  1. Indeed we did do this before, and I'll repeat my choice: "I've got something to say, I killed a baby today" (Last Caress)
  2. sterling, you're waaaaaaaaay off the mark with this one. I won't try and call NOFX great musicians, but comparing "skate punk" if that's what it's called to general pop music is stupid. Especially comparing it to the "energetic" "alternative" hip-hop. First of all, most hip hop I've heard except for southern stuff has far less energy than punk. And there are some fast paced hip hop songs. But not many. And fewer that are good. Please PLEASE give names for the energetic hip hop. And do NOT call it "alternative" As far as I'm concerned, where I come from, hip hop and RnB are the mainstream. Along with your average pop top 40 stations, which play a lot of Hip hop anyways. Certainly a lot more than they play NOFX or Pennywise, or anyone like them.

    Tekken 5

but what about the PS2 controller aspect???

    Tekken 5

unless this game has the strongest online features EVER, it's going to get shitted on in the reveiws. Taking out such "progress" as the interactive levels? Travesty! I wonder where there's a machine near me...
  5. -Mindless Self Indulgence is really really great. I mean, I love listening to them. So much energy. So much disdain. Bring the Pain is an epic. EPIC. song. -Good Clean Fun is really enjoyable, although their hardcore Straitedge message isn't entirely for me. I played it at work, and my coworker didn't know if he was listening to hardcore punk or like, an afterschool special... Oh well, at least they're local.
  6. So yeah has anyone else played this yet? Cuz if not, I recommend it. Having not even played Jakk or Sly, I can't make broad statements about platformers in this generation, but I can say this: rachett and clank UYA is great! Going Commando was pretty great too, and this one is better, albiet shorter. I've never tried the multiplayer, has anyone else? *EDIT* Right right, I found downhome's old thread, but the last post on that was two weeks old. Two signifigant weeks. Anyone played it's Multiplayer? Does ANYONE have a PS2 broadband adapter?? */EDIT*
  7. *shrug* Yeah, Mike, two years ago I wouldn't have said it cuz you weren't so crazy back then.
  8. Mike are you referring to New York and New England in your "Shitbox" comments? I'd love to see Red America try to exist without East Coast above the Mason Dixon. LOVE TO.
  9. Liberal : Conservative INXS : A MikeSC I wouldn't have said this a year ago. But I'm saying it now.
  10. No it's a much more recent episode dealing with the origins of Aku, and what happened before the first episode of the series. It won an emmy
  11. I think that this just proves that anyone trying to have a real debate w/ Mike is a loon. The two numbers are based upon different things. Why that means people can compare them because they can't prove that they numbers differ enough to change the outcome baffles me. You all find numbers based upon the same criteria and get back to us. This is all silly.
  12. Jack vs. the Maurauders could be named as Jack vs. the Ultra-Robots, or Jack vs. the Assasins, or Jack vs. the Basketbots for all I know Jack vs. the Zombies is what got me into the Jack series, especially the fight at the end. Find it, now. I'll send it to you over IM if you want, whatever the method, it'll be worth it. It's too good to miss.
  13. Maybe, just maybe, don't go shopping on Black Friday...

    iPODS?

Like previously mentioned: They're cute, yay. They're overpriced, nay. Their batteries are shitty, nay. Therefore: If someone gave me one, I'd use it. If I had to buy an MP3 player, I wouldn't be getting an iPOD. I've got a Creative Nomad, and it's great, for probably less than 200 dollars now.
  15. Fucking Cartoon Network and their fucking 52 episode limit. Killed Home Movies, Killed Samurai Jack. I've downloaded ~48 of the 52 episodes of Jack. I find it ironic that you all are mentioning the older episodes of SJ as the good ones. They're fine and all, but they go SO much better. Watch Jack vs. the Maruaders, Jack vs. MondoBot, and JACK VS. THE ZOMBIES. Or Jack and the Zen Master, Jack and the Haunted House, The Birth of Evil, there are sooooo many great episodes. If you haven't caught any of these episodes, and you enjoy action cartoons at all, catch them. You won't be dissapointed.
  16. Oh come on. Everyone knows movies about war are just that, movies. Why is it illegal or even demoralizing to show the faces and injuries of Americans who've been hurt in this war? Why is it illegal to show the caskets coming back, or see the injuries of the Iraqis? Because it's unpopular. It's pretty fucked up that we can go to war in this country and not have to deal with the consequences. That the media allows us to go ahead with clean thoughts about one of the most disgusting actions there is (the declaration of war)
  17. Yes of course. Maybe if us Americans would see the horrors of wars, maybe they wouldn't be desensitized to them. Maybe not be willing to continue starting them
  18. Didn't he already do that? Maybe just the past four years. It's all subtext. Oh and HELLS YEAH! Gooo 49%.
  19. I just bought the new Space Ghost season, and HOME MOVIES VOLUME 1!!! Greatness in DVD form!!!
  20. Obviously they're tired. This season was great for the first half... But this second half hasnt been as good. Oh well, it's still worth watching.
  21. Don't call it a reverse, call it a chin up

    Give me metal.

Does anyone else find the term "mathcore" to be just so odd?
  23. You guys, lets go see these guys and have a good cry together, eh? Life is so hard.
  24. It's all that conservative thought. Let it out. Like gas.
  25. Um exercise? I bike to and from work everyday which seems to have the lower body pretty lean and machiney... *flex* But uh yeah....... I've started doing some Bench Presses w/ my roommates stuff. I think Agent said something like "Get of that bike and under some weights!" Ok. I can lift a lot more weight now than I could like a few months ago, which is pretty money. Me and my roommate will be putting in a chin-up/pull-up bar in our backyard tomorrow hopefully. What else do you need? Your own body weight is the best weight to lift. I don't wanna be massive at all, just able, just fit.
