Even if this were about global warming, which you think is false, the scientists would be correct, and Bush would be wrong. You'd be wrong. But it's not. But research has shown repeatedly that married people live longer, usually better lives, IIRC. No I don't have a source. Inasmuch as that's the case, plus the fact that married people are more likely to stay together than people just living together, especially if they see the marriage ceremony as an actual contract w/ God, Marriage is a very good thing. I just wish it would be given to all peoples. Marriage is good for a man and a woman, and it'd also be good for a man and a man, or a woman and a woman. This ep of Simpsons (Not that this thread is about it but whateva) suffered from the same flaw that is making me hate the simpsons of late (actually the past few years). every episode seems to degenerate into special guests only. What was the point of having Brady, Kwan, and the rest? I admit, LeBron James was funny. "That was a good day too." But totally unnecessary. Most people aren't good voice actors. The simpsons was far better when their guests didn't play themselves. Anyways about American Dad. I think people are getting too bogged down in the characters, this isn't like say Home Movies where the characters are actually important as characters. No one cares who Stewie, Peter, Quagmire, or the rest of the FG cast are, they just like the jokes. If the cast of AD is made of up good voice actors and they've got good writers, then the show will be good. One dimensional, like the Family Guy, but FG is extremely good at what it does. And riding the Buffalo was pretty funny.

I just find it odd that when people like INXS, adom bomb (sp?), and like Kigibamagi (sp), et al display hyper liberal viewpoints they get painted as trolls, and not just idiots. Somehow displaying pro-Palestinian, anti-American sentiment is trolling? It's WRONG in many many cases, but it's not an attempt to provoke people. So like, I have to say Dean will have to deal with his past in regards to his new position. I feel that any sort of outcry besides the actual "YEARGH!" would have sounded better at the time. But in all fairness, he was anti-Iraq before anti-Iraq became pop, as it is now. No one likes this military action. I'm sure if it were up to Dean we wouldn't be there in the first place. I've heard Bush say that now that we're in it, we can't afford to leave it. Which one shows better foresight, much? Kerry most definitely lost the election himself, or at the very least won almost no voters w/ his total lack of expression. There is a very clear, very FAT line in the ground with American politics, as far as I'm concerned. Neither side can successfully appeal to voters by trotting out little tidbits of the oppositions strengths. Dems won't out conservative the Reps and vice versa. I feel like there might not be a quick way for Dems to win back voters in two years or even four years. We can't just snatch out voters, trick them into voting for us. We have to convince them that we're correct, and that the Republican (Conservative) view is wrong. We don't need more pro-lifers, we need there to be more pro-choicers. If that takes years of campaigning, and PR, and losses, so be it. Lord knows the Republicans will give us a chance, I'm pretty sure they're not going to do ANYTHING successfully domestically anytime soon. On one hand thats kind of good in that it'll help the Dems eventually. But mostly it's just worrying.
