I'm going to give Freakshow a chance, considering I also hated Drawn Together at first, and look how far it has come. Considering that this show combines David Cross, Will Arnett (?) and Jon freakin' Benjamin, I have high hopes.

Regardless, I'm just saying that your chances of even finding a "cheaper" PS3 are remote at best. Not to mention your chances of finding a PS3 are remote. The big deal WAS that the core PS3 didn't always have the HDMi output, which it now does, huzzah. I maintain that the difference between $199 and $299, and the differences between $499 and $599 are not the same. Why get the core PS3?

Considering that 1 in 5 of the PS3s will be the "Core" model, the point is pretty inconsequential, no?

What really got me was how spot on this whole ep was for the MMORPG scene. "'Kyle, cast [some ice spell]!' 'I can't, its got an eight minute cooldown!' 'Aren't you specced for cooldown?' 'No, I'm an Arcane [fire something] Mage!' 'Christ...'"

Look, this whole Walmart / Bestbuy thing isn't surprising to ME, I mean, how much business do you think Sony does at Bestbuy every day? Compared to Gamestop? Bestbuy sells sony VCRs, DVD players, TV's, DVDs, etc etc etc and further etc. I'm sure they're hoping that when people go to Bestbuy to buy this thing, they'll also pick up some new speakers. I laught out loud at the Gamestop stores. They might as well carry three copies of each PS3 game, if that many. One system per store!? Why even carry it!?

I guess it could be worse, but my 70 year old co-worker got the regular "Windows needs to update your computer" dealie popup that comes every so often. So, fine, she allows it to restart to finish the updates. But, curiously, it takes longer than usual to reset the computer. So, irritated at the screen that must have said something like, "windows updating" she just turned it off... Upon startup the thing just BSOD'd right off. I thought that alone was pretty funny. Then she started to claim that she must have gotten one of those "viruses" and wouldn't believe me when I told her she broke it, and how she broke it.

This ep was less haha funny and more nervous-laughter-at-the-awkwardness-funny.

Actually if gas costs more, in theory, more people will avoid spending money on gas and spend it on the busfare instead. Because as you may or may not know, government gas is MUCH cheaper than public gas. Oh, what, you think THEY pay the taxes? At least not all of them...
