  1. You know what? ... That's actually pretty smart.
  2. Vince didn't even watch WCW for crying-out-loud.
  3. *smacks head* OF COURSE! How could I forget about that whiny, money-grubbing, Bret Hart completely destroying WCW with his whiny, money-rubbing ways...
  4. A little from column A and a lil from column B. (it's in response to Slapnuts - he was talkin biblical in response to my "in the beginning", and then asked "what are we talkin about again" so I said "Holy Shit" - thus inferring that what we are talking about -the McMahons- were shit.)
  5. Shouldn't this be in Lists...??? I mean, I wouldn't object to it if there was actually a discussion going on behind these rankings - but there aren't.
  6. Of course. *Starts a JVD chant*
  7. When I think of the MNW's, the first person I think of is Coach.
  8. C'mon, this thread was still pretty good up until about 100... then it jumped the shark.
  9. No, of course not. But it still is a potential resource that the WWE could use that they simply aren't.
  10. Nathan Jones was the result of a cross-breeding experiment by the Australian Government, in association with the WWE, where they successfully (?) mated a cow and a hoss.
  11. Again, if they put time and effort in... there is, of course, a weeding out and learning process that goes along with it.
  12. If they actually put time and effort into it, a MB would be an effective tool where the pros greatly outweigh the cons.
  13. Yeah, and when you're about to win (or after you won) you can yell out "Czechmate"
  14. But, but, but... I love Hansen... ... he almost makes chaps not look absolutely ridiculous.
  15. Banky, saying nothing new either. ...Rudo, saying nothing new either.
  16. RVD has fun matches... that's about it.
  17. Man, that was great how he put the sharpshooter on Vince...
  18. WCW at least offered variety. Yes, that Nash and Hall sure were bankable in the WWF...
  19. I'm going to watch the show again tomorrow, so I'll get a better look. In the mean time... AntoniOWNED!
  20. "In the beginning Vince McMahon created Hulk Hogan. Then, Evil Ted Turner decided he wanted to destroy Vince McMahon so he bought all of the WWF Stars and copied Raw and Nitro was born. Then the NWO happened and WCW won a few ratings battles, which pushed Vince to create Attitude. Attitude was the greatest thing that ever happened to wrestling because it was so innovative and there were no heels or faces. Vince won the war and beat Evil Ted Turner and appeared on TNT. The end."
  21. Whoa whoa whoa... Wrestling wasn't around before Wrestlemania, buddy. Don't you start bringing up those carnys.
  22. I agree with you for the most part RRR, but as fans people have different tastes. With basketball you have stats that give you an example of who is better, but stats aren't everything. I can honestly say I don't like Kobe Bryant, but I think he is a great player. However I would also say that his defense is way overrated and that Tracy McGrady has been the better player between the two since the end of 2001/2002 season. I can give you reasons why I belive both things, but you may weigh the importance of them differently. Very true. Some people may put more importance on technical wrestling than in storytelling, and vice versa. Both have their points - but as long as they have their points and it's based in reason, it's cool. However, in this regard, that is just not being done. You can't through that opinion out the window because you place an emphasis on other things. That is what many people on this board do. That's because many people on this board (general statement) place an emphasis on *opinion* rather than the points that make that opinion. They are more content with just saying "Well, that's the way I feel and I can't be wrong" rather than backing up what they say. I think 'that' should be used until after all the points have been made and "widdled down" to "I prefer this over this".
