I've been out of High School for 2 years......maybe I just keep running across the bad crowd. Dammit what is it with me and finding the wrong people. I'm like a magnet for jerk offs. Eh, a lot of people are out for themselves. You find out who your true friends are in the long run. I've run across a lot of people who just tried to buddy up to me because they wanted/needed something, but then I know who my true friends are. I've known my best friend since I was 3 and never have had a blowout with him over anything. If I'm in a bind, I know I can count on him.

It means that you are a genuine nice guy that is in to whatever thing you're into that society deems "uncool" be it video games, star wars, Anime, Fantasy, D&D, and whatnot. You don't care what they say. You don't care that some people may look down on you for it. Fuck them. You're having fun doing it. You're surrounded by others that are having fun doing it and are having fun with you. You don't need to be "popular" or "cool" because those people aren't genuine anyways. They aren't the kind of people you want to associate with. They're assholes that will turn on each other at the drop of a hat. You don't need that. You've got real friends here. You've got genuine friends in your "nerd bracket" so to speak. So why do you need to be popular or cool(which are just illusions anyways)? You don't. Just wanted to add something: you're hot. You're automatically popular, no matter what. Not true. I've known some pretty attractive people who were on the outs with mostly everyone, either for reputation or general bitchy/dickish-ness. I will agree that many are superficial, though.
