  1. That was a nasty bump. It was brutal, but I couldn't stop laughing the rest of the Rumble, because King kept DEMANDING they play Taka dieing over and over. It was so fucking great. I remember watching that at a friends house and laughing my ass off as well. We would cheer everytime King demanded a replay, since it was shown about 25 times.
  2. RIP, I hope this doesnt have any impact on the Shield. The show needs a conclusion to that awesome, mind fuck of a season finale from last month.
  3. BRING IT ON! Guy had an awesome look and WWE gave up on him way too quick. When did Mordecai fight Undertaker? I was waiting for this to happen, but WWE decided to send him back to OVW.
  4. Hmmmm i dunno, but Ogrish certainly is interesting. I've never heard of it before.
  5. With the exception of the Butters episode (which I love), I agree 100%.
  6. This episode is only adding to the pile of shit that has been this season. I'm not impressed. Edit: This episode just ended. Just when I think this show can't get any worse, Matt and Trey prove me wrong. That was without a shadow of a doubt the worst episode in the show's history. There was not one funny joke, and the ending with her asshole dying went on WAY too long. I have officially lost my faith in this show.
  7. No, I'm not that creative. I used an ASCII generator.
  8. Jason Lee named his son Pilot InspeKtor, ftw.
  9. EDIT: To celebrate the 15th day since the official announcement of the suspension of Randy Orton, I present you all with ASCII RANDY!
  10. I have a friend over here in SC that has the exact same job. He gets to use a coke van though, so he doesn't get the free gas money perks. Will you end up working the same 80+ hour weeks that he does? Congrats on liberating yourself of the video game store. I left Gamestop behind last Summer and never looked back.
  11. Oh no, a Nike Check appeared on some teenage girl's chest in a comic book! Whatever will we do?! Whats next? Wolverine driving a Jetta? Daredevil eating at Pizza Hut? Oh when will this logo placement that takes so much away from the story, end?
  12. - There is some pretty fun offense from Mordecai in that beatdown. I loved the high-angle Franchiser (actually made the move look deadly) and the clothesline of fucking death on Akio. The end of Paul London vs Billy Kidman from Smackdown in 2004 - Nice gusher from Paul London. London falling backwards, between the bottom and middle ropes onto his HEAD is nice too. I wonder why there's no commentary though?
  13. I didn't see this anywhere else in the thread, but I would like to see a Best of the Cruiserweights DVD Collection. It would involve everything from the old Lightweight Championship up through the final Nitro. They could throw in the match between Liger and Pillman, the Luchadore invasion, even the worthless but still notable cruiserweight tag titles. In the final days of WCW, the Yung Dragons, 3-Count, Kidman, Chavo, Air Raid(AJ Styles and Air Paris), Rey, and Jason Jett were all setting the ring on fire. I would kill for this. Maybe even throw in a compilation video of the "do a running dive to the outside on every other person involved in the match whether theyre your partner or not" spots that were in every single 6-man cruiser tag match.
  14. My god, that is one incoherent promo. All I could understand from the guy was AAAAAH DUUUUH DUUMM DEEEEEEH RAAAAARGH! So this is the crap that put WCW on top of the wrestling world? I'm glad I missed the majority of the Dungeon of Doom crap. I gave up on wrestling in mid 1992 and didn't tune back in until late 1995.

    WCW Games

Could anyone understand what it was that Giant said during the opening cinema of WCW/nWo World Tour? All I could ever get was "I am sick and tired of you and the nWo..." then he screamed something that made zero sense. I'm glad that the move animations got better between the World Tour and Revenge. World Tour: DDP's Diamond Cutter looked more like a super-slow RKO The Outsiders Edge was a sit-out crucifix powerbomb The Jacknife Powerbomb was the basic powerbomb that was assigned to nearly every other heavyweight in the game. Wrath being pretty overpowered Revenge: Perfectly animated Diamond Cutter, Outsiders Edge, and Jacknife TOP ROPE OUTSIDERS EDGE! Stevie Ray's Slapjack had sick impact, and the Scorpion Deathdrop was animated perfectly. Getting to play as Sting with the trenchcoat The Jackhammer being animated correctly, which is something even Raw 2 for the X-Box couldn't get right. Executioner, Dake Ken, and Han Zo Moon being the near-unstoppable bringers of death. Dake Ken being the only character who could pull a Gallagher(sp?)-esque Sledgehammer from the crowd for a weapon. Unlocking Wrath with the Gameshark Also, I wish the later WWF games for the 64 would've retained the top rope Outsiders Edge, and Slapjack from Revenge.
  16. The music in the opening movie. First thing you hear when you press start. http://downloads.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/...etherworlds.mp3 Awesome! Thanks for the info. I've had that midi for about 3 years, but had no idea what it was supposed to be.
  17. We had one around these parts until 2002 when it closed and became a chinese buffet. Seemed like a fair trade at the time, but I did like the food at OCB.
  18. Its a little sweeter due to the vanilla flavoring but not much.
  19. Still sounds like the move Boogeyman beat Booker T with at Wrestlemania. Unless Khali just lifts them up with the choke and drops them, in which case I will tune in for the hilarity.
  20. All I have is a story of waiting for Raven and Faarooq (when the APA were still over as GOD) to come to opening tickets sales day for a house show to sign autographs. After a 45-minute wait, only Raven ever showed up. There was a box of 8X10's of Faarooq, but Raven only brought "The Official WWF Autograph Mat" to sign. He was nice enough to sign an old WCW figure of him that I found. This was one of the really shitty San Francisco Toymakers figures, with POWER PUNCH ACTION. I handed it to Raven and asked if he would sign, once he got a good look at the figure, he looked me square in the eys and asked, "What the fuck is this?". Apparently he had no idea that those figures were ever made. Anyways, after a short chat, I walked away with my figure autographed by some guy named "RIVEN". Surprisingly Raven is a pretty small guy in person, and was wearing what I can best describe as librarian glasses.
  21. Wonderful, so he's using Boogeyman's finisher now.
  22. Way to kill kayfabe WWE. Have Batista and the girl that was "suing him for sexual harassment" in the same building signing autographs.
  23. They're disappointed, why exactly? What did they expect with the card they presented? Some of the matches came off far better than they had any right to be, but on paper it looked like shit.
  24. Wasn't Steiner suffering from some extreme problems with his foot during his WWE run that has since been corrected? I know that doesn't account for the shitty quality of his matches, but maybe, he has gained a step or two since taking the past 2 years out of the spotlight. As long as he can go for about 10 minutes without being completely blown up (see vs HHH at Royal Rumble 2003) he should be decent enough.
  25. The Benoit vs JBL cage match is terribly overrated. It honestly didn't do anything for me, and Benoit is being wasted in a feud in the midcard. MOTY for me is easily Undertaker vs Kurt Angle from No Way Out. It was great to see 'Taker bust out the Bikertaker offense again. **** 1/2 easily.
