I got Joe Johnson and Raja Bell on the trade block. I dont really want to part with Johnson but I might depending on the offer.

I just saw a scary bit of info on Rodrigo Lopez. During the offseason he pitches in the Mexican League (I really don't know why the Os haven't stopped him from doing so since it adds wear to his arm). His stint in the Mexican League this year resulted in: 4.69 ERA, 31K/22BB and a .299 BAA in only 40 innings. I hope that is just some sort of fluke or something, because it doesn't look good, even if its in the Mexican League (specifically, if nothing else, the high number of walks in 40 innings).

Info On Matt Riley Drafted in the 3rd round of the 97 draft. I saw him play A Ball (Delmarva Shorebirds) back in 1998 and he looked like he had good stuff but he was erratic a lot of the time. He made 2 starts last year in Sept, going 1-0. His 2 starts were a vast improvement over his previous stint with the Os in 1999 (naturally).

The way I see it: Jerry Hairston, 2B (Roberts will get traded) Melvin Mora, 3B Miguel Tejada, SS Rafael Palmeiro, 1B Javy Lopez, C Jay Gibbons, RF Jack Cust, DH (Surhoff only has a minor league deal at this moment) Luis Matos, CF Larry Bigbie, LF Sidney Ponson, RHP Rodrigo Lopez, RHP Kurt Ainsworth, RHP Eric DuBose, LHP Matt Riley, LHP (Daal will go to the bullpen, he's a lousy starter)

First I think it would be appropriate to get that picture saved to your hard drive (right click, save as) and uploaded to a free image host. Look in the computer folder for the thread about image hosts. It might also be a good idea to resize the picture a bit smaller since that pic is a bit large. Then all you have to do is go to the signature part of your control panel and add the link to the picture and you are set.

A couple more Os notes: Greg Maddux's Agent, Scott Boras, has stated that an East Coast team has made an offer close to what they wanted (2 years 18-20 million) and its believed that the offer is either from the Mets or Orioles. Maddux wants to sign with a team out west, preferably an NL team, but his asking price has effectively priced him out of signing with a team in either (or both) situation. It is not known whether he will accept the offer but Boras has said that he expects a deal to be done by the end of the week. The Orioles have also come to a preliminary agreement with Sidney Ponson on a 3 year contract according to the Washington Post. The Orioles also signed Catcher Keith Osik. He will probably be sent to AAA, with the backup to Javy Lopez battle likely being between Geronimo Gil and Bill Haselman.

Im in to year 3 with the Ravens on 2k3. 2 SBs, both wins vs the Bucs. Biggest problem in year 3 (well, after the season) is that Chris Mcallister wants 7 million a year and I only have about 500k of cap room. Ugh.

I doubt the 3 matches on that ONE HOUR tape are in their entirety. The only match on the tape not on the DVD is vs Vader from Starcade 93. Not even worth 8 bucks today, let alone whatever it would have cost back in 1995.
