Consider the medium. You're basing this claim on volumes of comics, I'm talking about a movie. Dent's development could not have been done in film as well as it was without the Joker, no matter how good a performance Eckhart turned in. I agree, the story of a fallen hero (Dent) is more interesting, but it needed a catalyst (Joker).

Two-Face is not interesting enough to get his own movie. Watching Harvey Dent devolve because of the Joker A) causing chaos in Gotham, B) killing Rachel and C) cutting him loose on Weurtz, Ramirez and Maroni is what made his arc in TDK so interesting. Likewise, the Joker's grand idea was to take Harvey Dent and make him fall off his pedestal. Joker and Two-Face needed each other to make the plot interesting. Ledger and Eckhart turned in great performances. It worked. Two-Face getting his own movie wouldn't.

Feel free not to. The Angels are looking really good right now. The Yankees are making the right moves to get better and the Rays aren't going away. It's going to be really interesting to see who comes out of the American League this year.

Back again after a long absence, the "Manny Ramirez wants out of Boston" show has returned.

I just got caught up on this show via the Intraweb. It's pretty fun stuff and I'll be glad to see the show back with its full season after the strike. Season 2 was definitely a letdown after the first season, but Villains looks promising. Do I see both Nathan and Nikki in that last trailer?

It's funny- I came home from watching it and couldn't get to sleep so I turned on the TV to see TNT showing the abortion that was Batman and Robin. Kinda funny when you compare the worst with the best an hour after each other.

The Magic Pencil thing was incredibly badass. I had seen the first six minutes online, so this was the first new thing I saw, and I became instantly hooked into the character. I do agree that Dent's makeup was over the top, but that character arc was really well done.
