The Roe v Wade issue is a smokescreen. Overturning it would just mean it is up to the states whether they individually want to make it illegal or not, and most states would probably not get enough votes to make it illegal despite what Laura Ingram or Ann Coulter or Rick Sanitorum would have you believe. The fear with Alito is that, when reviewing a lot his higher profile cases, he flat out goes against the rule of law, trying to set some sort of precident when there is none. He was often the "one guy" on a panel of judges voting not according to the law, but by his own ideology. That and his opinion on executive power.

Despite being a rather lefty liberal, I still think Michael Savage can be entertaining in small doses. I actually enjoyed his show during the second term of the Clinton years because he seemed to do a lot more non-political subject matter in his show. He would review Sopranos episodes, talk about the good ol' days in New York, food, what good service in a restaruant really means...etc. Lately when I have been turning his show on on the way to class or home, it is the same drivel about the "Enemy Within" and how Liberals are destorying America because they secretly hate america.

Well when guys like Tim Russert are resorting to that tactic, then it is obvious the media doesn't even want to debate the issues anymore.

Anytime anyone goes on a show and is against the war, all the host does is repeatidly shout "your just michael moore.........michael moore...........alalalalalalal michael moore" It is getting tiresome, and is a very bullshit tactic.

So the latest buzz on the State of the Union is that Bush is going to address rising health insurance costs............. by telling people to think about "personal health savings accounts" Yes people that's right. Don't worry about your employer ripping away heath insurance, because NOW you can save a little cash off each check for a personal health savings account. I mean even though the fact of the matter is one minor surgery could wipeout a LIFETIME of savings, and that 99% of people who go into bankruptcy is due to medical costs, it sounds perfectly plausible to tell people the answer to the health cost crisis is simply to "save up junior" I am really hoping this is a joke, but my sources tell me otherwise. Of course I wouldn't expect Mr. Bush to deliver this great news so bluntly. Look for awesome buzz words.

So I downloaded a movie, and I went to burn it and it says the file is too big. I was hoping it would either let me just burn as much it could fit onto one disc or just offer to let me put it on two discs, but alas this is default software we are talking about here, lol. So anyways, I am looking for a good, fairly easy to use program that will let me trim down the video size. Lets just say it's a porn movie I downloaded, lol. So Basically I just want the video to be the useful scenes, and dump the rest. Anyone have any recommendations?

I'm not sure Gatti deserves a title shot so soon simply for being a "name." The thing is though, people are willing to pay for him to get the title shot because they know what kind of a fight Gatti will make it. That is what is lacking these days. Prize Fighters who lay it all on the line.

I am pretty sure my dvd player can play VCDs.

I know if you have some expensive dvd players, they will play just about anything, but most of my dvd players are just your standard fare. Not cheapies perse, but just not overly expensive. Should I expect them to be able to play .mpg files or .avi files or do I need to convert the file to a certain file type in order to play on standard dvd players?

Watching Gatti, he basically fights the same no matter who is opponent is. I mean he may try to fake it and act like a boxer for a round or two, but he just isn't. Hell he got hit so many times against this Danish guy that if the dude had any power, he probably would have dropped Gatti a few times. Oh and Pacqiuo/Morales was the shizzz.

I am excited to see RVD back. I know he isn't winning the Rumble or coming even remotely close, but I sincerely hope he has a decent to good showing in the rumble. I am also very interested to see what kind of pop he receives and if he is going with the same theme song.

So ECW did things for "shock value" yet when WWE did similar watered down versions, it WASN't for shock value? Come on DX? The entire Attitude era As far as Shane Douglas goes. No one will confuse him as a world class wrestler or anything, but to say he "stinks" in the ring, is just going overboard in trying to bury him.
