I am going to be seeing Radiohead live in Glasgow on the 27th of June. Naturally, none of the people who I am going with (or myself for that matter) are financially secure enough to book into a hotel. So, I figured that a youth hostel would be a far more affordable option. I just wondered about a couple of the basic formalities that apply to youth hostels in general. 1. How much do they generally cost to book into? 2. Is it a requirement that you book in advance? 3. Would the people who run them be likely to refuse you entry if you returned past a certain hour? All help is appreciated.

Most of my tales of restaurant misbehaviour would actually relate directly to my father rather than myself. He's well behaved in esteemed eateries, sure, but he has no reservations whatsoever about loudly complaning to those behind the counter at fast-food joints.
