Whoa, that board gave me a headache. After about ten seconds I was scrambling for the close button. Maybe TSM isn't the asshole of the internet like I once thought it was.

I wasn't speaking directly to you, bob. I've always felt that the board at large will decide whether something is worthy of a thread. If it gets no responses, it goes away and we move on. For instance, I started a thread called "National Pastime?" in sports this week and it died after one response. I threw up a clunker and it failed, but we all moved on. Some of the new guys get a lot of heat for that sort of thing; I'm just lucky I've built up enough capital around here to let something like that skate by. I don't like when people try to tell others what deserves a thread and what doesn't. That was the problem I had for so long with the old CWDWAT in the WWE folder.

I sent him a PM earlier today about thread creation and board standards in an effort to help him. He never responded and then started several more threads. That's the last time I try to help someone. The Olberman vs. McMahon thread was bad, but it was equally annoying that five different posters felt that it was necessary to jump on him for starting a non-thread-worthy topic. If you don't like the thread, don't respond.

Which one is the American Idol chick? Is it the heavier-set ugly chick? Looks like Andy Dick is joining the house this week. I don't care that much about seeing him, I just want all Adler all the time.

I'm glad that they added a no dunking rule. That was always a point of contention in horse competitions back when I was in high school. It was quite unfair for a guy who could dunk to sucker a non-dunker into competition. But then again, these are NBA guys, so that probably wouldn't come into play.

I like that when Kamala gets drunk he runs to the board to express his feelings about TSM. Oh, and these comments definitely deserved a thread.

Typically during the week I just cycle through my ten presets. Howard 101, Espn and CNN are the talk stations I frequent. I like Classic Vinyl, Deep Tracks, Buzzsaw (now Boneyard), Hair Nation, Octane, Alt Nation and Backspin for my music. On the weekends when I have time I'll explore some of the other stuff like Coffee House and Outlaw Country. You?

It's not that the music folder sucks, it's just that it's hard to get a good conversation going. At some point it will turn to taste and preference and someone will get offended. I was organizing my CDs last night and realized I had close to 1,000 different discs. But I still don't know what 90% of the stuff is that gets talked about in that area. Not sure what that means, but it might speak to the narrowness that KKC mentioned.

That wasn't as bad as me getting bitch-slapped by Inc for getting punny with my thread titles in the Music folder. You have to walk a fine line in that whole area.

I find e-feuds perplexing because I can't see why anyone would care enough to keep them going. I don't have the energy for an e-feud. Besides, I like all of you... even if I get fucking grouchy sometimes.

Just wanted to interject and say that Brody can contribute on old school wrestling topics. He's got an uncanny memory for tons of forgotten stuff from the territory days. But yeah, the threads of depravity and shock are useless. I haven't bothered reading his stuff on the lower half of the board in months. Quite frankly, I never understood the appeal. But then again, I never I got the appeal of Milky's schtick either (even though I do like him - Milky - as a poster).

I'm okay with the rule. And I'm still speechless about Willy Aybar. Who's he going to pick next round? Willie Bloomquist? Brian Anderson? Nick Punto?

I'm reading it now, and it's not. It's just people going: #248, WWE poster says this LOL THEY STOOPID AND SUCK. I think Slayer and Kinetic drop some funny lines in the beginning. Hoff returning to bitch me out is good. Ribbing Jericholic never gets old. At first, it was a light-hearted jab at some of the rampant stupidity that dominated the folder. After a while, it did turn into a bitchfest, which I find regrettable, but the end result was some positive changes in the WWE folder. A cross-forum call-out seems ridiculous in hindsight, but who knew it would spawn 48 pages of WWE folder discussion? And Bob, I've heard your stand-up... I don't think that we run parallel in our comedic tastes.

I went back to the first post in this thread. I find it funny that the first example of why the WWE Folder sucks actually makes Cheech look stupid, Matt Hardy is much better than Taker. The thread was originally called 100 Reasons Why The WWE Folder Sucks Dick and it was a parody of the 100 Reasons Why Matt Hardy Is Better Than the Undertaker thread. The first post doesn't make sense in the context of what the thread has become. As for your earlier comment, the first half of this thread is actually funny, nitpick douchiness aside. Now it's just people arguing about dumb WWE angles.
