I guess that whole, "if they let Cena rap and be 'edgy' again he'll get over" thing is dead, considering he did it tonight still got the shit booed out of him.

Did anyone here know Danny Basham is on RAW? I just was on WWE.com and saw him listed on the roster. I honestly had no earthly idea he was even in the company anymore.
-
I think someone forgot to tell West Virginia that shitty conferences like the Big East and Pac-10 suck and could NEVER compete with the mighty SEC.
-
I bet RAW will end with everyone who's in the Elimination Chamber in the ring brawling

I'd say this was a great idea, if it wasn't for how Edge (a) can't seem to stay uninjured, and (b) had all his heat sucked away after his feud with Matt Hardy. Yeah, I love the idea, just not with Edge. If Wrestlemania ends with him as the champion A LOT of people would be pissed.

I saw one online that a fan made of Sting to the "My Sacrifice" Creed song, I thought it was pretty awesome.

Interesting.. never thought about that. I figured what happened on monday was leading to HBK vs. Vince, but I could really see another "screwjob" happening.

For the first time since the brand extension it looks like there is a very good chance that both of the champions heading into Wrestlemania will be faces. I believe the last time a face went into WM as the champion and defended it against a heel was Wrestlemania 11 with Diesel vs. HBK, but that wasn't even the main event. The Rock-Stone Cold at WM 17 had a face as the champion but they were both faces. Batista is the World Heavyweight Champion on Smackdown and most likely won't lose the title before then. He isn't even really feuding on anyone on his own show right now. I guess there's a rumor that he's going to have a match with Kane on PPV, but I can't see any way he drops the title to Kane. A possible match for him is vs. The Undertaker, which would probably main event. While that obviously wouldn't be the greatest technical wrestling match of all time, it would probably be the most intriguing main event in quite some time because both have so much to lose, and you really have no idea who's going to win, unlike most years. Then we have Cena on RAW, and while its still possible that he loses the title in the Elimination Chamber, I'm not counting on it. The only guy besides Cena who could possibly win it, IMO, is Kurt Angle. But then who would he defend it against at WM? Unless they have Cena win the RR and drag their feud out two more months (and I hope they don't), I can't see it happening. There's really no other face on the roster big enough for Angle to defend against, so I see Cena retaining. So then who does he face at WM? Unless they bring over someone from Smackdown like Randy Orton, it will probably be Triple H. I guess Edge could use his MITB contract, but that will probably happen at the Royal Rumble, because John Cena vs. Edge doesn't exactly scream "Wrestlemania" to me. So HHH vs. Cena.. a lot of people are tired of Cena as champion and want him to drop the title, but most people don't want HHH to be the one to win it. Very odd, IMO, I guess because I'm so used to seeing the babyface win the Royal Rumble and then go on the 2 month title chase to Wrestlemania.

I'm sure she'll be quite popular with her sons friends.

I just had a great match in my season with Shawn Michaels. Steve Austin became the GM and wants me to find the Smackdown "mole" on the RAW roster, so he put me in a submission match with Chris Benoit. It went 35 minutes and I bloodied his face with like 4 superkicks, and I got out of 3 Crossface's. I finally won it with a sleeper hold. Best match I've had on the game so far.

USC vs. the 85 Bears Who wins?

I could write fantasy sports stuff, although mostly just baseball and football. I'd really like to just write a general sports column though, because I figure there are already a lot of people focusing on the particular sports.

With good reason, that should be a penalty. But then again, Michigan got buttfucked by calls the entire game.

I thought about this when the story about Tony Dungy's son committing suicide came out. And I'm not trying to downplay whatever problems he was going through because I don't know him and don't know what his life was like, and I do feel bad about what happened. Now, I'm sure everyone here went through the normal teenage problems.. breaking up with girls, not getting the grades you wanted, peer pressure, wanting to rebel from your parents, etc. Now years later you look back on that and realize how stupid it was to get so mad or depressed over things like that. But why does it seem like so many teen suicides are because of those reasons? it seems so many times when you hear about a teenager committing suicide it's over something like breaking up with a girl, or not being accepted by people at school..just such petty stuff. And theneveryone feels sorry for them instead of realizing how selfish they were for leaving their friends and family like that. Meanwhile, you hardly hear any suicide stories about teens who are REALLY going through problems. Being homeless, living in rough neighborhoods, not being able to afford school, having parents in jail or dead, being abused by a family member, etc. It seems like those people always fight to make it out and get a better life for themselves So, why do you think that is? Is it just the survival of the fittest? Are many of them just too mentally weak?

Batista/Mark Henry? WHAT?! The Return of Fit Finley? WHAT?!

Well I got the game yesterday and I hate the season mode already. I started one with Kurt Angle and it's just dumb, I'm in the whole "who ran over Teddy Long" angle, and then they had me in some love triangle with RVD and John Cena, fighting over Torrie Wilson. Why does Kurt Angle even give a shit about Torrie Wilson!? Why is he teaming up with RVD and Cena and yet still a heel? I liked how the other games gave you options of different routes to take in your storylines instead of just going down one path. JBL revealed he had a lifetime contract with Torrie, but would put it on the line in an Iron Man Match, so Angle accepts (and I get no say in the matter!).. so I face off in an Iron Man Match with JBL, not for his WWE Title, but for the contract of Torrie f'ing Wilson. gay.

I got the Sportster with the Boombox, I really like it. It costs a little more then the Starmate but it's good. What I really need is a portable player, but Sirius' current portable player is awful, so I guess I'll have to wait.
-
1.) I think the boom box is probably better, but the reception inside of a house is never great unless you have your antenna right by a window. 2.) You need to have it plug into some type of stereo that has an auxilery plug (it will just say AUX on it), if you don't then you either have to A.) buy one B.) wait until the boombox for the Starmate comes out in February C.) get the Sportster with Boombox.

Someone else made a good point earlier in the thread.. how young does the guy have to be to beat the Undertaker and make you all happy? Batista could certainly be a headliner for the next 5 or 6 years. Yes he is 40, but it's not like he has years and years of punishment on his body, he hasn't been wrestling for very long if I recall. Plus, with his style, he doesn't put himself at as much of a risk for injury as other guys do (and yes I realize he just recently got injured, but everyone gets injured at some point or another) And, he really doesn't even need to win at WM, because as I said earlier I'm of the thinking that 'Takers streak is never going to end. So 'Taker wins at WM, continue the feud to SS where Batista wins the belt back.

My CD-RW drive is randomly opening while I have my computer on, then I'll shut it, and the cycle will continue like 4 or 5 more times. It usually happens right when I turn my computer on, but not always. how can I stop this?
-
1. ) Does this mean Batista was never really injured? 2.) Does this mean the Batista-Orton feud that's been talked about for the last year is not happening? 3.) Does this mean the brand extension is over? 4.) Why does everyone assume 'Taker is ever going to lose at Wrestlemania? It seems very possible to me that he would just leave with a win at whatever his final Wrestlemania is and retire undefeated.

Let's just say that whenever "Sugar we're goin' down" by Fall Out Boy came on, I didn't turn off the radio. I'm so ashamed.

I REALLY wanted to see this fight a few years ago, now I don't give a shit.
