Well, all the AFC playoff spots except for the #4 AFC North have been decided. Funny that the Dolphins decide to win a few games in december and it still doesn't help them out..

Ouch at the possibility of the Broncos coming back to indy in 2 weeks. If the Colts couldn't stop em now (and without Portis) imagine how'd they fair in 2 weeks (with Portis).

When they just said that Peyton had 4 consecutive 4,000 yard seasons and Marino had 5 but not consecutive, the whole Manning = Marino comparison popped into my head. And, Jamal only needs 102 yards to outrush Barry sanders for 2nd all time in rushing yards in a season, which is a whole lot more reasonable than him geting 154 to break the record..

Im sort of torn.. On one hand you've got McNair who is hobbling around and probably one hit away from being out for the rest of the year. On the other hand you've got Peyton Manning who has never won a big game in his nfl career, and it would bring the Old Baltimore team back to Baltimore. Im sure neither team would want to go to Baltimore in the first round...but given the standings, one of them will if the Ravens make the playoffs. Of course, if the Ravens dont make the playoffs, theres probably gonna be a line for that spot to play in Cincy...

PJ Brown has done well for me in the trade, but I think I screwed my Center situation up a ton since Ostertag has done crap as of recently (only played 2 minutes for some reason tonight, is he hurt?) Why no penalty on the Colts for that dancing? The Ravens got a 15 yard penalty in a game earlier this year for almost the same exact thing.

Im sorta rooting for the Browns to beat the Bengals next week. Of course after todays shellacking by the Ravens, I doubt that will happen. If the Browns manage to pull of the upset, the Ravens/Steelers SNF game on ESPN wont be as crucial since the Ravens would have locked up the Division. If that happens I also doubt that Jamal Lewis would have a chance to break the 2,105 record for rushing yards but he probably would get enough carries in the first half to get to 2,000.

You gotta play the streaks: St. Louis had a 13 game home winning streak going. Cincinatti had a 40 game road losing streak to teams with winning records.

I honestly dont think he'll get 153 yards. He only needs 48 yards for 2000 and he'll get that. If the Ravens are ahead late by more than 2 scores, Billick will probably sit him like he did today to keep him from getting hurt so they'll have him for the playoffs.

If the Ravens win the division, they'll play one of the two wild cards. They've beaten all 3 teams in contention in the playoffs before.

Without Jamal rushing for 2000+ yards, the Ravens would probably be in last place instead of possibly winning their first ever division title. Volek came in and won a game for the Titans, so McNair isn't as valuable as you think.

I'll say this. If Jamal Lewis gets 2000 yards, he should at least be in the top 3 for MVP voting. If he somehow manages to get 153 yards next week and breaks Dickerson's record AND the Ravens make the playoffs, he is the MVP and it would be a scam if he doesnt win it.
