  1. GSP! I was worried for him against Trigg, cause Trigg dominated both Charuto and Hallman, and came so close to beating Hughes. I feel silly now after watching Rush just fuck Trigg up on every single fucking level. The guy is a monster. An absolute monster. They should have let Hughes come into the ring afterwards, just so I can see those two face to face, just so St. Pierre can look into the eyes of the man who no doubt fears him right now, just so Hughes can look into the eyes of the man that will destroy him when they fight again. Fuck. Yeah. His post-fight promo was tremendous. Sanchez looked good in there, though him not going for submissions was a bit of a wonderer especially when they were presented to him freely by Gassaway. Still, the objective was to have Sanchez win in impressive fashion, and he did. Couture/Van Arsdale, Round 1, was freakin amazing. MVAs takedown was sweet, and them exchanging positions was some of the best wrestling I've seen displayed in the octagon. The rest of the fight was ok, building up to the Anaconda Choke, but boy that first round was sweet. Sylvia/Telligman was fucking SCARY. That highkick was insane, but the way Tra was lying there completely out, it was rough watching. Good fight, nice exchanges on their feet, impressive finish. Horn/Liddell was good, but it was a typical Liddell performance of "pick your spots" which made for some nice spots, but in between those spots sorta lacked. Big John gave some major leeway that you would NEVER see outside of a title fight. The finish was anti-climatic, but fitting for the story of the match. Tip for anyone fighting Chuck - wear goggles. Lindland/Doerkson for the first two rounds was great (especially the first) with Doerkson actually taking down as well as sweeping an Olympic Silver Medalist in wrestling. Fuck. That loss hurts a lot more than I thought it would, cause I really wanted Joe to win for a couple of reasons: 1. He's an exciting fighter, 2. He'd be good match ups against the top Middleweights, particularly Franklin, 3. I don't really want to see Lindland/Franklin. But Lindlands promos are primo. I was wondering why they were showing the Irvin fight, but DAMN, that was a Silva/Newton-style flying knee. JEEEESUS. His reaction to it was classic - looking back and then throwing his hands up cause he knew Martin was KTFO. Overall, really good show. *pulls out piece of paper* Now, -I gotta do this- I'd like to my sponsors. Lord of the Curry, for hosting the event, the UFC and Zuffa for putting it on, COWS Fightwear - which supplies me with my much needed bovine humour and puns in Tshirt form, Wendys for sustaining my appetite so I could watch the show without distraction, and TSM, cause this is where I post. God bless.
  2. If you lose stars, then you should have guys ready to take their spots on the roster (aka new stars), they didn't. That was in large part due to HHH. It became the HHH show for well over 3 years, and during that time business has dropped dramatically and only survives due to international touring. He is a central, active, figure in the WWE's decline, along with Vince and Steph. And how do you know if HHH wasn't around things would have declined more? If he wasn't around, they would have been forced to create new stars and elevate fresh talent. In terms of his drawing record, as I said before, on its own it gets him into the HOF automatically. But there needs to be context, the wrestling business is much different now than it was 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years ago. *I* could draw more than 80% of North American wrestlers if the WWE had me on TV. That's just the way the business is. Put me in the Main Event at Wrestlemania, I could draw millions of people off the name of the event alone. That would *kill* the draws of yesteryear. IT'S DIFFERENT. What's more impressive: 10,000 fans and 2 million people watching RAW automatically every week no matter who's on, or 2000 people coming JUST to see you? On paper, the first one wins easy. But does that accurately reflect a *true* draw? Is that the same thing guys back decades ago had to their advantage?
  3. It would be interesting to see the decline in business the WWE has done since HHH has been on top.
  4. "And remember, I can edit out two of the "hells", but I need to keep all of the "damns". It's a street cred thing."
  5. It's like fucking christmas! I woke up today and the first thing on my mind was "UFC tonight".
  6. Oh, Kirks film is tremendous. The cuts and the dialogue and the DANCING. You don't beat that shit.
  7. Are we being relative? Cause the numbers HHH draws in comparison to numbers that were drawn in the 60's, 70's, and 80's would be outstanding, first ballot HOF level stuff. But compared to what the WWE was drawing at their peak, which has since declined a significant amount while HHH was "on top", then HHH's drawing power becomes downplayed.
  8. That's one of my all time faves. Watching 5.1, and Rory is in bed with Dean. That's it, she's no longer my Rory Gilmore. She is now, Whory Gilwhore. *Update* Ooooh I like how they did that. Not the candy man thing, but with the different perspective shots from the final moments in Season 4. How experimental of them. *Update* Richard is kicking ass in this: "Only prostitutes drink 2 glasses of wine at lunch!" "You are NOT getting out of that window!" Sookie finding out about Luke and Lorelai is great. Sookie told Lorelai ways back about Luke digging her (season 2, I believe), so its nice continuation on that. And this Dean thing... I can't watch this... so much drama. He's like 12 steps away from havin a can of beer in his hand at all times. *Update* Lindsey in that Monroe dress... helloooooo.
  9. Canadians have been more loyal to the WWE than Americans, even when the WWE was doing poorly in the states in the mid-90's, Canada was still a strong market for them. And we, like, NEVER got to see Hogan live. He'd rarely come up here to wrestle, so now when he does, all those fans who never got to see him a decade+ ago are making up for lost time.
  10. It's hard to explain the greatness that is Lauren Grahams slapstick, but the basics are everytime she is around Luke she runs into something, or falls down. It's HILARIOUS. Best physical comedy this side of Kirk. I am getting the impression that Rory becomes a whore in Season 5. - Episode 3.2, 3.3, 3.6, 3.7, 3.8, 3.9, (great string of shows) 3.13, 3.17, 3.18, 3.19, 3.22 - Episode 4.2, 4.3, 4.7 (just for Kirk), 4.9 (HUGE episode), 4.14 (my agony episode), 4.16, 4.17 (my *ahem* episode), 4.18, 4.20, 4.21, 4.22
  11. Maybe I can freestyle to a beat and dissem like Em. "Yeah, yeah. Rudo'ere. Triple R, Baby, Yeah, yeah Yo, Shanghai Kid, you a dumb fool In this folda, you the piss in the pool. I'd go upside ya head, but I'm playin it cool. No need to use the hammer, when I got you tool Ha Ha (WUT?!) Downhome, Downhome, what the fuck you sayin? Yo words are weak, son, it's shit you sprayin. From y'ass to the screen, dumbspeak you parlayin Shit, go fuck yourself with Patrick Swayze, you Jennifer Grey'in (Awww SHEET) And IggyMcFly, I ain't forget abowchew You Ignorant, dumb mark Nazi to our Smark-ass Jew, The Holocaust of Stupid you bring make even Hilter spew HHH ain't put over no one, that means Batista too. ChehehehchOUT."
  12. These are my LIVE thoughts on the Season finale. After Lorelai and Rory talk about Luke early in episode 22 (season 4 finale), there is -quite possibly- THE GREATEST FEMALE SLAP STICK EVER. *Update* The Dragonfly Inn looks marvelous. No DEAN No!!! *Update* THE DOOR~! Lauren Graham is the QUEEN of Slap Stick~! Oh and now I say "LUKE DANES~!" everytime Luke shows up. *Update* Whoa Whoa WHOA WHOA WHOA. Dean and Rory on her bed. WHOA WHOA WHOA. *Update* LUKE! KISS! FUCK YEAH! WHAT *ARE* YOU DOING??! BED! UNDONE! RORY! DEAN! FUCK! YEAH!!! *Final Update* That's like the weirdest cliffhanger-that-wasn't-a-cliffhanger. This show is GREAT at doing those, where they manage to leave you wanting more but they also give you what you want.
  13. Oh man, that thing with Jess at the end of the episode is heart-breaking. *Jess asks Rory to leave everything behind to be with him* "No no no no no" "Don't say no just to get me to shut up, only say no if you really mean it" "No" *Jess turns around and leaves*
  14. I am watching episode 21 in Season 4. Is there ANYONE on this planet hotter than Lauren Graham when she's dancing with Luke?
  15. Benoit/Orton is ok. It starts off good enough with them working a headlock spot for the first5 minutes, then Benoit tries to get the sharpshooter on and the match sorta loses its format after that, with both guys "tired" but not really busting out any big moves until the end. Post Show was Taker/Batista vs. JBL/Orton, the highlight of which was Taker soupboning it up. Taker was over huge.
  16. Just finished watching the 20th episode in season four. It was SO worth it.
  17. To me, Lushus is a guy who can sing, but doesn't know the lyrics. He can say some pretty silly things sometimes. A few more years, a lil more jaggedness, some exposure to better wrestling and he'd be worth listening to.
  18. Yeah, I still like the Playaz, but the laissez faire attitude that works for them (because they actually know a thing or two about wrestling) doesn't work for the majority of the wrestling board. And I think EvilIraqi is just about the dumbest cocksucker on the planet.
  19. Who cares if HHH is a writer anyways, he's fucking the Director of Creative and his father in-law is Vince McMahon. The dude could be a fucking janitor with the WWE and have more influence than anyone else on the entire roster.
  20. No, HHH confirmed he was a writer. I remember it clearly.
  21. HHH said he was a writer a few years ago on Off The Record. This has been public information since 2002.
  22. Holy Shit, Holy Shit, Holy Shit. Richard Gilmore is the motherfucking man. Just finished watching the 18th episode in Season 4. The one where Jasons father -Richards old boss- sues the two for stealing clients. Good God. That was pure awesome.
  23. "it was cool, we went to the beach, we danced, we watched the power of myth, paris and I kissed" "Whoa whoa whoa... You watched the power of myth?!"
  24. Watch the episode where they go on spring break. All time classic.
  25. Paris just kissed Rory. This is hot.
