  1. Well you obviously waste your time watching the show, so I'd figure you would have a fun time "taking him to task" on the issues. Well, excuse me, Rush criticizing Bush for not being right-wing enough, on every single issue. No you are throwing it around to someone who takes an unpopular opinion, and dares to try and look deeper into the "why they hate us" issue.
  2. Physical work may not take "talent" and "work skills" but to say it is a job "anyone can do" is beyond ignorant, as there are a lot of people that could not put that kind of wear and tear on their body for length of time. If field workers decided on some mass walkout, big enough to actually harm the amount of produce in the stores, their boss may think suddenly the job is worth a little more. Sure in time they could all be replaced with similar skilled(or non skilled) workers, but the immediate effects would hurt grocery stores pretty hard. A lot of wage rates have nothing to do with how much a job "is worth" anyway, it has to do with the company wanting to have a happy and enjoyable work staff on hand. I have done about five or six data entry/related-to jobs throughout the past year through temp agencies and the wages have fluxuated depending on the companies, and I can say for certain that the more difficult and "skill-required" jobs out of the bunch weren't necessarily paying the most at all, in fact it was almost the exact opposite, with a few exceptions of course.
  3. Thank you for being the barometer of what is and isn't amusing/funny in today's world. Since you are so hell-bent on convincing everyone Mahr isn't funny and is "useless" or whatever buzzword you would like to throw out, why don't you call his show this week when he is actively trying to get conservative voices for the show. Since you obviously watch the show frequently enough to know that "Mahr is never funny" Claiming Mahr is "unamerican" is about original as trying make the argument that Rush is "fair with Bush" oh wait, you tried that one out for size as well. I mean jesus christ, is this Sept. 12th 2001 all over again? You are throwing around the word "unamerican" on someone who is questioning america's history of foreign policy and it's effect on the global community, as if it shouldn't be up for debate or something!?!
  4. Doubt it. Snyder dumps a ton of money into the Redskins every year and they end up at .500 or worse. This is probably their last actual run before cap hell takes over... Actually that trend ended with the hiring of Joe Gibbs, look at their moves so far this offseason, everyone has been a bargain so far and they have had four players restructure thus far to clear space for the inevitable Coles trade. I say if Philly can go 12-4 or better they have the division locked again, but I wouldn't doubt that there is a possibility the Skins can split with the Eagles next season and maybe shock peole and get 10-11 wins. Of course it is too way to early for anything official to be predicted, so since it is March, take that statement with a grain of salt.
  5. We've already sunken to a depth that will be hard to replicate with Bush/Kerry. I think you'd be surprised how much worse it could be. Oh I don't doubt it for a second......I think Newt is considering running
  6. I still get a kick out of people thinking the Democrat ticket in 2004 was hard left. It was more of a, "I will say anything at the moment, although when presented with a questionthat offers an oppurtunity to show some balls, I will wilt" campaign. Dennis Kunsinich & Al Shaprton were the "hard-left" representatives in 2004, not Kerry or for that matter even Dean. If don't want to take my word for it, go to Kusinich's website and look at his issues and compare them to Kerry. The two big issues in 2004 were the war and the economy, and Kerry took the more moderate approach to both of those issues, yet I guess when Sean Hannity gets on the TV and screams "lefty mcleftist" a few times, people consider that being informed.
  7. Would be nice to somehow actually get the money out of the process, something the McCain/Feingold bill only wishes it could accomplish.
  8. We've already sunken to a depth that will be hard to replicate with Bush/Kerry.
  9. "Screwed: The Bret Hart Story" I thought I already watched this story when it was called, "Wrestling with Shadows"
  10. For China to call out anyone on human rights violations is truly disgusting, however at the same time, it is definately sick and twisted that guys like Rupert Murdoch will go to bat and defend China because he has billion dollar contracts with them. Anything in the name of money I guess. Murdoch has nothing to do with the article mentioned above, but hey it's Friday....
  11. I thought though Ann was implying that Canada sent them as opposed to them volunteering or something. I know this has been broken down in a thread on this board before.....
  12. well then, good thing that webpage is blocked by my job's net filter as ebuams is considered in the category "tasteless"
  13. Typical Ann Coulter, when she can't be on the offensive, she basically shrivels up and hibernates and refuses to discuss the topic at hand.
  14. Maybe it was, I can't really remember, I think this was when I was about 13 or 14.
  15. I'd be interested to see the guy who won two million matched up against the previous record holder, that Sheriff guy with the thick mustache, he pretty much whooped everyone's ass easily, but this was back when you could only come back I think three times.
  16. Question: Do computer stores and/or places like Frys, let you buy the pieces and then build them for you? I mean I know basically the pieces I would need to build a computer, but I wouldn't want to buy like a wrong SCSI cable or something like that and have it affect system performance and never know what is going on. I am thinking of a service of where, you kind of tell the clerk what you are looking for, and then he kind of goes up and down the aisles with you, making sure you get the best connectors(and correct) for the job, and then once you have all the pieces, they build it for you? Does any place do something like this?

    Boxing

Not sure, but for a pretty good and active boxing msgboard: www.maxboxing.com I post there
  18. Apparently Antonio Pierce is giving the Skins till tomorrow to match the contract the Giants are offering. I doubt the Redskins will, considering they resigned Lemar Marshall(who filled in great for Arrington) Clifton Smith(Greg Williams thinks he is gonna be a star) and still have Michael Barrow on the roster.
  19. Dammit I spoke too soon. The site only offers mini posters for a lot of older horror movies
  20. ..And ----------->All Posters has all of them you could ever want.......well sort of...
  21. ...and that right there would be my main issue with the public display of them in front of a courthouse. They are not all laws. It is almost asking to be questioned about being biased in hearing cases in where the suspect broke a "commandment" but not a law, where would the judges religious precidence leave his overall feeling. Not to say most judges even think like that, but it would still raise questions and open up so many cans of worms.
  22. Well one thing we aren't giving them is a minimum wage and/or rights to unionize...... I wonder if some corporations had any influence on that decision for Iraqs new "Democracy"
  23. On one hand I don't really care and don't see a point in wasting any energy on this debate. On the other hand, I guess the people against this monument are thinking that since the ten commandments are not official laws, they don't belong on the court or public property. I mean would it be acceptable for a judge to display a passage from the satanic bible? Would people walk by it every day and not care? Probably not, and I would imagine there would be an uproar. No matter how much some want to argue about how we come from judeo-christian values or what-not, the ten commandments are not OFFICIAL LAW, so IMO if you allow a monument or statues of them on public property and/or courthouses, then you are opening the door for even more statues and monuments for other various groups to bitch at. If I want to look at a statue of the ten commandments, I will go to church, if I want to see the bill of rights and the constitution in action, I will attend a trial or go to a courthouse. There is STILL a difference.
  24. Rwanda isn't nearly the film this one is. Not even close. Eh, sorry I disagree. This film was very good, great even, but I don't think it was the Best film, heck I probably liked Sideways and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind better. It was top 5, but not the best, not at all.
