Shit Lineup, and if Metallica ends up being the special guest...then the lineup gets even worse. Much rather see Slayer for a 3rd Time.

I'm one of those Bruce Campbell fans, so fuck you. Me too, although I don't necessarily think all b-horror is tremendous art. But I mean is it really any worse then $200 Million Dollar CGI shitfests like Titanic getting awarded a Best Picture Oscar?

Not to mention The Brood, Scanners & Dead Ringers.

I will be picking this up at hollywood video next time I go. With a review and comments to follow.

This is how the Skins stay under the cap. Look at the salary numbers. Don't listen to people who say "they are making 5 million a season" Archuleta 2006 585000.00 2007 595000.00 2008 1000000.00 2009 4000000.00 2010 5000000.00 2011 6000000.00 2012 5000000.00 Randel El 2006 585000.00 2007 595000.00 2008 820000.00 2009 4000000.00 2010 4250000.00 2011 4500000.00 2012 5000000.00 Their salaries balloon in 2008, but I am guessing they will either restructure or be gone when that happens. And that folks is how you structure contracts in the Salary Cap Era. Don't hate on the Redskins Front Office.

I hope you aren't referring to Sean Taylor here as being better on the line of scrimmage. He is not Royverrated Williams. The man can cover. You must not have seen a lot of footage of him. The guy covers the span of the field amazingly.

As a Redskins fan, I really do hope TO ends up with the Cowboys. First, I can't wait for Dallas fans to claim "this time it will be different" with a straight face. Second, TO didn't do dick against the Redskins Secondary with the Eagles, and with the Skins secondary being even deeper now with the signing of Archuleta(and assuming Sean Taylor doesn't go to jail) I don't think TO would do dick against the Skins as a Cowboy either. He might be good for a couple Ws, but when the smoke clears he will be the same old TO. Bledsoe is also a downgrade from McNabb, and I can already see TO yelling and jawing with Drew after a pass sails over his head on 3rd down.

Maybe if the Peace Activists had boils on their asses, they would have avoided going over there, kind of like the way Rush got out of going to Vietnam, fucking chickenhawk piece of garbage.

The fact that the media is already underminding the 2006 elections by having "Race for 2008" themed shows is sickening. I mean they are acting as if 2006 isn't important, being that we have a President with a 34% approval rating that could possibly only be holding onto his job because his party is in power. Fuck 2008, get your priorities straight and worry about 2006 for the time being.

Well I know past WM's have been $50.00 because it was 4 hours, I just kind of brought this up because Dish Network has it listed as being $35.00 on their website, and there is only a few weeks to go meaning they don't hav a bunch of time to change the price.
-
Steiner may of very well been underwhelming....but it beats the hell out of Luger.
-
umm yeah this thread is about the price of WM....not discussion about the matches, but hey who the hell am I to complain...HIJACK AWAY...
-
With my buddies over for the ppv today, we were trying to work out how much each would owe for WM, so I looked up Dish Networks ppv page and according to their page. WM 22 is listed as $34.95. Is this an error on their website, or is WWE really only charging that much for the 4 hour show?

UAE-based company pulls out of deal to take over US ports

The public and the media are all caught up in the "security risk" part of this story, but something else people aren't discussing is the fact that our country is in so much debt that it is becoming common place to sell of our land to internation corporations in order to ease debt. Our National Forests and Prisons and many other things that should be not be privately owned, are now being sold to the highest international bidder, because our government at the moment has no concern for the growing debt. -
I work in a relatively upper middle - upper class part of town, and I find it funny because everytime a new Thai or Vietnamese joint opens, the prices are jacked up a lot. Now I attribute some of that due to the rent of the facilities to probably cost a lot more then other places of town, but I also think they take real advantage of the trendy rich kids willing to spend their parents money on "that spicy noodle soup stuff" lol. Is it the same where you guys live? I can literally go to the same place where I LIVE, and get the same dishes for $3-$5 less then if I go to similar places around where I WORK.

I just want to say that I do tip during lunch visits to resteraunts, but my main gripe was the fact that I hate seeing advertised lunch specials for a certain price, but by the time you get out of the place you really are adding 2-3 more dollars to it, making it not so special after all. Also, I dunno how many of you go to resteraunts during lunch, but the server/customer interaction is a lot different then dinner. I mean during lunch you probably see your server at the most 3 times, taking the order, bringing the food, and getting the bill, there is a lot less to fuss with, unlike dinner where the server is usually hitting you up or at least checking on you every 10 mins or so.

I was born in Silver Spring, MD.

Which is why any promo he cuts would probably be done backstage. Why not take advantage of the heat though? I mean for once in a looooooooong while, Triple H would actually come off looking like a real heel, not some wise-cracking smart-ass that half the crowd likes.
-
Geez, I can only imagine what the ECW faithful would be chanting at Triple H as he goes to try and grab the mic to cut a promo.
-
The reason I ask this is because I have been going out to lunch a lot lately, and it is kind of annoying because I am going to all these resteraunts advertising "lunch specials" for various prices, which at first sight makes them appear to be as cheap or almost as cheap as going to McDonalds for a Value Meal. However by the time you add in tax and a tip, it ends up being at least $2.50 more. So take a 4.99 advertised lunch special, and you actually end up paying almost $7.00. This Sucks. I want my Pad-Tai for $5.99 dammit.

Too many people think that just because Katrina isn't headline news anymore, that New Orleans is now back to normal.

Hollywood type folk are constantly trying to put themselves over as "down to earth" types. They may not outright say they are the working class heroes, but they imply and work on coming off like they are regular, middle america types. They may not come out and say exactly what you are talking about, but I think quite a bit of them believe they are closer to middle america and it couldn't be further from the truth. Well maybe I am just not sure what Stein is arguing. I took his rant as arguing the politics of "liberal hollywood" trying to say just because you have a lot of money you aren't supposed to be a liberal minded person or something. If Stein simply wanted to rant on the stupidity of Hollywood and it's characters, then he would get no argument from me, but it seems that this rant was motivated by the show failing to salute the troops, and instead of sticking to that specific theme he went on and on about nonsense.

Hollywood is out of touch on a lot of issues, but that mostly has to do with the same issues that corporate-elite right wing america is out of touch with, and that is your average joe schmo. And I am sorry but being against the Iraq war is not "Out of the mainstream" When was the last time Ben Stein checked Bush's approval ratings....34% and falling. He bashes the actors for wearing suits and gowns that cost more then a soldier's uniform, but where is his outrage at Haliburton for basically raping the military and taxpayers by inflating the costs of everything simply because "they can" not to mention the fact about losing 8 or so billion dollars, or the fact that Contractors there are making 100X what a troop does. Hollywood is what it is, but to target Hollywood as a basis to talk about the Soldiers is pretty lame, considering he pretty much avoided any real concrete issues, but alas that is basically what right-wing media does anyway. He also basically takes the liberty of telling us what hollywood actors all think of themselves. When has an actor ever said he or she felt like they were the working blue class heros of america? Has that legit every come out of one of their mouth's? If so, then of course it is fucking stupid, but who in their right mind thinks that is the general consensus of what actors think of themselves? And excuse the fuck out of me Mr. Stein, but to me the real cowardice is the actors and actresses not speaking out against a war and policy that they are against. They were probably all instructed by Mr. Corporate Media to be on their best behavior. I am still cracking up at him suggesting any of the films were about "worshiping gays" what a Hoot.
