Considering between Bush/Cheney/Rumsfield, and their differing daily opinion on whether Iraq had WMDs and was a threat or not. One says one thing, then another says the opposite, only to correct themselves the next day, only to have the next of the bunch say the exact opposite all over again the following week.

Well I hope for Edwards' sake Cheny brings those "facts" to the debate.

And a retrospective of the 2004 RNC

Oh come on, have some fun. It is just some spliced audio. Nah. Watching "Fahrenhype 9/11", which is likely infinitely more enlightening and entertaining. -=Mike pfft....I take that beer back. Because watching the facts that Moore ignores is bad. -=Mike Yes, for the straight facts, I go to Dick Morris........ (is Farenhype the Dick Morris movie)? -
-=Mike *FLIP-FLOP*

Yes, because a mess in Iraq, executed on false pretenses & miscalculations, and specially selected items of information is going to make the debate relatively simple for Cheney....

*yawn* And the usual level of your contributions has been met... -=Mike Well coming from you and your "bah gawd, what if this is true" story posting........ Whoa, whoa --- don't over-exert yourself with the content. -=Mike well it's not exactly asif you have brought any productive content to this thread unless you consider, "CHENEY RULZ, EDWARDS DROOZLS" fluff-esque banter, content!?!

Well, as long as the GOP is in charge of the Congress and the White House, there isn't a chance of one. If the Dems get power, then yes, all bets are off. -=Mike Thanks for summing it all up. The Dems are the ones proposing the bills. Not the Republicans. Bush has EXPRESSLY stated an all-volunteer army is his policy. Kerry has not. -=Mike Yes I know. I tend to think a draft sometime in the near future has a slight possibility of happening, but I refuse to think it will be a bi-partisan effort. Just something that the ludicrous national policy will naturally lead to in it's current fashion.

it isn't even that, that irks me. I mean this is a nation of free press, and I suppose we shouldn't be deprived of hearing any point of view, however I have seen many times in the past other people post similar "this MIGHT be true" stories from "questionable" sources, and then Mike goes on to rip them a new asshole for it. You mean like YOU are doing right now? -=Mike Actually I am doing nothing of the sort. I never said anything at all negative about the article you posted. I am just pointing out that when other people do the same thing, you are the first one in line to claim the source is whack, or that the article is unmitigated bullshit.

you guys are still watching Raw?

sure it was a problem, if it was no-bid. Who said Democrats weren't looking out for corporate interests as well? What don't you understand about the "NO BID" part of the no bid contract. Or the fact that Haliburton basically turned right around and gouged prices, overcharging for just about everything.

If you use drugs, you're with the terrorists
NoCalMike replied to Rob E Dangerously's topic in Current Events
dunno how this thread got resurrected, but re-reading the original editorial pasted in the thread, I got a good laugh out of........ "if you take drugs, you stand against freedom" Is that some irony or what? -
well you can thank the wonderful planning for postwar Iraq via George W Bush. Looks like he had it all figured out about the amount of troops this would require, and when more informed, more experienced, and better suited folks suggested otherwise, they were "retired" Blaming Bush entirely for where we are betrays a lack of basic knowledge about the military and the government in general. There's more to it than simply Bush's whim. He didn't single-handedly plan out the war or the plans afterwards himself. He approved those plans, yes, but that doesn't make him solely responsible. It's time to give Iraq its own government and get the hell out of there. well with an opinion like that, you certainly wouldn't be voting for Bush.

what dumb redneck.

No. It's safe to say that society has continued the decline it's almost always been in. or smartening up to the fabrications via a book of fabels.

I didn't know that the no-bid contracts were conspiracy theories? Or the fact that Cheney stills receives a hefty annual check from them either? Or the fact that have pretty much locked out Iraqi's from being a part of the rebuilding process.
