The only reason I wouldn't put the US title on Rey is because it's a waste, why do something good, when you have the chance to do something great? I say strike while the iron's hot. Rey winning the US title would make less sense at this point. Rey might not have been 100% in the running for the WHT, but he's been more involved in the WHT picture than the US in recent months. Especially the last couple weeks.

Thats kinda what they've been doing, Rey beating Eddie and JBL...I'm sure there are others. By no means has Rey been "dicking around in the Tag Division", just because he won the titles with Batista. Rey should have been a secondary singles champion(US/IC) years ago.
