Thats my concern. That hes going to get shafted. Please god, dont make him heel. I want to see a face Jericho as WWE Champion. I draw parallels to JJ and Raven and HHH and Jericho. I think both stories would work very well. And I think it was elsewhere and I know hes going to beat the crap out of me for saying it but RRR: HHH as a face is a terrible idea, I dont care about the guy to like him. He can only get cheap face heat. Does he have some time off with an injury and then do very good beautiful day type promos. Thats what made me look forward to him coming back. Those promos. Same for Angle and Clocks.

Oh come now. He's held the IC title more than anyone else! 7 times! Whatta honour! Which oozes well keep you around but we dont trust with the big one to me. Btw, Squall rocked.

Well, Vis has always been a good role player. One of his advantages due to his size/gimmick is that no matter what level of the card he's on, he is seen as a credible and legitimate threat. Besides moving pretty quickly for a man his size, Vis uses his offensive arsenal pretty well and doesn't blow up nearly as badly as other past superheavyweights (Yokozuna being a prime example; see his frequent use of the Star Trek nervehold to get his breath back). Viscera impressed me with his mic work and natural charisma during his 03-04 tenure in Memphis...he can work face just as easily as he can work heel. I was also impressed in 1995 by how after getting a megapush for 2 months, then buried for the next 4 months, he didn't get a big head or complain. He's also been seriously injured only once or twice in his 15-year career, so that's another upside. Bottom line, Vis is a guy whose talents exceed expectations and I'm glad the creative team is letting him show that every week on RAW. What are you, his publicist? I find it very hard to disagree with you though. On a side note, didnt the cotten candy plant really get into it!

Ive always like the idea of gang warfare strength in numbers, like team latin (rey, chavo, juvi, nicho and super crazy) vs noble, london, kidman, nunzio and spike. You could get Tajiri and Daviri over and have them team up with akio, funaki and a returning Ultimo. Like team rest of world.

If UPN want to get shot of SD and Vince doesnt like this, couldnt they just end the deal early? And if WWE goes to WGN, would that mean that TNA would have to start negotiating with Spike TV?
-
I agree, start with an exibition match: HBK - Jannetty. Then they finally win the tag straps (vs Hassan & Davari). Few month reign, then Angle gets involved and turns Marty on Shawn. This means though that Angle would have to go to RAW, but I think HBK should go to SD! Who could HBK-Marty win the tag straps from on SD! Angle would have to miss about 4 months to let HBK-Marty win and defend the WWE Tag Team Titles.

With the dumb expression on Kurts face and the way he tries to impose anger, I can never take him seriously. Hes a comedy promoer and a serious wrestler. Versatile but permantely shafted. The should still go with this funny happy go lucky Kurt and a mat wrestler in the ring. Yes, the focus was on Brock. Way way on Brock at Summerslam. He should have made a T-Shirt: I won, the Icon lost. The next week: I beat the Showstopper. Then the week after: I made the Main Event Tap . . . and HBK comments about them on RAW. Imagine Angle, no i didnt lose the title after tapping. Give it back its mine. This aint fair.

I think its a subliminal reference to a wake up call.

I like but I dont like parts of it. Will just comment I the potential holes I see. The 4-way is the best opener they could pull off. All 4 workers are better than Shane. Maybe make it a 6 way with Juvi and Shane So Team Canada wouldnt be on the card? No, I dont think they should and that would be their angle. For the reason see below. I cant see Punk vs Killings. How would they get to that? Daniels vs Low Ki would be hot. Abyss vs Killings would make more sense. I like the Naturals vs Hardyz and NAO vs AMW. That means that they could turn AMW heal or set-up TNA vs ex-WWE 4 on 4. 2 good tag matches and therefore no place on the card for team canada. JJ vs Monty and Raven vs Styles. Ive already said what I have to say about this. Its a problem I know. JJ shouldnt be in title picture again, but hes the best person to face Monty or Raven and if its not for the title, then it cheapens it. It wont be the same if its Styles instead of JJ, since Monty or Raven would have to be faces to win it. So altough JJ vs Monty works without the title, Raven vs Styles really doesnt at all and then you have a problem of who would face Raven since I think that it should be his night. The only natural name that fits is Daniels but then Raven wouldnt be overcoming the odds. If only Abyss was a more realistic contender, but for me JJ vs Raven is the best bet. Didnt mean to flame you bud, and I hope it doesnt come across like that. By the way, will this be called Bound for Glory?

Fair enough, your entitled to your opinion. I think AJ will win it too. If JJ wins it, even you Carnivaliz, wont be able to defend him. I thought their big PPV was Slam? But I like the idea of September, cause its 6 months away from Mania. Very hard to say who it will be. The realistic options IMHO are (the champion is always 1st): AJ vs Monty (Just doesnt seem to do anything for me, more of an exibition match. I find it very hard not to want Monty to win and that would be at AJs expense. I would say that this is a situation to be avoided.) AJ vs Daniels (Yes, and I like the idea of 2 talented so-called 'wrestlers' working the biggest TNA match of the year. The problem I have with this is that its been done to death and would most probably need a stip, and I am a 100% of the biggest TNA match of the year having a stip.) JJ vs Monty (A case of too little, too late. That means that JJ would have to win it back which is another U turn. Should have happened at Slam. Wouldnt be the same if Monty were the champ and JJ was the chaser.) Carnivaliz, I am not crapping on your ideas, just bringing the content. I would prefer to see 1 of: AJ vs Abyss (They work well together but been done even more to death than AJ vs Daniels) AJ vs Raven (Wouldnt work. Raven has to be face when he fulfills his destiny and then he decays into paranoia) Monty vs Raven (Would keep things constant, cause Raven could get over Monty any day, and Monty wouldnt change so quickly.) Daniels vs Raven/Monty (Pretty much works either way. I think Daniels would bring the cowardness of the heel but then would risk putting his body on the line. They could go down a holier than though route with the former, which I think would be gold since they are both excellent workers. Daniels could play off the fact that he one the big one at his 1st attempt and Raven is a loser. They could go down the hunter and the hunted with the latter, which I think Daniles promos and Montys physicality would get it over. Daniels could play off the fact that Monty is is afraid of winning the big one since he aligned with JJ.) JJ vs Raven (I know everybody is growning say how could you say this but: this is the best option they have got. And theyve got time to build it and build it right, and dont say that I am obsessed with Raven. Raven would go through Killings, Abyss and Monty. Hell, I could give you a back story for each one of them: Killings - has nothing to do at Slam and came 2nd in the Gauntlet. Raven could think about quiting since hes disgruntled that nobody respects him with Jeff not even bothering to turn up and bumps into Killings on his way out. Killings says that Raven is a quitter and never fulfilled his destiny in a cocky sort of way. Raven could then say that from were hes standing, Killings was only 2nd best at Hard Justice. Killings says that Raven is past it. Ravens says that may he is, but even when hes way past his prime he could beat Killings any day of the weak. Killings tell him to prove it and back it up. The stip is if Raven loses hes out of TNA for good. Abyss - who has been shafted out of a title shot twice. Raven decides to go for the big one, one last time. By this time Abyss would forget that hes got a signed contract for a 1 on 1 match. Raven sees an opening. He plays mind games with Abyss throughout the shows, getting to put his title shot on the line at sacrifice. The deal is that Abyss is too stupid to win the NWA title and he needs Ravens help. Abyss wouldnt like that at all. He would be willing to postpone his shot for 1 month to beat the crap out of Raven. Raven says to take a piece of him away, Abyss would have to Sacrifice something also. Monty - by this time, yes, groan, JJ is TNA champ again. He can harp on how good he is and Monty is his lacky cause Monty got his ass kicked at Slam. Enter Raven. Ravens got a title shot and starts calling JJ out. He doesnt want to wait till No Surrender, he wants it tonight. Out comes Monty. He says that his shot is bull and that the Champ isnt going to face him for it . . . unless he proves himself, by going through Monty, which he has never done before {or so I think}. Cue a Hardcore Match or an I Quit match, given that its No Surrender. JJ tries to screw Raven, but fails. JJ - Monty is out, Abyss is out. Raven hits iMPACT and says that JJ has nowhere to run and nowhere to hide, cause its going to be him and JJ one on one in September. "I [Raven] have rediscovered myself by staring in the face of my own failure, by sacrificing myself to get what I want and by not giving up to fulill the destiny that needs to realised. JJ, that makes me a very dangerous man and you can never stop me." JJ hits the stage, blah blah blah Raven, didnt you say similar things before and guess who was still the champ then and is still the champ now. He portrays Raven as being a choker showing all his losses. Its the match that has the most history and a prolonged angle that we havent seen in wrestling for ages. They have a past, so play on it). O how Killings has fallen. Rhyno and Matt shouldnt get near the title until after the New Year.

They will never have a womans division with that mentality. They have Tracy and Trinity. That in addition to the potential of Gail Kim shreds WWE's woman's division to pieces. Thats were I am going. Now if they get Molly and Jazz, and rehire Desire (what happened to her by the way?) then they have a Womens Div that smokes WWE any day.
-
Am I the only the only who thinks that Mondays is the worst possible day for them. Would they have 1 show every other week or be live 1 week and televised the next? If its the former, its a shit deal, especially given monthly PPVs. It would be cool to get Joe, Punk and Dragon, but I cant see it happening and who would they fight against? I can see live TV being a lure for Dragon and possibly Joe, but not Punk. Would be cool to see Ultimo, but what a way to shit on your X Div by bringing in your last 2 number 1 contenders.
-
I was joking. That would be such a waste of the Destiny angle. Hmmmmm. Destiny, Sacrifice, Destiny, Sacrifice. Sounds like a pairing there. One continously sacrifices himself so as to fulfil his destiny. I called it first.
-
I think daniels is out. That only leaves Killings and Raven. Pretty pointless going with the former. Come to think of it, given the randomness of TNAs booking, put Raven in the match because they will surprise us all and let him win it.
-
TNA had confirmed it. Will Matt be available by June 19th? And how are they going to justify his entry? JJ is ex-champ so thats a rematch, Abyss is No 1 Contender and Monty is . . . was screwed out of his title shot in a very silly way. Who could be the 5th?
-
you forgot to mention his trips to the thrift store to buy clothes. And waiting around airports after missing the plane.
-
They will never have a womans division with that mentality.
-
I think he used to do that to a degree in the WWE, just wasnt said so explicity.
-
AJ would have a job...but he would hate it...and he would be nothing more than a cruiser...he would also probably have to do some crazy gimmick. WWE is not the place to be if your small. Jarrett doesn't even have control! That is obvious with what happened at the PPV. I agree. And im not a JJ mark. JJ wanted to do the right thing and drop the belt to Monty at Slam.
-
Good to see Gail Kim at iMPACT. I liked her submission style. I agree that Matt will keep Jeff in check.
-
Not happening, Glenn. Resigning, for the time being at least, is the best possible move, and it's showing that TNA will have a focus of alternative talent at their disposal, rather than wanna-be's and castoffs from WWE. An AJ/Daniels World Title feud would write itself...all they have to do is follow up on the X Title feud. O yes. I like AJ-Daniels and think that he should be 5th man in KotM (the current KotM, the new champ, the monster, the floater and the hopeful double champ). Just not on Slam. I dont like the biggest PV of a company to have a gimmick ME. When i 1st read the subject line i thought that AJ & Daniels had left the company
-
Poor Abyss, talk about getting screwed. Slam should have been AJ-Abyss and JJ-Monty. KotM is good, but this is so unfair on Abyss.
-
Ooooh, I see. Thanks alot. But wasnt that done by other wrestlers too please?
-
I like it but Im wierd. He hasnt got the worst movest (samoan drop, running splash, rykeen bomb and his rolling kick).
-
I think Rey-Eddie will be hot and off the chart. Cena and JBL is right as I quit, but I would have preferred it if JBL was going to be de-pushed so much so soon. He wont get another title shot till Cena drops the belt now Booker or Angle should have been Cenas 1st oppenent, but theyve done them both to death and I think Booker and Angle will surprise people. The problem is who could Cena have faced if not JBL, Booker or Angle. Beat the UT? That would have been huge. I think they are looking at a Cena and Eddie mega fued personally down the line and I think that that has the potential to be gold. CCC is going to get his ass squashed, MNM get over Haas and Holly, plus we get Chavo and London. Hopefully, No Mercy Kidman-London style.
