I too find this hard to believe. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> APC really took a very hard tumble in talent with their newest album. It's really really bad with only a few bright spots. Course Mars Volta isn't much better lately but better than the sludge APC is tossing out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Disagreed. How do you take a 'tumble in talent'? Emotive was faily good stuff and I see very little wrong with Thirteenth Step. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Emotive was nothing but an album of horrible covers. If it weren't for "Passive" and "Blah blah blah War drum", I'd be completely disappointed and even "War Drum" isn't that good (original version of the song is about 800 times better, jesus). Thirteenth Step was great, Mer De Noms was awesome, and then this was like a child born to a couple who lived on top of a toxic waste pit, next door to a nuclear reactor while the father worked with medical waste and the mother worked with chemical weapons. It was a horrible backstep. Every band has one of these albums but it was downright disappointing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> See I knew there was a reason why I haven't picked up "Passive" yet...plus after "The Spaghetti Incident?" I try to stay away from cover albums...

I know HBK isn't the best in the world, I hope that wasn't what you two thought I was implying...maybe Iggy was, but not me...I don't think he's even the best in the WWE or was at any point in is career (his 3 big years: 95-Bret/Hakushi were better workers, 96-Bret/Austin/Mankind overall were better, 97-Austin/Bret/Owen/Rock were better overall)...but between not currently having a home comp. and other financial obligations which I don't think I need to discuss as well as lack of time between work and family life , no I don't have access to other things...I've admitted that I like the stuff I've seen outside of the WWE... EDIT: I have seen When Worlds Collide...good stuff, but again hard to follow without constant access to its participants...

See, I don't know...again I just think the show was so well hyped and so well built and featured a pretty damn good card from top to bottom that the entire show itself was the draw...perhaps I'm wrong, but I wouldn't be able to sleep well at night knowing that 1,000,000 people bought this show based on HHH/Batista alone...
-
the daughter was 16... EDIT: or do you mean the actor's real age? Anyway, realistically, he'd be closer to 40 if she was 16, but anything's possible...

I think it's inaccurate to say WM21 drew based on HHH/Batista alone...the buildup to every single match on that card was fantastic and made folks really want to see this thing from top to bottom...I wanted to see HBK/Angle and truely wanted to see if Orton would be the one to end UT's streak...the MITB match intrigued me more than HHH/Batista because we knew what the outcome of the title match would be...hell that match was more predictable than Cena's win...

LIVING THE STEREOTYPE~!

yeah, APC...Mer De Noms is a fantastic album, one I can listen to over and over again....13th Step is pretty "eh", though for some odd reason I really like that song "The Nurse That Loved Me"...
-
I really don't want to see Austin/Hogan...if it was 98 or 99, yeah, but not at this point...
-
if I may ask, what were you doing? EDIT: oh one more question...you've been canned at various points 3 years in a row now? Damn that's a long resume...
-
I have no clue, probably because they know you can have zero talent and still get a paycheck...
-
Oh no. I mean WM21 was second only to WM17 in terms of number of buys. So there's no reason why a WM card with Hogan v Cena couldnt top that, provided we have some other good matches like HBK v Rock. But see, the thing is, that kinda cancels out your case because there'd HAVE to be another "super match" to convince more people to by it rather than the fact that it has Hogan v. Cena on the card...otherwise, it'll just have a steady buyrate like the rest of the WMs...I bought this year's WM for the solid card and pretty damn good buildup for most of the matches...I didn't but WM18 because it didn't seem very appealing and Rock/Hogan wasn't enough to make me say, hmmm okay I'll get it...

hey we have cows not goats...this is the plains, not the mountains, dammit!
-
ohhhh well, our fellas try to mimmick the down south crunky-ness....crunk is bad enough (though there are a FEW decent acts out there), but the way these guys do it is way too poser-ish....here's a good example, ever heard of that group Crime Mob? Yeah, shitty...most of the stuff here is along that level of awfulness...
-
That's a joke....right???
-
Damn fine question, sir...to that I say: I have no freaking clue....uhhhhh move him to Smackdown and pretend nothing ever happened? I never understood why they were never happy with just pushing him as an unstoppable monster like they did with Batista and Lesnar...I mean, he can be booked to squash jobbers/lower-carders and can wrestle well enough to make people be able to sit through a Kane/Angle, Kane/Benoit etc. etc. match without resorting to retard-ery...
-
I enjoyed Summerslam, after the benoit flash victory and the badly booked Edge/Hardy match, the rest of the card was pretty good...nothing spectacular, not too many sports entertainment moments (well except for Rey/Eddie, but the match was decent), just some well booked stuff...solid card...

Kane has survived far worse than this, he always remains over...Kane will be just fine...
-
not only those, I've had my digital camera for a few months now and have yet to take a significant amount of pictures or get any developed...
-
I won't do opening acts for rap concerts, I'll do my best to plan my arrival for afterwards....not sure about the rest of the country, but they always bring in some local jackass that thinks he's the GOAT and there are no GOATs here in Omaha...
-
case in point, Kelly Clarkson's recent live, non-lipsynched pop performance at the VMAs...dreadful...
-
you heard me right....errrr read me right....fucker....
-
Saturn is one of those guys I wouldn't tangle with in the real world...Tazz, Angle and Benoit also come to mind...now guys like Orton and HHH I could see fucking with...
-
oh I'm quite certain the horrible Unforgiven buyrate will negate the extra buys SSlam got...
-
Thanks to Messier for giving the Rangers the only shining moment they'll probably ever have for another 80 years or whatever the drought was...
-
Well, on top of that, who really cares about a Cena/Angle match other than the fact that Angle can get a good match out of him...haven't we already seen this fued on the OTHER brand this year already?
