Who said anything about Flair moving? He not contracted to HHH. I think HHH is going to win it and move to SD, although I was thinking that they were tempting Batista joining SD b4 Mania. I cant see Cena losing the belt at Vengence. I think well see HHH move to SD to replace Angle. HHH-Booker wasnt that bad, its just that HHH has to give Booker some breathing space. I think UT and TBS are RAW destined, especially UT, to feud with Orton. Benoit has to be kept away from HHH. HHH wouldnt consider Rey to be in his league. I think they are planning on Eddie-RVD and Eddie-Benoit for the forseeable future. That leaves JBL. I think they should consider turning him face, especially since Eddie and Jericho have just turned heal. I wouldnt mind seeing RVD with Heyman vs HHH after ONS.

I would say yes, he is. Thats why he left TNA, cause he was looking towards the E.
-
Given the circumstances, Id say that you dont need to be a magician to forsee that.
-
Yes I agree, Id just prefer the idea of Hardy being the filler than Waltman. But from the looks of things its Waltman, since he was looking at the belt. Reality check Waltman, YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO THAT BELT. If its Waltman, I would say that he wont last long in the match, as Raven beats the crap out of him. Re: Shamrock, not a bad idea, given the history, but that means that TNA will miss it. Im against giving the company's gold to an outsider but to be truthful, I thought Ortiz may have a slim chance of being in the match, which they could say that Shamrock was the Champ 3 years ago, could a UFC guy be champ again today?
-
It is a bit funny. What was this guys other post? I find this line funnier though: Hillarious, and unlike the long crap post, its very true. Blame your getting banned on failing to include the HHH line. You have been warned and now, be gone. LOL.

Its Zyon. Zyon sees you. I meant it as like Cena makes fun of JBL, and then the camera pans back and they show the Rock in the background. All it would take was something like Rock saying, yeah, what he said. Then hed just say that JBL has no chance, since Cena smells like Hollywood and is going to rock the house down tonight. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And that alone is a waste of the Rock's time, but since they've been using him to put over the Diva Search, why not? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks for making my point for me. Besides, I dont like a 'wrestler' coming back for 1 night a year and taking somebodys spot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Rock however, would outdraw anyone in that "spot". That's why the WWE does it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And thats very fair now isnt it. ^o)

The first Smackdown after Raw's draft started with Kurt Angle saying that he was the new GM since former GM Paul Heyman was drafted to Raw and immediately quit. I might be wrong, but did Angle actually come out to HHH's music to fool the crowd? Anyway, he just said that he traded HHH back for the Dudleys and Booker T. In regards to how/if Cena goes back, I'd prefer he just stay where he is and have Smackdown's last pick be Batista. Batista then retains at HIAC, and both champions get some fresh challengers, except maybe a few who also get drafted. Seriously, HHH can't stay on the same show as Batista anymore. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, Angle came out to HHHs music. I think HHH will be going over to SD and that Cena should stay on SD till the end and be drafted back last. Its not a trade, its the 'luck of the draw'. HHH said it will be over. If HHH is drafted before Cena, then can you imagine HHH and JBL laying down claims for the title. HHH will have to be kept away from Benoit though. Batista needs to stay on RAW, since hes only defended vs HHH. Its stupid that SD has no Champ.

Thanks alot. So far, people not on the card are: A1 Apolo Buck Quartermain Cassidy Riley David Young Dustin Rhodes Jerrelle Clark Johnny Devine Lex Lovett Mikey Batts Phi Delta Slam Primetime Shark Boy Shocker Sonjay Dutt Trytan Zack Gowen (from the Superstars section of their website) I cant see anybody cutting it or deserving it from there. They had a guantlet last month and didnt abide by the stipulation. Besides, if there was a guantlet for the 5th spot, they should have announced it the very beginning. I still believe, given the closeness of the 4 people to the title, it should have been a Deadly Draw match. They could have stated that either Abyss or Brown would be in 2nd a week before. Then, at the start of the show draw the 3rd name, being the one not selected of Abyss and Brown. Just before the match, AJ and JJ draw for it, with AJ going in 1st and JJ grinning like a chesire cat. Last KotM was one of the best angles ever in TNA, what with the tourney, the road to the cage, the cage match, the deadly draw and the KotM. TNA managed (for once) to get everybody over and the fans considered them as legit contenders (even Harris for sake). Its just not the same this time. The buildup has been slower, rather than the explosion that was this time last year. Siaki would have to be worked on, alot, to make it. A booker should always be on the look out to elevate people to the ME. I think that Siaki, if the story was worked well, due to how he was involved with Candido, could be quite close to the title. They should have built up that he was doing it for Candido as to get the sentimental vote (a la Naturals). Could have also go with Siaki vs Naturals too. Nice to see me and Magus are on the same page. Ive just posted similar sentiments in another thread here about Raven due to: Source: www.tnawrestling.com Thank god DDP and Nash are far, far away. I think its either going to be Waltman or Hardy. Too early for Lynn and Raven. Out of those 2, who would anybody prefer? I would go for Hardy. He has more name value and has been competing in relatively biggish matches on TNA ppvs. Plus its his style of match. Also, interestingly, TNA have announced Shocker, Alex Shelley and Amazing Red to be on the card also. I dont think that they should be the 5th man since they dont really deserve it as they have been out for a while or havent done much. Your views?
-
Guess Raven isnt the 5th man then, but I guess he will be involved in match at some point (thank god).
-
I was thinking of a way to turn the folder back onto the topic of wrestling. So I thought Id write my views on who the 5th man in KotM will be. Ive kept it to those who are not yet on the Slam card (since I think that Roode and Killings could have been in with a shout). (1) RAVEN: The most deserving candidate out of all. Has been in relatively good matches for the past 3 years, putting his body on the line. His sadistic behaviour in the ring fits in well with the brutality of KotM. Just watch the first one. However, he is currently suspened and IMHO I think that this is for the best. Its an excuse to leave him out of this match. If he were to be put in, it would be pimped to the extent that Raven will do anything to win. Hes a heel which leaves AJ stranded. They seem to be building up to the Destiny angle again. I dont think TNA would rush 2 title changes. Therefore, it makes more sense to leave him so as that he takes even more drastic action. KotM has served a purpose for Raven, its got him focused on the TNA title again. (2) SEAN WALTMAN: IMO the worst guy they can go with, but most probably the guy TNA will pick after Raven. He has been someway or another remotely connected to the ME for a while and has beef with JJ, so that would even things up a bit, since the match at the moment is 3 heels (with Brown still being a heel as per the book) and AJ. Hasnt really done anything in substance to deserve a title shot. Could, and this is a big could, perform reasonably well given the speed and loseness of the match. Dont hold your breath though. (3) JEFF HARDY. The person TNA should in fact go with. Hes been wrestling the big boys in the form of JJ, Abyss, Raven and AJ since hes come to TNA. Hasnt been overwhelmingly spectacular, but hasnt been alarmingly bad either. Is the one out of the candidates who has been closest to the TNA title for the past few months. Can bust a move in big matches, especially thos with a gimmick. This means that KotM is right up his street, based offs his specialities of TLC and Ladder matches. Has been more of a naughty boy than Raven (i.e. off camera too) and this could result in him losing his spot in the KotM. His type of match and would add name value of sorts. (4) SONNY SIAKI. I know, I know. WTF. And there isnt enough time for them to book something similar along the lines that I am going to suggest, but I will run it by you nonetheless. Is the most effected by them not having TV time and is the least deserving of my 5 nominees. He isnt in TNA's thoughts by a long shot. But it could have been so different if TNA had seized an oppourtunity (which they dont normally do). That oppourtunity is based on 2 words. Chris Candido. Siaki is torn up about what happened, blames himself, somebody convinces him that its not his fault (and no, not Snitsky), Siaki vows to do his best to honour the spirit of Candido by risking his body on the line to reach the top, i.e. become KotM. He dedicates it all to Candido. An emotional candidate of sorts, who bypasses the back story by way of the sympathy connection hed have with the fans. (5) JERRY LYNN: Hes backs people. We know for a fact that he can perform to very high standards. Knows the combatants well, especially AJ and JJ to a slightly lesser extent. Is hyped for it. But is it a matter of too little too late. This isnt the most ideal time for him to subject a barely healed body to the torture that is KotM. How can you explain his inclusion. Is a fan favourite in TNA though, so you cant really rule him out. Hes a face and the crowd will go apeshit when they see him. I dont think the title will change hands at Slam, so if hes up for it, he is the least threating candidate I would say, given the circumstances of his return. Well, there you have it folks. The people I think who should be considered. I would hope that its Hardy, but if TNA are still peeved with him, it will either be Waltman or Raven (flushing things down the toilet on both counts, i.e. the match itself and a great story respectively). Depends very much on the shape Lynn is in. I dont know why they didnt make this match a deadly draw match. Made more sense given 4 participants. Have AJ start as the fighting champ that he is. JJ comes out last. At 1 point AJ will be facing Abyss, Brown and JJ. Brown is 2nd or 3rd, depending on whether it will based on Brown being tired and JJ having a go at him or fresher and JJ tries to make him do his dirty work. Brown turns on JJ. AJ and Abyss brawl. AJ pins and eliminates Abyss (although it would be nice fo Abyss to beat AJ at least one, but now is not that time) with Brown doing the same to JJ. AJ then pins Brown cheaply, turning Brown more towards facedom and sets up a future title shot. Alas, TNA dont think things through. Like the wasting of the concepts of Six Sides of Steel and Ultimate X.

I find that hard to believe, but yeah I guess HBK was out from WMX14 and Rock hadnt really made it then.
-
They could have had a JBL and Cena promo, with The Rock just happening to drop by and put Cena over. Agreed. Fans had tired of the Rock by 2002. It's far better for the business in his current role (occasionally appearing to pop a crowd and fit enough to wrestle to pop a pay per view buyrate) than it would be by continuing to clog up the main event, considering he's really got nothing left to prove in wrestling. I can't believe they were seriously thinking about doing a JBL vs Rock match at WM 21. That said, is there any viable options for dream matches involving the Rock in the future? Rock vs Cena is the obvious one, but any others? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> People to feud with: vs Cena vs Christian vs CCC vs Eugene vs Benjamin I dont get the vs Conway matchup and he surely has wrestled Michaels sometime. Add to the list of my matches above: vs Orton (3rd gen vs 3rd gen superstar - I was actually hoping that the Foley-Orton match would have been held of till Bad Blood, and The Rock fought Orton and Backlash since Orton took Foley out) vs OJ (the Rocky Johnson connection) vs Eddie (imagine the promos) vs JBL (imagine the promos)
-
I think he should never have left. He had too much going vs Brock, Cena and Angle at the time (whom he has never gone over properly). I still cant understand what Cena is doing on RAW, unless its temporary. It would get a good pop for a month and then he goes back to the SD. Also, Id like HHH to go to SD. There are 2 ways this can play. Either HHH wins the world title and goes to SD to find JBL parading as the WWE Champion or HHH loses and says screw you all and jumps to SD.
-
I dont like this. What position does this match have given TNAs history? How can you explain it?
-
Just thought Id post this. Good to see Lynn back. Source: www.tnawrestling.com
-
I dont think its entirely Coles fault. Hes the BUTT of many jokes and doesnt look credible because of it. Heyman and JR constant bickering is very annoying. I like Vinces enthusasism.
-
I like Vince on commentary. Its better than sloberknockers and PUPPIES. I also like Austin, Jericho and Flair. I think it would be gold hearing Austin and Flair call matches together. What can I say, Raven rules.
-
You seem to forget that JBL is a wrestling god and that you need him as your WWE Champion. When JBL turns face everybody will be cheering his name. How dare you disrespect him. Lets start now, JBL, JBL, JBL . . . .
-
Um, the show has aired already. If you don't want Raw spoiled, don't read the forums after the show has aired. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I worded my post in such a way so as to avoid comments like this. Not everybody has the luxury of watching RAW live, especially considering since its on 3 am on a Tuesday morning here and 12 PM on a Thursday. I know when the show airs in the US. It just that some people either write spoiler in the subject line or otherwise black out the names. um, what happens in the draft effects what I believe should happen to Christian. John Cena on Raw. Well i think Christian should stay on Raw. Provided HHH and a coiple of others move to SD. Cena, Christian, Orton. I believe the should all be on the same brand. Future of WWE. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I know it does. But with all due respect there is another thread discussing the draft per se. If I dont post in certain threads with my views, id be out thought by the time I get to watch it.
-
Could we please put the word SPOILER in such thread subject lines. I am doing my finals at University and will only be seeing RAW on Sunday, which is now ruined. You may say, dont view the thread, but its a discussion about what should happen to Christian, not what is happening in the draft. There are other threads for that.
-
Id say the next HHH. Thats what hes being groomed for. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The WWE doesn't need a next Rock or HHH. They need a new star and CCC could be it... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Agreed but in the E, with his physique, its never going to be CCC.

The OAO WWE Progress Discussion: Year-Half Edition
zyn081 replied to Lord of The Curry's topic in The WWE Folder
POST OF THE YEAR: for 3rd place see above. 1st place is RRR's Kingdom of 6. 2nd is Magus on TNA booking of Bound for Glory. BEST WORKER: Couldnt have said it better myself. Shelton, Eddie and Kurt are there abouts in decreasing order. MOST IMPROVED: Without a doubt, JBL, followed by Edge, Shelton, Batista and Christian. SPOT OF THE YEAR: Any of the high points from Jericho-Benjamin at Backlash. BIGGEST DISSAPOINTMENT: JBL losing the title at WM. HHH on RAW. MOST FUN TO WATCH/BEST MATCH: I really liked Shelton-Jericho at Backlash. FUNNIEST MOMENT: Viscera, Taxi Driver, some of JBLs promos, the way JBL won at NWO and Christian promos. BEST PPV: WM, JD and Backlash (in that order, HHH killed Backlash though). -
Its gotten very boring, very quickly due to all the hate thats going around by posters and the inactivity on TNAs part. There isnt much to talk about, except identifying possible futures of the company as a going concern or a defunct entity. I dont know why the TNA website hasnt been updated in a while. Its the only means they have to connecting with the outside world. :S
