I think Edgar showed more than Gray in that fight, though Gray obviously overwhelmed Frankie with his superior wrestling. Frankie was using combos, parrying, and head-movement standing while Gray was resigned to single-shotting and didn't seem to know how to handle the combos. Frankies control on the ground and stifled a lot of Grays offense while on the bottom. 30-27 is fucking pitiful. Though poetic justice for Frankie given it's exactly how he won against Fisher.

Flair/Michaels was pretty much what I expected, cept that it had a really heightened sense of drama due to the significance of Flair losing. So everything meant something. You don't get that kind of weight with wrestling very often.

The first superkick was the best. He smoked Flair. The end came with Shawn standing in the corner, Flair trying hard to get up. It was like Shawn didn't want to look at Flair, he played it off so well. Flair got up, fist clenched, as if to say "bring it on", Shawn mouthed "I'm sorry, I love you" then pulled the trigger on on SCM for the KO win. Immediately after the 3 he went head to head with Flair, almost like he was embracing a recently dead loved one, then kissed him on the forehead and left. Flair came to with tears in his eyes, realizing what it all meant.

Great match. Goosebumps for the ending. Well built, great story. Best possible way to end a career, very dignified.
