From imdb.com Holmes Dropped from 'Batman' Sequel Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman have signed to star in a second Batman movie, but love interest Katie Holmes has been dropped. Movie bosses are thrilled with the response to Batman Begins - it took $46.9 million in its first weekend at the US box office - and have snapped up the film's stars for a sequel. Bale as Batman was the first to put pen to paper, followed by Caine as butler Alfred and Freeman as Bruce Wayne's business associate Lucius Fox. But Holmes won't reprise her role as district attorney Rachel Dawes - reportedly because Warner Bros is angry her engagement to Tom Cruise has stolen media attention away from the movie. A source tells Pagesix.Com, "Everyone is in agreement that the movie's strength is with Christian Bale, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman." Adding of Holmes, "She won't be in the sequel... the next romantic interest will be a much stronger actress. Warner is happy that people are now focusing on who'll be playing the Joker rather than Katie and Tom."

That's strange, Singer also cameo'd in one of Jackson's Kong Production Diary. Here it is, as a matter of fact.
-
I've known about Peter's weight loss since last September when I watched the first production diary for King Kong on Kong Is King.net. He was halfway there, and by Christmas break, he had achieved his goal. He is skinny now and looks much, much healthier. Anyway, I think I'll skip this. It's pretty much the same shit Lucas has talked about on the DVDs, etc. I'm in full Batman mode now, and have even considered changing my Nute Gunray avi to something Batman-like.

We're suppossed to cheer the fact that Kane is back as "The Monster" insted of "The Emo" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why am I supposed to feel sorry for Kane anyway? He pretty much forced Lita into pregnancy and marraige. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why do people ask this every week? It's wrestling. And yes, that is a simple enough answer. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because I can. -

Reservoir Dogs True Romance Batman: The Animated Series - Vol. 2 Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
-
This is true. I was talking to a friend saying the sequel will contain Batman, James Gordon, and Harvey Dent going after The Joker. He asked if they had got someone to play The Joker, and I said "Not yet." He then said "I don't know if I could accept anyone other than Jack playing The Joker."

The numbers for Batman Begins really upsets me. This was a great movie, and the sequel looked promising, but now with those numbers, I don't think we will get a sequel.
-
I concur.

In a deleted scene, Posion Ivy kills her.
-
So when should expect the sequel out? 2007 or 2008? I know Batman Begins came out relatively fast. It was greenlight in November of 2003, they began filming in May of 2004, and it was released in June 15, 2005. Only a year and a half.

Why does an ancient Mayan religion saying the world is going to end make you want to go to a Christian church? I'm not going to get all anti-Christianity or anything but that makes no sense. Edit: Also, I've never heard of the Mayan calendar being off. I've always heard that it was closer to what is correct than our current one. So 2012 sounds much better than 2006. Add that to the fact that the name of the so called prophet saying shit about Pope's and shit isn't named. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True, true.

Some poster posted this on another board where I made the same topic: To which I replied:

Favorite scenes: + The Joker's calling card + The Gotham City chase + Bruce's training + "I swear to God" "Swear to me!" + "There is no other help left" *Batmobile zooms by* + Lucius Fox showing Bruce the ends and outs of The Tumbler + Lucius Fox: "Oh, you didn't get the memo" + Almost any scene with Scarecrow + Any scene with Alfred

Just got back: HOLY SHIT! I don't want to get into detail right now, but this movie was amazing. I must ask this question, but am I the only one who marked out when Gordon handed The Joker's calling card to Batman at the end? Rejoice! Batman has returned!!!!!

I remember seeing this when that came out. Fucking hilarious.

I'm sorry, but this warrants some discussion

Ironically enough, Austin's character (Guard Dunham) in The Longest Yard is a racist redneck also. Way to branch out with your acting skills, Austin.
