Plasma, even the newer ones, are still ranked as the highest burn-in risk tvs, however they do say the burn-in risk is severely reduced in the newer models. So it is still taking a chance, because I am sure by "newer" they mean the ones in the $5000.00 + range.

Maybe Vince should flat out get rid of Coach. The man is useless. I do have to say that Lawler has improved a lot now that he is acting like a halfway grown adult. I'd like to see them go with Lawler/Styles for a bit.

The matches should sell themselves. I am not watching the match so I can be told the story of the match. The story of the match is what LEADS UP TO THE MATCH. I don't need to be told DURING THE MATCH what the background story is of the match, hopefully as a fan I would have been watching already to know the story. I want wrestling matches called, not some stupid story to be told.

Saw it last night. Awesome. I loved the slow buildup. More thoughts to come later, but right now my mind is on the Redskins/Bucs.

The problem with it being Haas, is that no one would care, I am not saying Haas coming back is a bad thing in itself, it is just that to use a "suprise" cliff hanger situation to bring back freakin' Charlie Haas will be seen by the fans as another letdown.

I mean I am not saying it's LIKELY it is RVD, but it being his mom would just be lame, if it was Hass that would be another big let down, I mean seriously can you already imagine the LACK of crowd reaction for Haas? I am just thinking of how they might re-introduce RVD...unless RVD goes right for the guy who attacked him before he left.

Redskins go to Tampa: Well the last time they played it was a good game. Joey Galloway had an awesome day, but of course Sean Taylor was injured, and he is usually the guy to eliminate the deep passing game. It is really too early for a prediction because the Skins had a lot of injuries today but I am not sure if most are just day to day stuff or serious. I think the Skins can win this one if they win the turnover battle, and with a HEALTHY secondary, I think they will allow the LBs to terrorize Simms.

What the fuck did Joe Gibbs do this year? The team was 6-10 last season, and now a playoff team, largely in part to Gibbs decision to pull Ramsey in Week 1 after an "injury" and make Brunell the official starter again. Remember the scruity he faced at the time for that decision? Yet as it turns out it was one of the KEY DECISIONS in making the Skins a playoff team again. Things like that are what makes guys like Gibbs great coaches.

If the Skins somehow went DEEP into the playoffs then I wouldn't consider Gibbs out of the running. The team was 6-10 last season and predicted by most to be a last place team this season. If they go one-and-done in the playoffs, then I'd go with Lovie.

So I have a surround sound system, it is hooked into the dvd player via the digital coaxial cable - the single orange-ended cable. So anyways, it is a 6.1 Surround Sound system, but I can't seem to find the setting option that switches it from the default setting of 5.1 to 6.1, so basically the middle rear speaker is just silent. That manual doesn't really help whatsoever for this. Problem two, has to do with static coming out of the speakers when I have it on the PL II setting(basically the best setting for watching movies). What happens is, it will be fine for about 20 mins or so, then you get about 10 seconds of static coming out of the speakers, and it goes away, but shuts off the subwoofer....then magically like a minute or two later it kicks back on, as you can tell the bass is back. The weird thing is, this static problem only happens on the PL II setting, if I am listening to music or even a movie, and have it on 3-Stereo or Stereo, or any other setting NO STATIC, but the PL II setting is what it is supposed to be on for the movie surround sound.... It's not a bad cable because I have already tried two different cables. I am thinking maybe bad compadability since they are different brands. The dvd player is a Toshiba, and the surround sound is an Insignia..... I am just not very sure at this point.

..and for the record the whole "makes you smell like smoke/ashtray" is NOT false. We throw parties at my house, and some of the females that come over, smoke, and since my sweat jackets are hanging up by the front door, they often throw them on when they go outside, and the next day the fucking things smell like smoke to no end......

House of 1000 Corpes and Devils Rejects were both headed for that until cuts were made. I am not saying they won't get an R rating for the theatrical release, but what I am saying is the clip I posted seems pretty graphic for an American R rating, so I am just hoping it isn't cut out.

If I had a girl as good looking as Maria, a cig every once in awhile would be the least of my worries.
