  1. anyone remember the Power Rangers game on SNES? That was pretty decent...it was a side scroller beat em up...
  2. I haven't seen Ballistic, but Van Helsing may very well be the single worst movie I have ever EVER seen...
  3. ah yes Rachel Nichols...yummy...unless you mean the fat one that covered the Kobe trial???
  4. in response to Iggy's post: I don't see them dogging out Rey like that, especially after burning the past couple of months showing how strong he is over Guerrero...whether he actually ever holds the title or not, Rey is going to be in that upper-tier soon, if he's not already...having Brock kill him would completely eliminate everything they've built into him so far... my prediction: JBL wins the new Smackdown belt; Batista comes over with the world title and challenges JBL for the "REAL" title; Heel Brock Version: Batista wins, Brock comes outta nowhere with the F5 and a challenge, he eventually wins the belt and the fued; Face Brock Version: subsititute Batista with JBL...BAM! sold, baby!
  5. good ol Stephen A. Smith, nothing says ratings like "loudmouth biligerent black man"!
  6. Ewing is hated by anyone who is not a Knicks fan, he never gets respect anywhere anytime...
  7. I found it humerous that the guy was looking for his true love yet kept hitting on skanky "Girls Gone Wild" rejects...yeah, true love, buddy...I also thought it was funny how everyone in the house kept watching the one guy fuck the slut he picked up that night...
  8. the arcade version of Renegade was quite decent... oh I got a game for you fuckers, Elevator Action baby!
  9. ^ yeah that dude was the epitome of what a tool is... oh and the best True Life was "I'm A Pornstar"...
  10. I'm curious as to why Wes and Nehemiah get into it...I don't mean to come across as biased on this, but I kinda sorta think Nehemiah would win in that battle... oh and it's not a RW season without a lesbian scene between two chicks who really aren't lesbians becuase, you know that's TEH HAWT~!
  11. ^ agreed...
  12. I owned the Genesis version and had no issues at all, it was as close to a true blue arcade translation as you could get...ah well, personal opinions and all...
  13. how the hell do YOU have access to ROH stuff and I don't? the net? tape trading?
  14. I don't even see size as any reason to not give Rey the belt for at least a few months as crazy over as he is and pretty much always has been...I've mentioned it ad naseum, but I think they could pull some decent buyrates in with that guy as champ for no more than 6 months...of course now that Angle and Cena have moved to Raw, that may no longer be the case...
  15. yeah that's what I mean...they had a bunch of GOOD players, but no second star to compliment Hakeem, yet they were able to get it done that season...what I do wonder, though is if any of the current Pistons could be held or someday be held in that same category as a guy like Hakeem? I think it's too late for Rasheed, Ben doesn't score enough, I don't think Billups or Prince will be THAT guy, but perhaps Rip?
  16. I've been meaning to latch onto this show, but for some reason I never get a chance to catch it...the only HBO shows I've faithfully followed were Oz, Carnivale and currently, Entourage... question, did they kill off the character played by the kid from The Waterboy (the kicker that befriended Adam Sandler)?
  17. I agree, the WWE survived prior to late 92 on nothing BUT house shows and the OCCASIONAL SNME...in today's world, yeah they have to have 1 or 2 weekly shows, but there's no reason why shit can't happen during house shows...hell the title swtiched from Savage to Flair to Bret Hart during house shows in 92, Backlund to Nash in 95...any others?
  18. Roy, we're in for a long season...the Knicks most likely will take big men in the draft and start them right away and we know how bad that's gonna go...is there a reason why Isiah is hesistant on bringing big men over, maybe he's banking on the draft alone, I dunno?
  19. I'd go as far as to say Olajuwon carried the Rockets to the title in 94 without the help of another "STAR" player...I can't recall another star player on that team, just a whole bunch of role players...am I wrong? was there another big star on that team at the time? I can't recall...sure he had Horry and Cassell and Kenny Smith, but again, those guys were just role players...he didn't have a Kobe or a Pippen or a Stockton, etc. to play off of...
  20. okay, thinking that Double Dragon was a BAD game in the first place should be an immediate ban!!!! Sure, maybe in TODAY'S world it's lame, but any kid growing up in the 80s knows how kick ass that game was!
  21. I remember when Pit Fighter first came out, my local arcade had people lines up to play...the final boss was that direct rip off of Humongous from the Road Warrior, he had that one hit kill (he would hoist you in the air by the neck and then snap it)...then you had to face each other if it was a multiplayer game after you beat him...it also features a premise later used in Def Jam: Fight For NY with the audeince getting involved in the fight if you get too close...
  22. ^ that's my best guess, JBL wins this new belt and Batista retains at Vengenace only to get drafted to Smackdown...
