Why the fuck shouldn't zombies run?
RavishingRickRudo replied to Ripper's topic in Television & Film
Lack of motor skills and coordination due to being dead, I suppose. But then again, if you can accept the reality that the dead can come alive, is it such a leap to believe they can run? -
I cannot possibly watch this show with other people around. I tried, it didn't work. At all.

WOW! That Harvard/Yale episode was fucking INSANE. TOTAL BOMBSHELLS DROPPED YO! YOWZA. All that aside, Richard is an absolute riot in this - the wiffenpoofs, the dog, the fight songs. AWESOME. And WOW! RORY GOT HOT! Like, I've been flirting around with the issue but mainly decided up until now she was "cute" and nothing really, well, hot and sexxxy. And then, like somewhere in Season four -perhaps with the hair cut- she's like, shwoah, fuck me. This thing with Digger and Lorelai I am currently on the fence about. Danny Strong as the editor is annoying. MICHAEL FUCKING YORK! Every time I hear his voice I am forced to (when no one is around) speak out loud and talk like him. I actually knew of Paris and Yorks relationship as it was one of my earlier GG experiences and it just seemed to enforce the girly girl stigma the show had, but now there's intrigue~! The grandparents taking delight in Rorys hate-piece on the ballet was fantastic. And SEBASTIAN BACH~!!!! as the guitarest - tremenDOUS. Kirk with his WOMAN~! Kirk as JESUS!!! KIRK MOTHERFUCKER!

The Ultimate Fighter Season 2 Contestants

But that just means more opponents for the WW winner of TUF, since he will have a contract with the UFC. They can build the WW up in the first year, and in the next year have him in those marquee matches. If he loses, then at least you can build someone off him and possibly offer exciting matches. The UFC's luck in the HW division has been well documented - when they try to push Mike Kyle, he gets beaten by Justin Eilers. When they try to push Justin Eilers, he gets beat by Buentello. Buentello didn't look very good in his last outing and many are writing him off against Arlovski. Sylvia didn't last long, Ricco didn't last long, Barnett didn't last long, Mir hasn't lasted long... -
I think a firm handshake and posedown after the match will clear that up.

I can't imagine Shawn not being a face after this, especially considering he's wrestling house shows as a face.

Chaos Theory has one of the best quotes from CSI: "Why would anyone want to sell their books?" - Grissom. He just didn't get it. The concept is so foreign to him. -

CSI, Season 3, Episode 2: The Accused Is Entitled First aired: 10/3/2002 Writer: Ann Donahue, Elizabeth Devine Director: Kenneth Fink Guest star: Chad Michael Murray (Tom Haviland), Raymond J. Barry (Philip Gerard), Lindsay Frost (Marjorie Wescott) I think this episode best illustrates both the procedural nature and character flaws of CSI. This episode basically is "CSI on Trial". An actor (Tom Haviland) is clearly guilty of killing 2 people in his hotel room. The evidence is against him. So rather than attacking the evidence, he hires a high-priced attorney (Marjorie Wescott) to attack those who collect the evidence. Usually, attorneys try to take as-long-as possible to draw out the legal proceedings, however Wescott takes the opposite route and tries to speed up the process as to force CSI to make a mistake. A mistake means a mistrial, which means Haviland can go out on bail, flee the country, and not get punished for killing 2 women. To "review" CSI's practices, Wescott hires Philip Gerard, Gill Grissoms mentor. Needless to say, since humans aren't perfect, there are flaws in the collection of evidence, as well as those collecting it. Gerard informs Wescott of all of this, and when each member of CSI (except Grissom, who has taken himself off the case) is on stand, Wescott grills them to the point of making CSI look inept. With Warrick, she brings up his gambling problems. With Nick, she makes note that he didn't properly file and take pictures of some key evidence. With Sara, she talks about her relationship with a medic who was at the scene and further-more, he relationship with Gil Grissom. With Catherine, Wescott talks about Willows contesting a CSI exam and her "judgement", since she was a stripper at one time. One by one, the CSI crew gets dismantled. They need Grissom. Now, I love me some Grissom. He's one of my all time favourite characters. And for this whole time he's been standing out on the sidelines looking-in. The reason-being (and this is something they had been building up since the show began) is that he is losing his hearing. And if a CSI doesn't have full use of all his senses, then what good is he in collecting evidence? However, very few people would know about his hearing loss - his mother, him, his doctor... and his mentor. So Grissom knows he would be a liability to the team if he were to go on stand. However, since the other 4 members of CSI have had their credibility shot, when some new evidence that would prove Haviland committed the murders, Grissom puts himself in the game. This leads up to my favourite scene. Grissom is on the stand, talking about their findings. Gerard whispers something to Wescott. Wescott, then, proceeds to talk very softly. Grissom can't hear her. Fuck. They're fucked. "Could you say that again?" he says. Oh no. "One more time". Grissoms ears weren't working but his eyes sure were, BOOM! THE CHAMP IS HERE! He reads her lips, answers her question, and its OVAH. All of that episode was building to that moment where Grissom takes the stand, and through the camera work, music, acting and storytelling, you feel this huge sense of relief after Grissom makes the save. One of my favourite CSI episodes, one of my favourite episodes period. -
The Ultimate Fighter Season 2 Contestants

Stevenson has been very impressive in the matches I've seen of him, so much so that I was watching his fights and was like "Why isn't this guy in the UFC?!". The Welterweights clearly have the better ability than their HW counter-parts - the UFC will be lucky to get one fighter out of all the heavies that will mesh with their division. -
And there's nothing realer than wrestling.
-
YEAH!

The sexual innuendo of "having a lil Cena in us" was fantastic. CC is not only gangsta, but clearly puts the dirty in dirty south.
-
So if I make fun of Cena some more, I AM John Cena??
-
Cena isn't a heel, silly.

So, being one of those is different from the "crappy guy of the month" smarks will laugh at and laugh onto (like Visc, Snitsky) that you complain about how, exactly? Because Tomko dusted dirt off of Christians shoulder and had a decent tag scuffle with Benoit a few months ago, thus earning the love. We didn't like Tomko right away and then start to hate him, like the Snitsky and Vis shit.

Wait just a goddamn motherfucking second. You can go straight to hell, buddy. No one disagrees with me. *pulls knife out from back and hands it to HTQ* Here ya go. Don't worry about me, I'll take the wahmbulance with Zyn to the hospital.

Kane has this special power that makes people forget all the horrible things he has done to them. JR is the best example of said power. My random thought: Cenas new video is 100,000,000xs (unintentionally) more hilarious than the very unfunny bad bad man video.

They should have Eugene take the Masterlock Challenge, break it, and then say "You've been Mentally Challenged!". It would be G R A T E.

I give MMA fights a star rating. Story and Drama are two things I highly value - take Smith/Coleman. It's one of my favourite matches because the story is fantastic - Coleman is thought to be unbeatable, but through some fantastic guard work and blocking, the underdog Smith is able to weather the storm and Coleman gets tired. Smith then takes over for the duration of the match. The crowd chants "Coleman" in the first few minutes and then "Smith" in the last few. Exchanges, both striking and grappling are important as well. They don't have to be mutual - you can have an all striking match like Griffin/Bonnar was for the most part, or you can have a primarily grappling match like Sakuraba/Newton. It's hard to find a match that has a great amount of exchanges in both, but the ones that do are amazing. Diaz/Parisyan was sorta like that, and it was my 04 MOTY. Pacing is very important - stalling for an extended period of time is a big negative. Even if you're working for position, it's a helluva lot better than laying in someones guard or running away. Finishes are good, but not a must-have. Some of my favourite fights have gone to decisions. Amazing technique and strategy matter. Take Fedor/Nog - those are great matches to me, but they are totally one-sided and some people don't rank domination very high. I don't really care as long as the dominant fighter shows great technique and strategy.

What wrestler has ever gone out on top of his game? I can only think of Brock Lesnar, and he's bound to come back sooner or later.
-
This is Hogan we're talking about, not Toshiaki Kawada. The impact would fully be on Austins back, not his head. Besides, given Austins neck problems he can sell it better and make it a bigger spot than it normally is.
-
And then Austin taking the belt and whipping Hogan with it. I'm sure there is a beer spot in there too. Maybe Austin forcefeeds Hogan some vitamins.

Making tons of money and giving people what they wanted to see isn't the note you want to go out on?
