I remember the post-WM X-7 Raw, and you could feel the crowd wanting Triple H to lay Vince and Austin out. They wanted it so badly.

Kevin Nash v Hulk Hogan from the Georgia Dome. Hey, it might have killed WCW in GA, but at least it only lasted 60 seconds.

Hence me saying there could be a double-pin situation as well. And just because the match as no official time limit, that doesn't stop them doing some sort of angle where the State Athletic Commission 'informs' them that the show must end at a set time. I mean, with no time-limit, the match could theoretically go on for 3 hours, but it's not going to go for that long.

Probably Vince Russo. He's long held this dream that the ideal wrestling show would have no ring. -

They started that around October/November 2000. It lasted until Meng, who was Hardcore Champion, and not under contract, joined WWE just before the Rumble. -
I think Joe v Punk III will end up in some sort of draw or double pin type scenario. Joe will demand five more minutes, and Punk accepts. Right at the end of the five minutes, Punk has Joe beat, but the bell rings. Punk then asks for five more minutes, and the crowd cheer wildly. Joe says he'd love to. Some other time. He's taking his belt, and going, and Joe leaves to incredible heat, Punk looks strong by having Joe down for the count, Joe also stays strong because he'll have the heat from refusing Punk's request, and they don't have to beat either man just yet, and can go back to the match again.

...wow. Could I get the details on this one? It went about 6 minutes. Scott Hall, with tazer in hand, came into the ring and was going to tazer Wrath. In full view of the ref. Wrath decked Hall, kicked him out of the ring, and turned around into the Chartbuster, which allowed Disco to get the pin. -

WWE will never promote Hogan's final run, because he'll never have one. His type never retire until they're physically incapable. And each time he comes back for 'one last time', it will mean less and less. Why shouldn't Marvel ? It's their trademark, to do with as they wish. -

Heenan was let go around October of 2000 Nothing of note, beyond having to practically pin himself in a match against Kidman when Kidman botched the SSP. Pretty much just house shows. Eric took him off TV when Jericho wouldn't re-sign. Right near the end, she revealed she wasn't pregnant. -
Nobody is objective. Whether they admit or not, their own views and biases affect their opinions.

Because the license hadn't expired then. No, because they're not using it for marketing purposes or to make money, at least in no way that Marvel could sue them over. -
Raw in HD would have no effect on the ratings at all.

The license to the use the name Hulk Hogan has expired. It's part of why Hogan started using the Hollywood Hogan nickname, because if he was no longer able to use the Hulk nickname, he'd have an established nickname to fall back on. -
The ratings fall began right after WM X-7. Raw got some good ratings after moving to TNN, even hitting a 5.75 in December of 2000, but they really began their long slide after WM X-7.

I don't think it's a WWE match. I think a lot of the Samoans do shows for WXW because Afa owns the promotion. Yeah, but they credited Rosey as the "Super Hero In Training". Did that match ever happen on Raw though? It's likely the match took place in WXW, and they were able to bill Rosey using his WWE name because of Afa's relationship with Vince.

Big Show and Albert go to a double countout in 18:34 Heidenrape in-ring promo that goes for 8 minutes, hyping the main event Kenzo Suzuki and Rene Dupree beat The Bushwhackers by countout in 15:03 when Hiroko tempts the 'whackers to the back with pieces of meat Mark Henry beats Jake Roberts by countout in 14:49 when Roberts sees someone drinking a beer at ringside, snatches it, drinks it down, then passes out. Gene Snitsky in-ring promo that goes for 9 minutes, hyping the main event AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels wrestle to no-contest in :17 when Scott Steiner walks in and knocks them both out with a steel pipe. Steiner issues an open challenge, leading to..... Kevin Nash beats Scott Steiner by disqualification in 19:13 when Steiner punches the referee. Styles, Daniels, Low-Ki, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho all hit the ring, one after the other, only to get powerbombed and pinned by Nash in 5 seconds each time. Nash then grabs the mic, and says something about vanilla midgets Tyson Tomko in-ring promo that goes for 11 minutes, hyping the main event Triple H beats Ric Flair in :5 with the figure-four leglock. Flair taps out clean, and then gets on his hands and knees to join the Triple H Suck My Dick Club. Chyna beats Sean Waltman in 21:43 with the X-Factor. Waltman then gets on his hands and knees to join the Chyna Suck My Dick Club. In a ECW Tribute match, Heidenrape, Gene Snitsky and Tyson Tomko go to a 60-minute draw. Heidenrape demands 10 more minutes, the other two agree, and all three men then battle to a triple countout :30 after the restart. Your commentators are Michael Cole and Todd Grisham, with Todd Pettingill providing expert analysis from backstage.
