So for the last two days this "Live and Direct" show with Rita Cosby has been in Afghanistan with the WWE Wrestlers interviewing them at the army bases and showing clips of them with the soldiers and stuff like that. It's been pretty good, I'm not sure if they're doing it tommorrow or not but tune in just incase. They had a ring set up and said they are having a card on Friday for the soldiers there.. is this something that's going to be taped and shown in place of either RAW or Smackdown? Also.. one funny/offensive (depending on who you are) tidbit - when she was interviewing the wrestlers they all were all talking about how they felt honored to be there, and how much fun they had a the army base, etc. Then she gets to Carlito and he totally stays in character and goes "I'm sure all these soldiers are happy that Carlito came here to see them. Carlito is happy to see the women though, and I'm sure you're happy to see Carlito, Rita". She kind of gives an uncomfortable laugh and then goes back to talking to JBL. EDIT: They're in Afghanistan, but I can't change the thread title.

I'm not surprised, this really reminded me of an attitude era show. Right down to the dumping Bischoff in the trash truck at the end and driving off, very reminicent of Austin with the beer truck/Angle with the milk truck. Although it wasn't as good as an attitude era show, it gave you that feeling and I think that's why most people stuck with it.

On the commercial it definitely looks like Shawn Michaels, but I can't imagine that he could have done this without someone reporting it on the 'net already.

If the Devil Rays can turn Julio Lugo into Andy Marte, I will love them forever for getting Marte out of the division. I don't understand why people assume some double turn with Cena and Angle is going to happen. Kurt Angle isn't someone who fans want to see as a face, they like to boo him. He's really in a weird position, he's like the wrestler who every fan respects and realizes is "legit", but they still boo him because it's "fun". However during the course of matches sometimes he gets face reactions because A.) he has loyal fans who cheer him on B.) some fans like to intentionally cheer for all the heels to try and look like a badass. C.) fans over the course of the match are so enthralled by his skills that they are forced into rooting for him. C.) some of the people from group B just cheer whoever is facing Cena (like in the Jericho-Cena feud) because they want Cena to lose. That's just what Angle is and what he'll likely always be.
