I don't think Masters will win, but I don't rule it out, if only because Vince and company are hell bent on pushing him to the moon. Do I think Shawn would do two PPV jobs in a row? Well, people didn't think Hunter would do two jobs in row in the main event of the biggest PPV of the year. Granted, Hunter did his jobs for different reasons than Shawn would do his, but the basic premise is the same. And I have "watched this man for the past decade", and I've seen how he and his student, Hunter, have worked when it comes to jobs. They are more likely to job to people who are no threat to their spot, or to job in a manner that, not only doesn't hurt them, but might also hurt their opponent. This is a perfect chance for Shawn to not only do a job to someone who is zero threat to his spot, but in the process gain political capital when it comes time to do a job that really matters, to someone who is a threat to his spot. By doing a job that doesn’t matter and doesn’t elevate someone, Shawn has ammo to get out of doing a job that would matter and that would elevate someone.

If Vince is determined to push Masters to the moon, he'll win. Plus, Masters is absolutely no threat to Michaels spot, and if there is one type of wrestler than Shawn, Hunter, etc, don't mind jobbing for it's people who aren't a threat. It gets them out of the jobs to people who are.

I think the finish to the match will be very interesting. WWE are clearly very high on Masters, despite the guy being about as over as Kanye West at a Republican convention. They've given him a Superpush for almost nine months, and it's shown little if any effect and they can't deny it any longer. The finish to the Shawn v Masters will show whether they are still determined to push Masters down our throats, or if they realize he isn't cutting it and are going to scale back on the push. If they are still determined to shove Masters down our throats, then expect a fairly clean, if not totally clean, win for Masters.

I think we'll get a few weeks of effort and then they'll lost interest in trying hard and we'll be back to crap.

I wonder if Shawn would refuse to play Satan in his church Christmas play.

Shawn feels turning heel would make baby Jesus cry. Or conflict with his ‘religious beliefs’. It was one of those.

Hogan is one of the most obvious bladers in wrestling. I remember a tag match in IWA-MS where Ian Rotten and some other guy, I think Mitch Page, are brawling at ringside and Rotten hits Page in the forehead with a chair three times, and after each shot Page does the most obvious blade job ever as he just wildly swipes away at his forehead. Ian has done some very obvious blade jobs of his own as well.

Shawn's not happy with what 'creative' had for him? Now he knows how 99% of the roster feels.

Is Shawn Michaels this generation's Ric Flair?

We had, but some people evidently aren't taking it very well that people don't agree with their opinion. If we ignore him and others of his ilk they’ll find something else to throw tantrums about. -
Bulldog was a decent worker, who could be carried to something really great if he was in there with a super worker. TC knows his wrestling history, and he understands wrestling itself pretty well, so that makes him a quality poster. He doesn't seem to post here anymore, which is a shame, as TSM needs more quality posters. Michrome is the ROH of posters; hard working, a quality product, but probably wouldn't work that well when translated to the WWE stage due to the lack of fizz and bang. Only Ghandi could carry off wearing a diaper as an adult and still look cool. Shelley is a good worker, and he definitely deserves a good run in TNA. He probably isn't at that top level, but he should get a run with the tag titles if he has the right tag team partner.

Best Austin/Rock Wrestlemania Match?

That's because Russo never gave enough matches a finish to overkill finishers. -
You’re a decent poster at TSM. You add a decent quality of post, and you’re probably one of the better utility posters on this board.

Best Austin/Rock Wrestlemania Match?
Hunter's Torn Quad replied to CBright7831's topic in The WWE Folder
I just re-watched the match, and Austin doesn't hit the stunner until a fair way into the match. Austin hits the Stunner after Rock hits Tim White with the Rock Bottom, and Rock only kicks out after Earl Hebner has to hit the ring to make the count. The match is a lot better than I remember it, and for me it's as good as their X9 match. What I didn't like was the first ten minutes consisting of the walk-and-brawl style that that the WWF main events were infamous for back then. When they got in the ring, it was pretty good stuff, and I would have liked to have seen them wrestle in a match that was kept in the ring, with minimal ringside activity. -

Yes, but WWE want complete and total control of each and every single thing that has their name on it.

What Wrestlers do you want to see come back?

Blitzkrieg is one of the most depressing cases of misused talent in WCW. Here you had a tremendous high flyer who, even though he was virtual rookie, could hang with the likes of Rey Mysterio, Juventud Guerrera and Psicosis, and even had a **** with Juventud on PPV at Spring Stampede 1999 barely a month after entering WCW. So what did WCW? Virtually eliminate him from television and fire him before the end of the year. This completely soured Blitzkrieg to the business, and he promptly retired. -
Problems inside WWE usually result in WWE looking for enemies outside the company. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do you think its finacial problems HTQ? Or a realization in dwindling interest in their product, not necessarily monetary losses? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Financially, WWE are doing pretty well. They had their latest investors call recently, and I think business is on the up due to PPV buys and international business. WWE's problems are creative. For all the money they make, they also want to be seen as a creative success, and it just isn’t happening, and it never will happen, for all the reasons everyone knows.

Best Austin/Rock Wrestlemania Match?

I re-watched the X7 and X9 matches recently, and I thought X7 had more storytelling in it but that X9 was the better actual match. X7, for all the story it had, was filled with too many shortcuts to really take seriously as match, and in many ways it was really a 30:00 angle. Their X9 match was pretty solid I thought, and I preferred it because it had less ga-ga and was more centered around both Austin and Rock and it had no outside forces taking attention away. I haven’t seen their XV match since it happened, but I do remember not thinking much of it. -

Buy rate-wise, he's correct. WM X7 did have more buys, but the buy rate was higher for XV because of the nature of the PPV universe at the time. For those curious, XV got a 2.32, while X7 got a 2.18. -
If you consider the NWA and WCW as one and the same, then yes. He was in for, at least, the 1986 and 1987 Jim Crockett Sr. Memorial Cup tag team tournaments.

You need to remember you're talking to Rrrsh here. You should expect that kind of thing from him when it comes to Shawn.
