I maintain, two years ago, two dollar gas was something to fear, not something to appreciate. They must be kicking their heels down Big Oil way. Well consider those games heavily recommended then, pixels or no A lot of the ones mentioned above should be available for $20 or less, unless your fu is better than mine and you can get them for less.

A decent question is: did you have a playstation? Because if not, there are quite a few good PSX games worth picking up and playing which SHOULD be super cheap. A few, also, that are hella expensive. But if you can find them, both PSX Suikoden games are fairly legendary. I would try and find a friend to borrow them from, I'm always lending out my copies, because they're very hard to find at a reasonable price.

I cannot imagine that there are TOO many exclusive sports games for the PS2. For RPG's, You can go from pure RPGs like FFX to semi-RPGs like Kingdom Hearts 1+2, to Strategy RPGs like Disgaea. I basically listed some of my favorite games. SSX gets some love for simply being a fun racing game. I dunno, I'll have to go home and check out my collection. Besides the ones I listed, I have a tougher time remembering.

A bit before my time. I think I was rocking only a gameboy then, as that was all I could afford. I would *LOVE* any and all info on the sports game, but as far as I know, its just not out there. Like I told my friend: if its just a shitty batting demo game, and a tennis swinging game, fuck it. If there is an actual baseball game, an actual tennis game, an actual bowling game, well, alright then. Just because its got a new control scheme doesn't mean we need to have a bunch of generic everything. I'm not demanding a million different and licensed baseball teams by any means, but a little variety would definitely be nice.

Well, having SEEN the game, it certainly doesn't LOOK like those games. But this game is surely all about (ALL about) the new control scheme. If the games control well, are fun to play, and have a decent multiplayer mode, thats it. I'm a big fan of the more interactive games, be they DDR, Guitar Hero, or the drum game from Namco, or Point Blank.

I would absolutely LOVE to know if Wii Sports is a decent game or not. Why is no one reporting on the PACK IN game???

If it were made by EA, I would never buy it. EA = trash...

Maybe the ratings are slipping because, like I said here, people are noticing that the show is mostly trash and its NOT getting better. Not appreciably...

Well jeez, Leena, this is quite hard, what kind of games do you fancy? I mean I would say thing FFX right away, Guitar Hero, DDRs, Rachet and Clanks, uhh Katamari Damaci... Ico and Shadows of the Colossus are both amazing games. I mean, what do you like best? But I don't think you can go wrong with the above ones. SSX3 / On Tour is a good one too.

I think the good/bad decision of whether or not $250 is a reasonable price is in the quality of Wii Sports. If the game is bad, then its a ripoff. If it is a musthave game? Totally worth it!
