So has anyone else picked this up recently? I got mine about a month ago, I would say. I've made three characters so far, and I think I'll probably make a fourth. They're all custom classes, but I've got a Nord fighter, A Khajit Thief/Archer/H2H, and a highelf mage. Lets be honest though, I really feel destined to make a fourth character to take advantage of the Dark Brotherhood quests. I just can't decide whether to use a Dark Elf, or possibly a redguard. I had the most success with a Dark Elf in Morrowind, but that might be because everyone in that are would get along with you better

I think the telling thing FOR ME is that he got this banged up in seven years on WWE workschedules. Whereas many, many wrestlers have been wrestling for longer and are in better shape. Even "dangerous indy wrestlers" like Christopher Daniels, Danielson, even Samoa Joe have been doing this for so many years. Maybe Angle was older and/or more hurt coming in, but I've always been irked that WWE workers HAVE to work 4 days out of the week.

Here's the thing. Any attempt to "legitimize" the "sport" of wrestling is struck down quickly. They don't show a sport or a match, they show an argument and a fight. They make movies.

My thoughts on Foley/Melina Having not seen the PPV, it none the less goes something like this: 1) Nitro and Melina are not uber heels like I dunno McMahon. Or more aptly, they are NOT Edge and Lita. Yes, they may cheat to win, but so does Carlito. 2) Foley and Flair match apparently contained something of a double turn in that Flair was turned from the spectactular Nature Boy into something of a raving madman, willing to beat the shit out of an innocent bystander just to get his old enemy to give up. At the same time, both Foley and Melina were humanized by having a platonic FRIENDSHIP that was real and decent. Obviously Melina was with Nitro, but that never mattered to Foley because he wasn't trying to FUCK Melina. Everyone who is posting here about that is fucking stupid. Foley is married and has a hot wife. Melina is with Nitro who looks better than Foley. There is no sex tension here, there is only loving friendship. Almost, likely, a mentor relationship. It COULD have built to something of a second dimension to Melina. 3) Flair's promo on Vince on Raw was not only fantastic, but led to Melina's promo which wasn't bad (see: the second dimension I mentioned earlier) You believed Foley would rather walk out of the company than disgrace himself in front of his fans and his friend. 4) The ass kissing. Foley made, quickly, the decision that his dignity was worth nothing without his friends, and decided that kissing another man's right ass check was less onorous than causing a friend's termination, even indirectly. So, he yells at Vince to drop trou, and gets it over with. This leads to: 5) The turn. I'm sure they will come up with some sort of promo to make this "make sense" but it just won't. There is no no no reason for that low-blow. It makes sense if you assume that the bookers are full of shit and especially if you see Vince hanging out with Melina in the future, after all, we know that Vince has to make out with every single female on the roster. But as a "heel turn" it was out of no where and unexplainable. A heel turn (and a face turn) has always been effective when it MAKES SENSE. This one was senseless. It was just done to get Melina and Nitro over as heels, when it would be a thousand times more effective to slowly use their relationship to CAUSE the low blow, or something like that. Leave them as tweeners for a while or something like that. It was effective to see Melina run out during Nitro's entrance, him looking miffed that she wasn't there but dealing with it, her running out and quickly "putting on the act". It showed that Nitro may be irritated with Melina hanging out with his girlfriend because she's away, he's not JEALOUS because he was all smiles when she came back. THAT could have led to a heel turn when TENSION was created between the two, and Melina inevitably choses the young hot boyfriend over the fat but considerate friend. Especially if NITRO heeled it up more than Melina. My god, how many times have we seen THAT happen? It would work. This didn't work. This is what infuriates me on Raw. A story is crafted, becomes possibly great, and is shot down when someone else takes control of the story. If Foley was leaving, they should not have done the turn anyways. He should have left after his match with Flair.
