DAL@WAS - The weather is looking to be cold, snowy, frosty etc....which should be an advantage for the Skins since their running attack drives their offense. Dallas's offensive line has been struggling to protect Bledsoe, and the Skins are going into this game, finally getting every starter back on the D-line. This game is going to be insane......If Dallas wins they will almost surely end up with at least a Wildcard. If the Skins win and the Giants lose to the Chiefs, then next week the Skins/Giants could be for the division. My burgandy blinders are telling me..... 24-23 REDSKINS~!

Umm, again with the Cradle of Filth blasting. I am sorry, but calling Cradle of Filth's music "heavy metal really fast" is just retarded, as it sounds like something a co-worker would say to describe about 99% of the albums in my cd-book. I am not claiming CoF to be the best or even the upper-tier of black metal, heavy metal, death metal or whatever, but they seem to get undue criticism merely because girls are infatuated with Dani Filth. As if that in itself is reason enough to write them off as a band. True their newer material leaves much to be desired, but their first four albums were fucking great.

A 30 minute drive from Sacramento gets me to a place called Apple Hill, which is about a 20 mile stretch of apple orchards and mills which sells arts, crafts, and everything apple......including Apple Cider made purely of fresh ground up apples. It is 10x darker then any apple juice in the store. Since there are no perservatives in it, it has to be finished approx 5 days after it is opened, but I haven't ever bought a gallon that lasted more then 2 days. Damn I want to go back and buy a few gallons.

I don't agree with the death penalty. I think with the issue of the death penalty you either have to say yay or nay, and not be gray about it. Sure I won't be crying when some are executed, nor will I hold rallies to oppose it, but I don't think the death penalty accomplishes anything it is "supposed" to.

The thing I find most ironic is that you can hardly call Christmas a christian holiday anymore, seeing as the holiday has pretty much adopted many pagan symbols and customs. I mean honestly, I am hard-pressed to find a single person that I know of that will be sitting around discussing the birth of christ or even attending church for a christmas-related service. Not necessairly. I thought in the early days of WCW Thunder, they did a good job of showcasing talent that was underused on Nitro, without having to completely make it it's own brand. Thunder was definately the "B" show, but there was still enough of the top guys on it so that it was not a different brand. The reason the brand extension NEVER worked in WWE, is because both brands are run, booked, and played out the exact same way. If WWE wanted to do a brand extension, then instead of having Stephanie book everything, why not have two completely DIFFERENT creative minds run each show, so that it might come off different. All you get now is a second show, booked the same old way, with different faces.

Yeah but it was stupid for HBK to compare Douglas to DX. They are apples and oranges really. Compare DX to another group or faction trying to be funny. I mean a better gimmick comparison would be Douglas and Triple H since HHH liked to go around calling himself the Franchise there for awhile, but Douglas vs. DX is a dumb comparison to begin with.

In this day and age, the FCC should be more worried about bringing back the Fairness in Media Act(or whatever it was called), that Ronald Regan and his cronies amptly destroyed, basically leaving media to the highest bidder, rather then a fucking tittie, nipple, or cuss word. What we have now is a nation full of 'tards that consider Rush Limbaugh THE NEWS, rather then a commentary guy to be listened to for purely entertainment purposes. You also have mass media conglomerates allowed to own more and more broadcast stations, again limiting the diversity in opinions expressed. Also, as far as the "lefts control of the media goes" That is an entire different debate that we can have in it's own thread, that I would be happy to dispute, but we will leave this thread to the FCC Shenanigans.

I think Stern needs to pay more attention when he reads. I don't remember anything in it about Shane's promos being bad for kids to see. He says Shane couldn't wrestle and got over in ECW just on shock value. Then he says that in DX they also used shock value but didn't stop there. There was a lot of satire in what they said and made fun of the status quo in their promos. "We weren't crude just to be crude." Umm, the HELL that DX wasn't Crude for the sake of being Crude, I mean HELLOOOOO can you say entire fucking WWE ATTITUDE Era? It was basically a lite-version of ECW crudeness, without the "insider" feel and overall satire, not to say every promo in ECW was intelligent and genius. I mean wow, making fun of Sgt Slaughter's Chin.........HOW FUCKING GENIUS!?! I mean don't get me wrong, at the time I laughed, and found it entertaining, but to act all elitist like DX was somehow the PINNACLE of satire and crudeness in the Wrestling business is a fucking joke.
