Good RPG but, due to its complex story, I wouldn't recommend it to casual players. Too much random battles for my tastes though...

Oh man, this is so ridiculous they need to create another WWE cartoon totally ripping off X-Men. - Taker has dark magic powers, shoots lightning and can blow the enemy's cover by turning on all the lights in a room. - KAAAAAAAANE controls fire, so he can create firewalls. Can be manipulated since he has a weak mind and will do what the voices in his head tell him to do. - Hogan has his veto power, so if he gets gunned down he can always get back on his feet, laughing like Arnold in Total Recall and walk off. - The villains will consist of the same returning characters since any new villain will easily be beaten by HHH. - Vince will be like Dr. Claw. In every episode, he will always get his plans foiled and will fly off to his next HQ cursing that there will be no mistake next time.

Remember, in one of the countless promos, he said "I told them I wasn't acting". So Attitude-era Kane is coming back to take his spot, which was lost to bald Kane...let's say by the time he came with the Ultimate Warrior mask. I like the theory that Masked Kane would be the burned freak who lived with Paul Bearer while Bald Kane would be the necrophiliac that couldn't drive a manual transmission. That would be one way to explain his screwed-up history. Remember that Paul Bearer said "You're no son of mine" at Wrestlemania XX, foreshadowing~! ...but then, all of this doesn't matter since the angle is flushed. I don't get why they flushed it so soon after all this May 19th stuff. It's nothing worse than the 2004-2005 stuff with Lita, Hardy and Snitsky.

I don't like the return of DX, the only funny thing they did was HHH doing the ear-scrathing that McMahon did during Ric Flair's return. Shawn Michaels acting as the sidekick doesn't seem right, he did absolutely nothing of note except playing second fiddle to HHH. During the McMahon parody skit, he was nothing but a one-joke beaten into the ground. ....and there is just too much ass being shown lately.

I'd rank it : 2004, 2001, 2005, 2003, 2002. But to be honest, the only periods where I truly enjoyed the product were 2001: Pre-Wrestlemania, 2002: the Smackdown Six and 2004: Raw the first six months. Wrestling's just not has been the same since WCW folded.

I saw that game for the first time two weeks ago at my town's EB. I was always interested in it but it costed way too much on ebay. So, despite the hefty price tag, I decided to buy it. I haven't had this fun playing a video game with friends since Goldeneye, that game is so awesome. It's hard to get used to it in the beginning though, especially alterning notes with your ring and pinky finger. I'm playing on medium and have unlocked the third set of songs. I tried to play on hard right at the beginning but it kicked my ass way too hard. I'll play it when I will have mastered medium difficulty. A question : is there any keytars that you can buy in this game ? I bought the double-necked guitar for my character, but a keytar would be so much cooler.

Apparently, the Managers DVD isn't that good. I've read that there's also a lot of kayfabe in the DVD, with stuff like "Managers are always good because they can scout the opponent before the match, so you have an early advantage". But it's only stuff I've read, I didn't see it for myself.

Absolutely no way RVD is keeping the belt. This situation will create the ECW belt, but Cena's still the champ.

I thought that Suikoden III wasn't on par with the Suikodens on PS1. If you can get past the slow beginning, you will find a decent RPG, but nothing mindblowing. You will get surprised, if you played the first two Suikodens, *semi-spoilers, I guess* . The story gets better as you progress through the game, it's just a matter if you will have the patience to play through the 3 introduction chapters. Since we're in the subject, are Suikoden IV and V any good ? I've heard some mixed reviews, are they more like the first two or more like the third ?

In my opinion, Luke-Vader from RotJ ­> Luke-Vader from ESB. Both fights are divided into three parts. ESB wins Act I but RotJ takes Act II and III. The music playing after Vader talks about turning Leia to the dark side and hearing the Force theme when Vader turns against the Emperor is so awesome, not to mention that Luke is just so intense when he's going apeshit striking Vader's hand. Give me the "facial" expressions of Vader while Luke is being electrocuted over anything from the new trilogy. Aside from maybe watching RotS once in a while, and I haven't seen it since it left the theatres, I'm pretending the new trilogy never happenned.

That's gotta be a joke, not to mention that $80 000 for a company is ridiculous. I don't like the Legends shirts. If they brought back old shirts like they're the ones they're packing with DVD ( like DX, Bret or Jake ), that would be more interesting. Do you want to wear a plain white shirt with a half-naked man on the front ?

In the last Wrestlecrap/Tenta update, the news weren't too good and they said the doctors gave him 18 months max. Even though it was bound to happen, it's still sad to hear this. Cancer is a terrible thing. R.I.P.

The audio quality isn't that good and JBL sounds wasted most of the time. The only things I remember him saying was "This is the main event ?" before the Dudleys vs Sandman/Dreamer match and, when Heyman says "Hide your wives, it's Edge !", he says something like "No need to, they're all gay."

- Carlito sucks ass. He's been doing new moves since he turned face, which is a plus, but I don't see anything cool or funny with his gimmick. He spits apples...and ? What has he done since his face turn beside unfunny skits ? - The reason they're pushing Kenny ahead of Jeter is because he can lean back his leg during a top-rope legdrop. - 1996-97 Austin was his peak. He became just another ordinary face to me after Bret left. Vince McMahon was the best performer of the two in their feud until he went insane. Vince McMahon trying to pacifically reason with Austin was so much better than the over-the-top Vince who did the Greater Power and all that stuff. - I don't know why people cheer Hogan nowadays when he's doing the same shit he did 20 years ago. - I don't know why people love Dusty Rhodes so much. I don't buy his "common man" gimmick at all, I don't understand half of his promos and spinning your forearms before doing an elbow doesn't impress me. Part of my dislike for him comes from the asshole who's always yelling "Whoo ! Dusty Rhoooodes ! Dusty Rhodes ! Dusty Rhoooodes ! Whooohoo ! Dusty Rhoooodes !" on the Ric Flair DVD. - I hate Jim Ross being the best friend of Austin and the "one who every fan must loves". - I actually liked the Ahmed Johnson/Faarooq/Nation of Domination stuff. I also liked Sycho Sid. - I also mark for the Masterlock. - Aside form his cool suits, I don't see anything different with Batista than any other hoss main-eventer. - I have accepted the fact that HHH will never go away and will be treated as the greatest wrestler of all-time when he's done. Deal with it.

*I'm not using spoiler tags since most members who come in this thread have already seen the movie* I thought the movie was good. It could have been longer to expand more characters instead of making more place for Storm. Where was Nightcrawler and Gambit ? Why were Colossus and Angel merely cameos ? I haven't read the spoilers nor have read many of the comic books ( my X-Men geekness mostly consist of watching the old cartoon ), so I couldn't care less if the Jean/Pheonix stuff is faithful to the comics or not. I was sure something was going to happen to the Professor when he and Storm had that talk at the beginning of the film about him being dead. Still, the way he died and the lost of Mystique's powers came off both as surprises to me. Cyclops' death would suck, but he was so under-developped in the movies that it doesn't really matter. I was sure that, at the end, Magneto would lay down his king in defeat, so I marked out big time when he made his piece move. As for the scene after the credits, I didn't see it. I just hope that X4 doesn't pussy out and resurrects all of the dead characters.

I never had any problems with my PS2 and my Gamecube only froze when I played Metroid Prime. My Xbox on the other hand, had random crashes with several games. I always thought the "Disc error. Your disc may be dirty or damaged." screen was due to audio problems because either the music/reply was skipping or it didn't load. The worst was with NHL 2k5. It's a great game, but the real challenge was getting through a game without having a disc error. For each 60:00 game I played, there was maybe 100+ minutes invested in it because there was an error in the beginning of the third period. I turned off the commentators so there would be less sound to load, but the game crashed anyway. Are all 2k games like this ?

I wish they would develop Bowser more than just "Bad Guy who always get his plans foiled but keeps coming back anyway". He was awesome in Super Mario RPG and they haven't gave him this kind of personnality since. I guess they don't want Bowser to turn out like Wario, a villain turning hero. Ghaleon is a great character in Lunar : Eternal Blue. Even though a third proper Lunar will probably never happen, I'd like to see him coming back in a short role in spirit form. Luca Blight is also one of my favorites, so is Ocelot.

Are there any major edits on the WM DVD, besides the women's match ? Did they turn the crowd pro-Cena in the main-event or the "fuck you Cena" chants are still intact ? I don't get why Homecoming would be release on DVD. It was mostly angles and they don't warrent a DVD release. They could release both Eddie memorial shows, it's not like it would be the most tasteless thing they did with his death in order to make money.
