  1. 42 or somewhere around there. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not that old then to be seen as a fluke. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, age has nothing to do with it. 1) He had the title for less than a week 2) and jobbed it in ten seconds 3) on a non-televised house show 4) to a guy who hadn't even been in the title picture for quite some time.
  2. The entire Hogan-HBK debate, as distilled by DVDVR's Dean Rasmussen.
  3. You could put over Cena's work ethic by showing a Desire video showcasing how he's always gunned for the top from day one in the WWE. Put over the fact that, though he didn't grow up onthe streets, he's paid his dues and battled his way to the top of the WWE.
  4. You saved your own life, man.
  5. If they tease us with an Anthology commercial again I will be PISSED.
  6. Bret Hart namedrop.
  7. HBK making a pretty reasonable case for himself here...
  8. Say, how tall is Hogan, legit? IIRC HBK is 6'2'' and Hogan didn't look much taller.
  9. Instead of pyro when he posed, HBK instead got two podiums and Jerry Lawler.
  10. I could go for a Konnan music video over that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd prefer a Disco Inferno video myself. "Oil of Olay, all day, every day!"
  11. Damn, WWE better give the Pittsburgh crowd a HBK/Jericho vs. Hogan/Cena dark match so they get their money's worth.
  12. Odd seeing Cena in the polo shirt there. Damn that little kid for no-selling the Boston Crab in the flashback! Rick Martel must be so pissed right now.
  13. If Snitsky did more delay-oriented moves (like the DBS Half Hour Suplex he just did), he'd be infinitely more interesting to watch and would have some variety to his moveset.
  14. Seeing them live two weeks ago, I preferred Romeo since he just seems to be a more natural cocky heel. Like when the Heart Throbs played 'rock, paper, scissors' to see who started first. Antonio lost, so he started against Rosey. While he was on the apron before the bell rang, Romeo just casually turned to the front row fans (who were talking about this) and said "Dude, paper covers rock" like they were his friends or something. He just seemed to be having a lot more fun than Antonio was. His charisma isn't forced, like Antonio's 'I am actually Brian Christopher' exagerrated heelishness. Oh, and he had a better rental car. I wonder if he had to pay extra for those rims, though...

  16. Um, the sites for Armageddon, NYR, and No Way Out haven't been revealed yet, so they aren't listed. Only the date for Armageddon has been revealed (December 18).
  17. I think the number of fans who only watch indies and don't watch any WWE or TNA is few and far between. Basically, this idea is an extension of the talent exchanges WWE did with SMW and ECW, and I don't recall either of those companies posing a serious threat to WWE's popularity.
  18. Well, Tatanka did OK on RAW and people remember his gimmick, so it makes sense to pick him up. However, I'd get him a Legends deal while they're at it, because I doubt creative is going to find anything for him to do (like Gangrel).
  19. TNA has no desire to help the NWA. They only wanted the NWA titles.
  20. I don't there's a promoter in the world who would refuse to work with WWE unless they hate making money and being successful.
  21. Bear in mind, this show was sold on "The Match Made In Heaven/The Match Made In Hell", with the opposing images of the Savage wedding and this match. I'm glad they remembered that tagline.
  22. Well, he's a decent guy who can work heel or face depending on the opponent. I'd have him beat London at SSlam, have London beat Big Vito at No Mercy, then have London finally get the big win at SSeries.
