  1. In 40 years, it won't be Rudy or LOTR that defines Astin's career but Encino Man. "Hey it's that kid from the Goonies! He got fat..."
  2. I have the Decepticon symbol on my right arm...if I was going to regret it, I wouldn't have got it. The Transformers were my all-time favorite thing growing up. on my left arm, scrolling vertically, I have my daughter's name in a style similar to the NY on Yankees merchandise. I'll be getting something on my right arm above the Decepticon tatt that represents my soon-to-arrive son.
  3. 2 guys walk into a bar, the 3rd guy ducks
  4. It may not be 5 mics, but if you haven't by now, I suggest listening to Sticky Fingaz (from Onyx) solo album "Black Trash: The Autubiography of Kirk Jones"...I just recently discovered it (read: heard about it and stole it off the net) and have listened to it numerous times now.
  5. okay, how about the episode where one of those Divas was in the shower and he was stripped down to his speedos? I know I've seen him in that shirt a few times because I remember being disgusted with the sweat spots. ah well, bigger things to contemplate.
  6. that's okay, there are plenty of local trade-in franchises around that will get my money...most of them get my money above EB/Gamestop anyway.
  7. didn't read it...I'm saying there was something similar from this same website about ROTS.
  8. doesn't Angle have any other shirts? I swear I've seen him on WWE TV at least 3 times with that same shirt...remember the face off last year between him, Batista, HBK and HHH when they were all dressed up and he had the nastiest sweat spots ever on that shirt?
  9. I've never understood the point to the Vanhalen gimmick.
  10. yeah, I've caught previews on the tail end of Big Love episodes...I'm sure I'll give it a try as it will run back to back with another show I watch, Entourage.
  11. didn't this happen with Revenge Of The Sith as well?
  12. jm, Shawn Michaels had turned heel by Rumble 92, that match was on Rumble 91, I believe, but don't quote me on that. He had turned heel just prior to the Rumble.
  13. I feel that way about all the changes. Honestly, I could care less about the original, or the SE, or whatever else. They are all the same movies to me. I remember reading that list of the stuff they changed when the DVDs were coming out that got the whole internet community bitching and thinking to myself, "I wouldn't have noticed one thing on this list if someone hadn't told me." let's see... -added digital background things in ANH...not a big deal, a few silly things (the little robot taunting the other robot until he gets smacked in the head, the jawa falling off whatever it was he was riding), but pretty easy to overlook. -Han shooting first...while I can understand the way it changes Solo's character around, it's not THAT big a deal because he still acts like an asshole during the other parts. Didn't phase me at all. -The Jabba scene...not a big deal at all. -scenes of the snow creature that captures Luke...no big deal. -the conversation between Vader and the Emperor changed...come on, let's bitch about something else. -Teamu Morrisson (sorry, I butchered that spelling) doing Boba's voice...I actually dug it. -Jedi Rock....okay...this sucked, I'll give you that. -Sarlac Worm...yeah I didn't dig it, but it wasn't that horrible. -scenes of various planets celebrating...I thought it was a cool touch. -Hayden Christiansen...I didn't hate it like I thought I would. -nub nub song...like I said, didn't even remember it to notice it was gone. what else was there?
  14. I don't even remember it.
  15. I'm Frapprin
  16. stupid double post
  17. Master P's Ghetto D, to me, is the album that really jump started that whole Southern Crunk crap, so it could warrant an arguement for 4.5 or 5 mics...plus it was actually really good on top of that. One of the few Crunk albums I can listen to, 400 Degreez being another.
  18. Good call, DA. many may not agree, but Westside Connection's 1st album was fantastic...maybe not 5 stars, but pretty damn close.
  19. Bob, are you in school for any kind of degree that can get you a Hollywood reporter type gig? I think you'd do a great job with that...something celebrity related.
  20. yeah, Chris had that look like "Uh Ryan, I think you need to re-read that card." Here's hoping Elliot doesn't choke his ass off the next two weeks...and you know Taylor is probably realizing he has to stop fucking around (which he's been doing the past 3 weeks, IMO) and get serious.
  21. soup and Pauly Shore are more interesting than Leena...? I dunno?
  22. It Was Written was better then Stillmatic. WTF man, the world is in chaos...another point I completely agree with.
  23. Pauly Shore was one of the main selling points for Encino Man...no one really knew Brendan Fraser yet and Sean Astin was known as "hey, isn't that the kid from Goonies? He got fat!" In fact, that was my response to seeing him in Like Father, Like Son, Toy Soldiers and Rudy. I didn't really notice him until LOTR. LOL, wikipedia says George Of The Jungle was Brendan Fraser's breakout role...I remember him more for Encino Man, School Ties, Bedazzled and the Mummy than I do George Of The stupid Jungle.
  24. we had a teacher that did the old "oops I dropped my pen, can you pick that up for me" trick all the time.
