Olivia Wilde as a bisexual = win.

This change is what brought me back. Hey, welcome back. TSM is an interesting networking venue. For some reason, it always seems strange to me when people refer to each other by first names.
-
"Oh my God- you're dating me." "..." Amazing.
-
I would buy whatever product that commercial is for. Probably two, actually.
-
Congratulations to the New York Giants. They played an amazing game. Hats off to them.
-
Don't forget Johnny Damon. And Rick Pitino! We're just vicious, unforgiving cocksuckers in Boston. GROWL!
-
I know this is going to sound strange, but um, gee shucks, I dono, how about when they destroy the tapes? Every media outlet was covering the video tape scandal as soon as it broke and for weeks after- what's one Senator going to add? I doubt you're dumb enough about politics to really believe they didn't consider the timing of this letter. Bringing it up the weekend before the Super Bowl is hardly doing it in a bye week considering the media blitz is vomit-inducing. Seriously, your Patriot hate can't make you that naive.
-
I've got to say, the timing here is suspect. If he was really concerned, why wait until now if this is for something other than spectacle? Meh. Thus is politics. I got a chuckle out of Tom Brady being on the injury report not for his boot, but for his right shoulder. It's been troubling him for approximately seven years.

It's so sad that his Presidential race will be how he is remembered... it makes me a sad panda.

Somebody should tell Rajon Rondo that layups are easy.

Settle down, Czechers. If you saw the interview, in context he was laughing about it. Not the OMFG THEY DIZREZPECTED US routine.
-
Am I reading this correctly? Michael Bay is involved in remakes of Nightmare on Elm Street AND Friday the 13th?
-
You're not supposed to reveal sources! He promised he wouldn't tell!
-
Oh, it's bated, not baited. Neat.
-
Rest assured, we wait with baited breath.
-
Well shit. I did not see that coming.

If memory serves, California gives out all their delegates winner-take-all. That will be a major hurdle to overcome to the loser (441 delegates). John Edwards has basically said he's in this race until the end. IF the nomination is competitive until the convention, his delegates will make or break the nominee. So who does he want to be VP for- Clinton, or Obama?
-
That's the point. The contest isn't going to be close. When was the last time we didn't know the candidate going into the convention? I'll give you a hint- it was around the time of the McGovern-Fraser Commission. Clinton has massive leads in Massachusetts, New York, California and New Jersey. In fact, in the five states with the most delegates, Obama has a lead in one- his home state of Illinois. As it stands right now, the contest won't be close, and the Florida delegates may be seated with no great uproar. Edit: These polls aren't great, but there ya go.
-
Clinton's win in Florida isn't meaningless. By the time the convention rolls around it won't matter, but I'd be willing to bet the DNC doesn't fully enforce the penalty and some of, if not all, those Florida delegates will be seated. Also, she handily beat Obama. Even if her delegates aren't seated, that's significant momentum coming into Feb. 5th.

Thank God this show is back. I've missed it terribly.

That shit is terrifying. All I could think of was My New Haircut.

I think the article says it's a better story for football if they lose. I don't really see how that makes any sense, though. It'll be better for everyone outside of New England [including a lot of people on this board], but I don't see how history benefits from a team that went 18-1.
-
I was hoping for a calendar.

CNN.com having it makes it seem pretty real...

Clinton wasn't just nodding off- the dude was passed out. Nothing gets the black vote like falling asleep directly behind MLK's son as he delivers a speech to his church on his day. Great stuff.
