Dodgers need another starter, thanks to that fuckhead Jason Schmidt. I'm confident in the playoffs with Brad Penny and Derek Lowe, I'm fine with Randy Wolf but his shoulder is always a concern. Chad Billingsly has great stuff but I don't have complete confidence in him yet. He seems to get rattled too easily so I'd like to see them get another arm if possible. The offense was a concern but with the emergence of Matt Kemp and James Loney I think they can leave the offense as it is. All they need to do is figure out a way to get Juan Pierre on the DL so Kemp and Andre Ethier can both start, then drive Nomar out to the middle of nowhere and leave him there and bring up Andy LaRoche at 3B.

Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart are 2 of the lowest drawing champions of all time......they were treated well as champion and didn't do good numbers. You can say it's the time frame all that....but it's still there. i hate when people say this..... It was a different time and wrestling just wasnt popular...The stars just aligned just right for wrestling to get to the levels it was when the Rock and Stone Cold were king and WCW was ruling the wrestling world But the point of the discussion is that regardless of context, those two were on top when business was down, but it was up for the larger superstars. Diesel was a big dude and he's also the lowest drawing WWE Champion of all time. I think that's a reflection of the popularity of the business at the time and not the physical size of the champion. Very good point that people tend to gloss over. Yokozuna as well.

I think it's kind of ironic that Vick had dogs killed due to poor performance. If the same thing applied to football, he'd have been put down years ago.

I don't know what I need though. Like I said, it's going to mostly just be for gaming and watching movies/sports. I don't know a lot about HDTV's but from what I gather, the best quality I can get for the price I'm looking for is 1080i, which is fine with me. Plus, Samsung seems like a pretty trusted name, so I figured that TV I posted would really work out well for me.

I do want to get the absolute most out of my PS3, but not if it drains my funds, so I'm content with getting A LARGE PORTION OF WHAT IS IT IS CAPABLE OF if it's more cost effective. It will be in my bedroom and screensize is not of huge importance to me. Meaning, I'm fine with TV's under 40 inches, in the low 30's, possibly as low as maybe a 27" (but that's as low as I'd go, something in the 30's would be preferable). I guess basically what I'm saying is, I don't need a big TV.

I think I've pretty much decided on a PS3 with the price drop in the 60 gig, but Sony's TV's seem to be a little bit out of my price range.

Can I get some opinions on this TV..Samsung SlimFit 30" Widescreen HDTV I don't know much about HDTV and am not really jumping into it hardcore or anything, I just want something that I can play video games and watch movies on and that falls right into my price range (which is trying to stay under $700-800 if at all possible). Any thoughts, or better TV's that can be had for around the same price?
