bench) including Stubhubs rediculous $20 for Fedex Overnight even though Ive got a week to get the tickets, but at least I had a $20 coupon to knock off the shipping.

Why didnt you put Marvin^2 up to CB3 with a 17 level ranking over the two guys there with level 12 ranks? And I actually still care..oddly..even though my 2 guys are averaging about 25 plays a game and doing diddly squat..

I think they are airing just about all of the preseason games in some form, but most will be tape delayed.

Maybe by the time the Chinese people are all driving cars, they'll at least be hybrids as the standard model.

Paying almost double the price for everything doesnt help much. I paid $9 for the Taco Bell Box meal thing and it runs like $5 everywhere else. I saw Glenn Beck live in Pennsylvania. He came out with a toy gun. He talked about religion and its importance. He talked about illegal immigrants He got numerous standing ovations. People repeatedly said after seeing his tour that they would vote for him. I guess hes "encouraging" the "problem"

I don't see what's so baffling about it. The right wing in this country has just managed to use race/religion/guns/"political correctness"/whatever to essentially trick a whole bunch of people into voting against their own economic interests. It's pretty simple, really. People in small towns and rural areas, areas associated with "red states," have lost faith in the government to fix economic problems. It's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations. They vote for people based on these issues instead of their economic self-interest. Man, if only some politician were smart enough to realize this problem and talk about it. I'm sure if he did, the press would have no choice but to cover the problems facing these people instead of encouraging, and fanning the flames of, the name-calling and the knee-jerk moral indignation that's characterized this campaign so far.

We're getting Jericho/Punk here at the House Show this Sunday, which happened this past weekend at house shows as well..and is enough for me to believe thats where they're going for the PPV.

So, how'd that work out for you? It looked like Cellar wasnt gonna meet the minimum IP until the last day and only beat it by 1 IP. And the ties on both ERA and WHIP were just outright crazy (only teams to tie WHIP this year so far) when I had him beat in both categories by a wide margin only to get a piss poor start from Doug Davis..ugh

Tomorrow? After the report the Packers are now going to let Farve compete for the starting job, Rodgers should make the demand around right now. The "future" quarterback of the Packers is going to retire for good before Brett does. Only way Aaron Rodgers is starting for the Green Bay Packers is if he makes himself the starter in Madden 09. Otherwise, he's screwed. Speaking of Madden, I guess the guy on the cover isn't going to be in the game this year. I wonder if that affects the curse in any way.
