  1. Pro: No more Super Stacy and the puzzling tassles (which were in no way pasties) off her breastage. Con: Torrie/Candice as PMS 05. Pro: Agreed about Candices outfit. Shame she was wearing it. I dig the whole "cut at the hips" look, which is also featured prominently in that Kelly Clarkson video for that song that just infected my brain again... HERE I AM, ONCE AGAIN... Con: No break up over Super Stacy? WAH~! Rosie/Hurricane is an awesome feud waiting to be UNBOUND. Pro: The aging effects of being in the WWE are abound on Torries face, educational! Con: Every one of those girls should be fired because they are useless. HOT WOMEN CAN BE FOUND ANYWHERE. NAKED WOMEN CAN'T BE FOUND ON RAW AND SMACKDOWN. When the WWE goes hardcore... or even Softcore... then those types of women will be useful. ...And Czech Republic would be better at handling Stacy/Orton.
  2. Bonnars Thoughts: The first episode of the ultimate fighter was f***in’ good, much better than I expected. The intro impressed me, maybe because it contained lots of footage of me fighting. The coaches’ intro pieces were the shit. Highlight reels of Hughes and Franklin fights. Why didn't Randy and Chuck get videos that cool? Porra! (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu guys will get the porra joke.) Now off to the actual show. I thought Kerry "soul glow" Schalls’ hair was way too greasy. C'mon you don't have a jerry curl. "Gotta let that soul glow." Then off to Eli "Quitter" Joslin. Talking some shit. Could it be a little foreshadowing? Later, I quote him as saying "I'm not gonna quit." Luke "planet neptune" Cummo is probably an alien disguised as a human. I voted him most likely to become a serial killer. Then you have not one, but two guys wearing kilts. What's up with this? Then they open their mouths and no Scottish accent! Porra! So we have some hard training, lots of injuries. Everyone icing. Good job of showing how hard it really is. The drama is around Eli quitting, Kerry's injury, and who is the weak link in the welterweight division. Poor Kerry, pulling a Quarry. I really felt for him even though we just got to know him. Definitely a tear-jerking moment. Then the best line of the whole show from Dana,' Who's gonna be the next Forrest "hillbilly" Griffin?' I guess my jealousy is leaking out. Forrest, Forrest, Forrest (Marsha, Marsha, Marsha). The second best line is Eli upon quitting saying, "train hard for me." What a lazy bitch. The first elimination for the welterweights was a cool shocking surprise. Cut Kenny, but let him pick someone to fight to stay. I didn't see that coming and I loved it. Then he quits too! Here is some advice Kenny, don't cut all your weight in the sauna. Plastic and bundle up and walk on a treadmill.....it's f***ing easy. (Sorry for the profanity, Dana is rubbing off on me.) Then after he quits, comes the third best line of the show. "I would've beaten everyone here." You don't talk shit after quitting!!! Finally, to cap off the show comes the best part, an emotional speech from Dana. The passion of Dana's speeches can be measured with an instrument called the f***ometer. In this two minute closing speech we had a whopping 17 bleeps for the F word. I think he surpassed the "do you want to be a f***ing fighter" speech on the f***ometer. Can't wait to see episode two and a fight!!
  3. SHE WAS RIGHT BEHIND ME AND WAS YELLING AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS AT A FUCKING SCREEN THAT HAD MOVING PICTURES ON IT. I got a headache from it. She physically hurt me through her stupidity. God I hate wrestling fans.
  4. I understand the point behind "weeding out the weak", so it makes the UFC look like a tough organization to get into, thus heightening the value of the contracts. But _for the show_, all it really says is "they're not as good as last years bunch", which is a bit odd because, you know, why would you want to watch low quality fighters?
  5. 1. Cade and Murdoch had such potential at the beginning of their promo. All they had to do was have Murdoch just say "Yip" and spit in a can after Cade goes on and on and on with that dumbass smile on his face, and they would have been made. Fucking deliverance. 2. Benjamin/Angle and Cena/Jericho were ok matches. Ben/Angle was more full of nifty spots than anything cohesive and I saw better wrestling sequences in Couture/Van Arsdale last Saturday. Cena/Jericho was a rehash of their match last Sunday. I dug the Angle run-in at the end, and I like how they sequenced from one opponent to the other. 3. The Kerwin White thing is awful. I like the whole idea of it, but they do it in such a .... hassan... sorta way. It needs to be more subversive. Chavo was practically spelling it out. 4. Was HBK trying to bury Masters? 5. Torrie looks so old. Back in WCW she was soooo hot... what happened? 6. Carlito/Flair? Shoot. me. now.
  6. "GO SEXY! WHOOOO! YEAH!" "CENA! CENA! CENA! WHOOOO!" "You SUCK Jericho! You SUCK Y2CHEAP!" Urge to kill, RISING.
  7. Gah! I wanted to see some fightin! It's been... 2 days... since the last UFC and I don't know how much longer I can hold out. Rich Franklin, already, is a buzillion times better than Randy and Chuck. Ace ain't gunna baby ya. Dana White, thus far, has had more screen time than all the fighters combined. Honest. I clocked it. Don't bother me much, I'm a fan of Sleazy D. Though, no doubt, someone will kick his ass by the end of the season. Loved the Jason Thacker love. Overall, good show. Solid B. Some potential characters coming out of this, and if last season was any indication, usually the guys you end up liking the most get their face time in later episodes, rather than earlier ones.
  8. I was proclaimed the blackest white person by an actual black person. I am, like, an honourary black man.
  9. I've lived in Ontario coming close to a decade and I don't know what the fuck you guys are talkin about.
  10. Bacon Bits on those 'Tates?
  11. This news is like, last month.
  12. They could cover the period inbetween Buffy Season 2 and Buffy Season 4.

  14. --Tra Telligman is okay, as far as talking and moving and there didn't appear to be any serious damage. That was one scary knockout from Tim Sylvia's high kick. He was kept overnight at the hospital for precautionary measures. Terry Martin was out of the hospital quickly and walking around at the show before it was over. Mike Van Arsdale was also taken to the hospital last night but didn't appear to have any serious injuries. -Wo.com Whew. I think in terms of contenders for Matt Hughes in the UFC, it's like this (not necessarily ranking fighters, just their proximity to Hughes and based on the past few years in the UFC): 1. Georges St. Pierre 2. Karo Parisyan 3. Nick Diaz 4. Frank Trigg 5. Chris Lytle 6. Diego Sanchez 7. Renato Verissimo 8. Jason Miller 9. Dennis Hallman 10. Carlos Newton Carlos Newton, Hallman, Miller, Lytle would be interesting matches for Sanchez - they're good enough and recognizable enough to be a notable "win" for him, and he has a chance to beat them. Charuto, Trigg, Pariyan, and GSP would be throwing him to the lions. Diaz is an interesting one because the guy has the ground skills to neutralize Sanchezes attack and also threaten Sanchez on his feet. It would be a nice "contenders" fight for both men down the road, but not right now.
  15. Rationalizing things on a Wrestling Discussion Board doesn't fly, not now, not ever.
  16. Czech, your post in Site Feedback was one of the biggest mark-out moments for me on this board. I feel quite bad about that, but it's true.
  17. I don't think I was watching the same fight if you called the 1st round "ok". Then again, I was cheering for someone in that fight which adds a lil more emotion. 3 title fights would be the UFCs christmas present to all of us.
  18. Those were crazy times, back then. Wild times. Livin every day like it was your last... chance at making smart ass comments and creating absurd stories.
  19. First of all, those are different situations. Mick Foley deserves consideration for his influence in professional wrestling, as his book was a major success and spawned a trend that is still seen today. Taker deserves consideration for his longevity and staying power in an organization that simply doesn't allow that. Secondly, I wouldn't say that either guy were shoe-ins for the HOF, which is being said of HHH.
  20. I dunno how one could consider Lindland/Doerkson "boring". The third round, yes. But the first round was stellar, and the second round had its exciting moments.
  21. I haven't said definitively that HHH isn't a HOFer. I just don't think he's a "Slam Dunk" like Meltzer says he is. The guy has been on top of the top organization in professional wrestling history for 5 years and he has drawn more than 99.9% of wrestlers in wrestling history which -on paper- is a huge accomplishment and deserves HOF recognition, _however_ unlike Hogan, Austin, Rock -the big stars in HHH's era-, HHH didn't really *do* anything to warrant it. HHH was along for the ride for the most part, and when he *was* on his own he failed to deliver, especially considering the amout of TV time he was given. It's a case of not living up to your contemporaries, and like I said before, this should be relative. The environment is different now, it's on national television and a PPV audience, where drawing 10,000 fans to an arena and millions on TV is expected.
  22. At the December show do Couture/Liddell III, and on the undercard have Rampage fight someone to set him up for the title shot.
  23. The problem here is that HHH was given everything. In 1999 Vince McMahon was determined to get him over as a top heel and pushed him relentlessly for better part of the year doing that. HHH has been afforded every single fucking luxury the WWE could give him. The best heel in wrestling? That's pretty easy, when all the heels under him can't use the same "tricks" that he does and can't be elevated to his position. When Eugene was at his hottest, who was there to take the heat from him? Who gets the ring time, the blood, the gimmicks, the weapons? Who gets all the tv time he wants? Where is the accomplishment in ANYTHING HHH has done in the past 5 years?
