I recently was looking through blank tapes to see what I could tape over and I found a WWF tape of Superstars from when Owen/Yoko were the champs, taking on The Smoking Guns. The rest of the tape was filled with a bunch of UT stuff from back then I believe leading up to the UT vs. UT match. I also found a tape of a bunch of Nitros and Thunders, I made a compilation of all the Raven/Saturn vs. Benoit/Malenko vs. (I forgot the 3rd team involved in this). As bad as some of that old WWF WRESTLING was, it was at least refreshing when compentant stories of fantasy could be written.

Just to let you all see it....... The biggest crowds come to either the halloween shows or when there is a Friday the 13th double feature(held on actual Friday the 13ths...duh) Don't ya wish you could go...huh..do ya?

My gawd this is awesome, it comes in a PUZZLEBOX instead of the traditional box........dammit they better release something like this here(even though I have the original uncut in the limited tin, which also came with the 2nd one......but hey the 3rd one was decent enough). Hellraiser box set There is also an ad for the Halloween boxset, although I don't think I would want that, since I only REALLY would be interested in the first 3. The 4th and 5th, I could tolerate owning as part of a set, and maybe the Curse if it was ever properly released with all the original footage which makes it almost a different movie. I don't blame Teeny Bopper music, or Lou Perlman or Justin Timberlake etc.....Teeny bopper music will ALWAYS APPEAL to young kids who don't know any better. I mean that it is who that is directed towards, the same way right now mainstream angry rock music is marketed towards teenage males who don't know any better. Can you blame a 12 year old girl for not knowing that NSync music is trash? Or a 16 year old guy that can't get laid, that Korn or Limp Bizkit is some of the worst assaults on the "rock genre" in 10 years? The real travesty of the music industry IMO, is how today's music is really all based on THE SINGLE. If you can get a team together, make a catchy song, then get the right piece of ass to lip synch it. It makes millions for everyone. I mean I am 24 years old, and I think MY PEERS should know better then to turn on FM radio and just totally buy into WHATEVER is fed to them. However you won't catch me blaming kids and teenagers, who in all fairness shouldn't know better.

Unfortunately, they made the switch and have failed in every season since. Like I pondered in the ALCS thread, could there be a curse on the Yankees for altering the great "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" tradition? we could only hope so. Favre is working behind a tremendous O-line, at least they have been so far this year, but you witness it like we all do that everytime a seam in that line breaks, and Favre gets pressured, he will force bad throws into double coverage. The Cowboys dropped a couple sure INTs today, that wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game, but would have kept it a couple of scores closer. That is the give and take with a Brett Favre because he is a gun slinger at heart. He always wants to make that play. The key is pressure. We will see if my 'Skins can even get any one him this week. Arrington and Daniels are both coming back from injurues to strengthen an already good defense.

The thing about the NFL is, if your defense is in the lower third, hell even lower half, then you should never be suprised when they lose a random game here and there. Despite the Skins going through the Spurrier woes last year, they lost a handful of games, when they HAD THE LEAD IN THE 4th quarter. The Miami, and Carolina games immediately come to mind. This year though, they have the #2 defense so far and have been in every single game(I know they haven't exactly played the class teams of the league yet). When you have a good defense, you can expect to be in close tight games all year long, with hopefully the offense being inept enough to get it done, however when your defense is HORRIBLE, you should NEVER expect to win all the time.

I could see a reason to do it for awhile, but can it already.

Well if Cleveland could have won, it would have made it a perfect bye week for the Skins. Giants and Cowboys lose, which is still a good thing.

Sacramento: FM: KDVS 90.3 (in Davis) which is a Free Speech/Music station, they basically play every type of music you WON'T hear played on clearchannel stations. Anything from Black Metal to Rag Time, to Peking Opera to Blues.......It is divided into blocks, usually 2-3 hrs at a time of that peticular music. AM: 650 - Conservative talk: Hannity, Armstrong & Getty, Savage 1240: Liberal leaning. It is a mix of Air America shows and some local filler shows. 810 KGO (San Francisco) - Liberal leaning for the most part, but there is some middle of the road guys on the station as well such as Pete Wilson.(No not the former CA govenor). 1140: Sacramento Sports radio, flagship station of the Kings. This station pretty much SUCKS, except for Jim Rome, and The Kings games. They never tap into to the big national games going on at the time. Sacramento used to have another sports station which took care of all that, so instead I tune into...... 1150/680 - I am not sure if 1150 is the OFFICIAL sister station to 680, but they must be owned by the same company because 680 is the more local station to the bay area, where as 1150 takes care of national games, and they mention it on 680 broadcasts. Oh and I might turn it on NPR for 5 seconds until I get bored.
