  1. I remember when Big Show out did The Rock on SNL in 2000. "Hey Vince look at what I found! It's that Mango dude! Can I keep him?"
  2. No, you fools! I was talking about the fat guy with the goatee.
  3. There he is in all of his finished glory.
  4. ^ Which would be hilarious.
  5. Wrestlemania 2000 was originally going to be Austin vs. Rock, wasn't it? But Austin got injured.
  6. So sliding into the ring is considered a stunt?
  7. "She can't do that! Shoot her...or something." "Aaaah victory!" "What about the Senator from Naboo? Is she dead yet? I won't sign anything until I have her head on my desk." That's all I can think of. But yeah, most of the time, he's on the recieving end: Nute: "My lord, is that...legal?" Sidious: "I will make it legal!"
  8. What the hell are we talking about?
  9. I have never laughed so hard in my life. That and razazteca's reply in the Warrior thread have ensured that I will be sleeping for the entire day today since I've been up all night laughing. Thanks guys.
  10. If Vince died, it would go to the man who currently runs the WWE, Triple H.
  11. A lot fewer than in the past. Things are actually going better in Iraq. And I'm sure it's a coincidence that press coverage has tapered off. -=Mike I've noticed there hasn't been much press coverage for Bush lately either.
  12. Yes. Grievous is another pawn in Palpatine's game. My guess is Dooku and Sidious didn't tell him because he didn't need to know.
  13. O.J. Simpson says Johnnie Cochran was 'what's good about the law' By LINDA DEUTSCH, AP Special Correspondent Tuesday, March 29, 2005 (03-29) 17:18 PST , (AP) -- O.J. Simpson paid tribute to Johnnie Cochran on Tuesday, saying the attorney's belief in his innocence was key to the success of his team of lawyers in winning his acquittal on murder charges. "I've got to say I don't think I'd be home today without Johnnie," Simpson said by telephone from Florida after learning of Cochran's death in Los Angeles. Simpson noted other members of his defense including Robert Shapiro, but he said, "Without Johnnie running the ball, I don't think there's a lawyer in the world that could have run that ball. I was innocent, but he believed it." Cochran was 67 when he died Tuesday from a brain tumor. Simpson said he kept in touch with Cochran after his trial and last spoke to him several months ago when the attorney had just gotten out of the hospital. "He was always upspirited and he said he was just about to go to a Laker game. A lot of us knew what the situation was but you never saw Johnnie down or discouraged," he said. "It's always sobering when someone is gone who is vital to your life experience," Simpson said. "I have a heavy heart." Simpson said he had known Cochran since their daughters attended college together in Washington, D.C. "I first new Johnnie from church as a Christian man. I knew and loved and respected Johnnie long before my trial," he said. Simpson was charged with murdering his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman, in 1994. Simpson said that when he was facing the decision on hiring Cochran to join his defense team, "I knew that I wanted someone who would reflect me to the jury, and who better for that than Johnnie?" Simpson said he thought that the pinnacle of Cochran's career in terms of personal satisfaction was when he managed to get former Black Panther Elmer "Geronimo" Pratt freed in 1997 after being imprisoned for more than two decades on a wrongful murder conviction. "He once told me something happened with Geronimo Pratt and he wasn't going to let it happen to me. I always felt that when Geronimo got out that was the ultimate for him," Simpson said. "Johnnie is what's good about the law," Simpson said. "He loved the system. I always tell people if your kids or your loved ones got in trouble you would want Johnnie. Even his adversaries respected him." http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/state/2...an-simpson.html
  14. I take it you never saw the Katie Vick angle.
  15. Judging by Chapter 25, Grievous has no idea Palpatine = Sidious. Look at this dialogue: [after Grievous kills two Jedi] Grievous: You're mine, old man. Palpatine: I'm not afraid of you. You wouldn't dare harm the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. Whatever would your master say? Grievous: You're lucky they want you alive!
  16. CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'RE THE 5000TH POSTER TO REPEAT THE SAME REPLY! I'M NOT READING THE ENTIRE THREAD, ASSHOLE!!!! The thread is one PAGE FUCKING TWO. It's not like you're to fishing through a 10 page thread and reading every post on every page. It's on page TWO. If that's too much to read through, then maybe message boarding isn't for you. SO? I SAW THE QUESTION, REPLIED, AND LET THAT BE THAT! THAT'S THE WAY IT IS WITH ME SOMETIMES SO LEARN TO LOVE IT, SWEETCAKES!
  17. Apparently EvanderHolyfieldsMissingEar and CBright7831. Thanks for making me feel like a total asshole.
  18. To tell you the truth, not very much. I was excited last year, but this year is just seems sort of meh. Don't get me wrong, it's a great card, there are some unpredictable matches, but I'm just not excited for some reason. At least it isn't like WM19 where I didn't even know it was happening until that Sunday! That's probably because I was hardly watching wrestling then.
  19. And I taped the last Nitro, but the tape is now missing, and was possibly thrown away along with many others.
  20. I was a freshman in highschool. I remember we were on Spring Break, and it was a Friday. I used to frequent a aol chatroom called WrestleChat (which you could frequent by going to aol, typing in keywrod: wwf). We were talking, and talking, and talking about WCW going out of business and how Vince was considering buying it. Then, it cameon the website. On WWF.com it had the WWF and WCW logo and read "WWF purchases WCW". What a day.
  21. Yeah, treating women like shit is awesome. GO RANDY GO!

  23. I like both the movies and the cartoon series so I can't go one way or another.
