  2. I am still holding out hope. Hope for a better world.
  3. So I'm watching the UFC 63 DVD's special features and... damn I miss Rachelle.
  4. DeSouza making Noah cry was tremendous. He got grapple raped. Bitch got Graped. Turnin purple and er'ting. Penns detachment from his team is great, specially in juxtaposition with Jens love for his. You get the feeling that Jens would take a bullet for his team, whereas Penn would move out of the way and then laugh hysterically when one of his team members gets shot instead. And No Beef stole the show, for reals.
  5. ripped (rĭpt) adj. Slang. 1. Having an extremely defined physique; toned: ripped, bulging muscles. 2. Intoxicated by alcohol or a drug.
  6. No, wait. When Present Hiro B returns, he will then create Timeline C. (as new time lines are created in every jump), and Future Hiro A will still be in Future B until it gets destroyed by the creation of Timeline C. Future Hiro C is then also created.
  7. Future Hiro A goes into Present Hiro B's time. He cannot go back to Future Hiro A's past ("Present Hiro A"), because that would mean that Present Hiro A would have met Future Hiro A in Timeline A, therefore Future Hiro A would have knowledge of meeting Future Hiro A in the past when he was Present Hiro A. But he didn't. So, when Future Hiro A went into the past, he created a new time line (Timeline B). Since it seems Future Hiro A has no memory of the cheerleader being saved, whereas Present Hiro B (and therefore Future Hiro B) did, then that means Future Hiro A is in Timeline B, which is essentially a temporary future where he waits until Present Hiro B lives through it and becomes Future Hiro B and Timeline A has been destroyed by him changing the timeline. When something big changes in the timeline to effect Future Hiro B (namely, the bomb exploding in New York and killing Ando) he will be destroyed and in his place will be Present Hiro B.
  8. Aw geez, I put all that time and effort in to baiting you and I don't get any snide remark back? You sure know how to make a girl feel special, Lei Stacey Cartwright Were you at the last Worlds, Lei?
  9. I am going to suggest there there is a divine hand, if you will, guiding some of these events. Peter's vision of the future has yet to be explained, and it could be that someone gave him that vision to correct the change that future Hiro made by having Claire saved. Hiro randomly traveling through time may not be so random, that someone could be guiding him along as well.
  10. No. Wait. That's wrong. Because Future Hiro would have had all the same memories that Present Hiro had to-that-point had that been the case. Ok, Time Travel NEVER makes sense. Cept in Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure.
  11. The way I see it, the world that the first future Hiro came from was a world in which Sylar had absorbed Claires powers. It was a world where there was no future Hiro to say "save the cheerleader". The second future Hiro's world (which we saw in the last episode) was one that was affected by Hiro going back in time and one that the cheerleader lived. It just didn't save the world like he had thought, as Sylar was still powerful and Peter had taken his place in 'sploding, and all that changed was that Claire was alive. Basically, we are told that no matter what happens, their future is sealed and they are fucked.
  12. http://www.dailymotion.com/relevance/searc...-2005-highlight Here is a hl of the last worlds, ending with Roger Gracie tapping Jacare. Gracie will be taking on Jon Olaf Einemo in a Superfight, who is Rogers last loss, I believe, in No Gi competition.
  13. BOCEK~! and some lil dude who has no shot. It only comes once every two years, which along with liking many sweaty guys grasping each other firmly, is 2 things it has in common with Lei Tong. That's right, it's the ADCC WORLDS! Which I am, for the first time, giving a shit about. And so should YOU! (Not you, Lei Tong. 14. Armageddon and Con Air can NOT count. Dammit, Armageddon has the Bruce Willis "Goodbye Grace" scene and Con Air has the "He told me he loved me" scene by Dave Chappelle. And Hot Shots had "You don't understand. I can't walk... they've tied my shoelaces together"
  15. Nick Swardson makes Grandma's Boy. The DDR scene had me on the floor. Plus Jonah Hill is in fine Jonah Hill form.
  16. Yeah, put me down for The Postman, and to a lesser extent Waterworld. Postman was great with Will Patton chewing scenery like it was his last role. Costner sorta slept threw it, but the rest was inspired. With Waterworld, insert Dennis Hopper over Will Patton. No fucking way Commando gets mentioned. That's the quintessential Schwarzenegger movie. Anyone who doesn't like that movie deserves a pole through the chest. Fire Down Below is super great. Marg Helgenberger, Kris Kristofferson, and Steven Segal not allowing anyone to get the better of him ever. If Robin Hood Men In Tights is allowed, then Hot Shots Part Deux must get love. "I had to come. It was a sequel." Oh, and Josey and the Pussycats is a fucking tremendous movie. Oh, and Loaded Weapon I. Oh, and MAVERICK. I don't care if Mel is nuts, he's still the most charming motherfucker.
  17. Twister. Not because it gets no love or hated on, but because I'm pretty sure there are few who compulsively watch it whenever its on and have seen it as many times as me. Blast From The Past is a great movie that even Alicia Silverstone couldn't ruin. Brendan Frasier runs house in that flick.
  18. I hope we never find out about Peters scar and that he doesn't get one in the future (of the show). It would be a total wink and a nod to pretty much every alternate universe/future out there, because someone ALWAYS has a scar in a dystopian future.
  19. YES YES....HBO has been playin this for like the past month and I've watched it damn near everytime...It was on Last nite as a matter of fact...That main music piece owns as far as im concerned Dude, Bacula, Kathy Ireland, Sinbad... how can you go wrong? Me and you? We gonna Paaahhhtaaaay.
  20. I like that they are pacing themselves with the super power action. Too much, too soon and they blow their wad of cool which would end up creating a Matrix effect where everything afterwards is not nearly as impressive and you become numb to it.
  21. Necessary Roughness and Major League 3. It's the Bacula fan in me.
  22. I also like that even 5 years into the future, Sylar is still fucking with Suresh. Suresh: My god, this whole time, you were acting as Nathan Petrelli? Sylar: Oh yes, and more. Suresh: More? What do you mean? Sylar: Remember that time, in that Korean BBQ place, where you met this lady named Trisha? Suresh: Of course, she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. Sylar: And you took her to a hotel and made love to her. Suresh: It was the greatest night of my life, why? Sylar: ... and she said she wanted to switch roles. Suresh: It was awkward and a bit uncomfortable at first, I must admit, but... what does that have to do with anything? Sylar: and in the middle of it room service knocked on the door and interrupted everything. Suresh: Yes, and.. we... never ordered room service... oh wait... my god... you were that hotel staff employee! Sylar: Uh... Suresh: You are more devious than I had imagined.
  23. The Ando-dying-was-the-impetus-to-Hiros-obsession-with-changing-the-past was a great character builder. Especially with Ando knowing that and not Hiro. Also, Parkman is a dick. I like how he went bad, though, cause his character has shown signs of going to the darkside. Bennett playing both sides was also great and him taking the bullet was a nice touch. The benefit to alternate histories is that you can do things like killing off characters and have it mean something without feeling the consequences in the plotlines.
  24. The way they are building the showdown, you'd think they were putting Sylar vs. Peter on PPV Peter saving Hiro and Ando was rad, too.
  25. This show is so fucking indulgent in it's influences that it's ridiculous. I'm not a big comics fan, though I was hooked on the Age of Apocalypse, but I loved Dragon Ball Z and the X Men cartoons and this just takes a lot of the stuff I loved and thought was dope about those shows and made it live action, gave it a budget, and put it in prime time. This future episode was SICK. Sylar being Nathan pretty much summed up this show and how they are not afraid to go in deep with the genre.
