I recall in one match against Victoria she went for the move to duck a clothesline and Victoria elbow dropped her in the gut. I thought that was pretty swank. Elix Skipper does the move much faster and slicker. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> yeah that's a pretty swank counter...I haven't been exposed to Elix Skipper to have seen that, but from what I've heard about him, I can take your word for it...

The Carver is certainly one of the creepier characters I've seen in a television series...the fact that someone like that could realistically exist doesn't calm the creeps...so when do we start predicting who it will be? It's probably something stupid like Matt (Sean's "son")...

does anyone else find Trish's "Matrix" ducking manuever to be, I don't know, kind of unbelievable? I mean, in most cases, when a person fires off a clothesline, it's very quick and very precise...when she does it, it's sooooo slooooow and totally unbelievable, you'd think she wouldn't have the time necessary to arch herself back before the clothesline hit her...they really should do away with it...maybe it's just me, but there's just something about that whole sequence that doesn't look right...

other than nostalgia and a number of good matches, it's hard to go back and watch 80s WWF since getting so used to Attitude, post-Attitude product...

the NFL, like pretty much any sport, doesn't get exciting until playoff races begin or if your favorite team is doing well...the jury is still out on Buffalo (though they aren't looking that great, right now) so we'll see, if they start losing more games, I'll probably tune out until the last 5 or 6 weeks of the season...NBA and MLB seasons are so long and tedious, even when my teams ARE doing well, it's hard for me to watch until close to playoff time...

I stopped buying PPVs after Summerslam 2000...prior to that, with the exception of a few IYH's, I never bought anything outside of the BIG 5 (BIG 4 right now)...This year, I purchased WM 21 and Summerslam, kinda kicking myself for not getting the Rumble (my favorite match and it was actually a pretty good one)...While 35 to 40 bucks is too much for a PPV, I don't exactly felt like I wasted my money on those two PPVs...the cards were solid and both had pretty good build ups...
