I might be alone here, but I really miss the days when TNT had Sunday Night Football. I really thought that crew brought it's own unique flavor to the table, and was a refreshing break from the predictable ESPN Crew.

The problem with Air America is that they are a democrat-hack station. Here in Sacramento we get SOME of Air America's programming on our local 1240 Talk City station, and it can be merely okay at times, but the hosts fall into the same boring rhetoric of "if you aren't a DEMOCRAT, I don't want to hear it" kind of bullshit, which basically came about after the 2000 election when the #1 goal became to defeat Bush in 2004, even if it meant abandon any grass roots or 3rd party candidates, simply in the name of gravy training onto whichever guy with a (D) went against Bush. Call Air America for what it is, a DEMOCRAT think tank station, NOT a "liberal" radio station by far. See this is what bothers me about this new term being coined called, "progressive democrat" because all that really means is that you are too chicken-shit to just abandon the democratic party once and for all and go third party. As almost every "Progressive Democrat" known in the media, probably didn't vote democrat in 2000, but were duped into doing it in 2004, with an even weaker candidate at the helm. Air America calls itself the alternative, but I don't really hear anything from them that I can't hear from the (D)'s on KGO, and I personally think Bernie Ward & Ray T. are better then anyone on Air America besides maybe Randi Rhodes who actually came to the station with a long history of radio experience in the first place. Also I have an issue with people calling Limbaugh and Michael Savage the same thing. They certainly are not, as Savage throws around the "neo-con" diss as much as any liberal talkshow host does. Savage is a traditional conservative that wants thinks to turn back to the "good ol' days" as where Rush Limbaugh is a tip-toeing Republican Hack that will fall in line with any administration in power that has an ® next to it. Not that I agree with either one perse, but if I had to choose, I'd choose Savage as he doesn't have any problem with regularly calling Bush, awful, and he is even slowly giving in to the "Democin/Republicrat" theory about the 2-part system. Also he is more interesting to listen to when he is not on a political topic.

Seems like to me beyond JR being there, it is the early setup for Triple H, FINALLY hitting the pedigree on Batista at Backlash for the pinfall victory, so I have a feeling he won't be able to hit him with it until then.

Just got back from the A's game. $1 hot dog night, and it sure came in use for my group of seven friends. Limit 10 per order....LOL. A's win 6-2. They finally get some KEY HITS that drive in runs.

The Skins also suck in primetime, so playing Dallas on MNF is kind of scary considering the Skins can outplay the Cowboys in ever statistical category, yet find away to lose the game.

Heck, Harden is a better pitcher than Zito already. He might be better than Mulder as well. So... Zito is Cougar and Harden is Maverick? That is a good way to put it, although I am not sure Harden is Maverick quite yet. Although Hudson did say that Harden as a Triple A pitcher had better stuff then any of the Big Three, but who knows.

anyone notice that during the Dead Meat trailer, towards the end as the title comes back on, you hear "Don't leave me" and it sounds almost IDENTICAL to the chick saying the same line from Cabin Fever?

This reminds me of the guy who hacked the board on Press your Luck, and won like crazy. The Ratings were so high, the networks let the guy keep going on forever, running over into other shows that were supposed to be coming on. There was a special on E! that explained how he did it.

Rather then explain it and get into it just yet, I will wait to see what kind of responses I get. I was tempted to put this in the sports forum, but the ridicule and saracastic responses to follow would surely outdo anything this forum could produce......LOL.

"Clinton said it" doesn't make it any more false. I don't know what to make of the Bill & George stuff, except Clinton is somewhat of a media whore and Bush may be seeking ways to connect with moderate Democrats without looking weak or compromised. Even though I don't like the guy, it's kind of unfortunate for him that he landed in the middle of a firestorm of the GOP's "Us VS Them, fight like it's life or death" brand of politics. Yeah, what about Howard Dean's "Republicans are demons incarnated and I hate them and they need to be deposed and then we're going to Washington, YAAAAH!" brand of politics? It's awesome. It's also the source of the polarization, not anything the GOP instigated. The liberals controlled everything for decades. If they didn't have the executive branch, then they had the ledge and the courts...and the media. Once the GOP gets something of a foothold, then Moore and Dean and others come out of the woodwork and force the GOP to act. And the scream was cool. Zito lost it last year, and I think he has officially decided to stop trying to find it. His second straight poor outing to start the season. And ESPN Fools said The A's were down to the "Big 1" Actually, if anyone is that, I'd say Harden is poised for a breakout year, and the youngin's holding their own most of the time, while we see Zito make or break the future of his career.

I am assuming this thread is covering this first week of baseball. The A's struck back at the Orioles earlier tonight, 9-0. Nick Swisher is looking good and could be a front runner for ROTY. Crosby goes on DL, for how long who knows, hopefully it is short as I am going to a game next week. Also I wonder why Eric Byrnes wasn't playing consider he murders left handed pitching.....
