I guess I was kind of uncomfortable watching The Crying Game & Blue Velvet as well.

I cared more when I was younger, but now I have a big collection of horror dvds. Plus I usually attend the horror movie/halloween festivals in town. I do tend to notice that local stations are quite skimpy on scary movies around halloween time as compared to when I was younger.

Sometime in November they are releasing a Garfield DVD featuring all of the Garfield seasonal specials......WHOO~!

well I ran spybot, and it seemingly got rid of it, but then when I restarted my computer it did the same damn thing over again. I have seen the list in the pinned thread before, but the problem is I am not exactly sure the problem I have. Can someone point me to the best utitlity for my problem, which is everytime I start my computer, some stupid IE plugin wants to load which directs me to and auto opens some stupid porn site. Spy Bot detected it, and said "problem" solved, but when I startup my computer it does the same thing all over again.

It isn't exactly Old School, but how about the RVD/Orton match a year or so ago. Up to this point Orton had looked like complete trash, and then RVD who is NEVER KNOWN for being the ring general, carries Orton to a pretty entertaining match where Orton was almost unconcious five minutes into it. Orton was inspired to come online the next day and write a sort of "thank you" to RVD for being professional about it, and working the match the best way possible for both of them in the given circumstance.

first off I am running WIN ME on the computer I am having trouble with. So anyways, I was cruising the web, and I was going to random websites for the first time in a long time, when I get a popup for drunk spring sluts.....lol. The temptation pulls me in, I click on it, computer starts going haywire, and tries to start download something, so of course I put an end to all of that. Problem is, everytime I start my computer, once windows launches, some stupid download for a plugin tries to launch(and I am 100% sure it was related to whatever stupid website I opened beforehand). It is not hard to cut it off before it completes, and quite frankly, once I stop it from completing, the problem is over, and everything else works fine, but this is highly annoying, and I know little NUISANCES like this, start off as managable, but if you don't remove them from the computer soon, they always become more troublesome with time. Plus if someone else uses the computer and they don't know to cut it off, I don't want them to get a pornoriffic suprise, hahaha(well they would have to know my login password). So does this sound common enough for someone to give me instructions on what to do?

NoCal, if the terrorists were on our own soil, we wouldn't HAVE to invade another country. Sadly, that isn't the case, hence the difference. oh ok, so THAT is why we invaded...........IRAQ!?! Because Saddam didn't financially support terrorists, didn't have training camps in his country, didn't call for American interests to be attacked, didn't try to assassinate a former President... Whatever happened to the left giving two shits about human rights? -=Mike I dunno there is about 1100 human's rights that no longer exist because of this mess in Iraq, not to mention the innocent civilian lives that are written off and not reported by the news. Yeah, because pulling numbers out of your ass is really the way to win the argument. Are you trying to say that Saddam was better on Human Rights than we are? Is that your honest opinion there? Of course not, but I hope you aren't being silly enough to suggest our government gives two shits about human rights abroad. I think we care about it more than many, many other countries in the world today. Far more than many of your buddies in Europe, at least. And again, where the hell is this figure coming from? Did you seriously just pull it out of your ass or what, because I honestly can't believe we are denying 1100 different human rights (Hell, are there that many specific ones, or are you getting to stupid ones like 'Denying people the right to play NBA 2K5' or something?). MY european buddies? and the 1100 I was talking about was the soldiers that have died in the name of this mess, whose human rights have been destroyed, and the rest, whatever number I used was Iraqi civilians that are dying, innocently. I understand we aren't the WORST offenders of human rights atrocities, far from it indeed of course. However I can tell you that the american contractor situation is a good example of how we are pissing off iraqi civilians.

Yes, surely the Iraqi citizens were all prepped and prepared and briefed. Hey guys, we are gonna start bombing your country, in hopes that TERRORISTS CROSS OVER THE BORDER SO WE CAN FIGHT THEM IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOODS....... Are you fucking kidding me?

Come on Mike. Reguardless of opinions on the War. It doesn't take a blind man to see that Iraq has know become the center point on the War on Terror. Well yes I know, but is that supposed to be some sort of excuse for how Bush went about this like you are saying, "well eventually the terrorists would find their way to where our troops were at"
-
Yes, and america gave chemical weapons to Saddam.

Pat Robertson: "I warned Bush on Iraq"
NoCalMike replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
The "obsession" over Abu Gharib? LOL. Yes because continually showing a picture of someone with panties on his head, when much worse things were happening there, is certainly obsessing over it. You may be correct in saying there was obsession, but the obsession was misplaced and focus and much of the more tame things going on there. Mis-Reporting on the Iraq situation? Oh you must mean the coverage of Bush making speeches about how things are going great. Voter Suppression of 2000 is clearly not a lie, just your unwillingness to accept what is in front of your face. Swift Boats being tied to Bush was never what was said, they said their cause was funded by republicans, which was absolutely true.
