  1. Hey, I never said Mckenzie doesn't have the potential to be as good as Ty Law by the end or later stages of his career, but at this point, don't even bother trying. When you are a cornerback stats don't always matter, because I would take a corner with less INTs/tackles, over one that gets thrown on 100 times and maybe comes up with 4-5 INTs during the season, but also gives up a lot of yardage and plays.
  2. I think Deion Sanders is easily a Top 10 athlete of all-time. He was arguably the best CB in NFL history, one of the most demanding positions in any sport. He had sprinters speed, and had a solid MLB career. Here is my beef with calling Deion the best CB ever. I think in his PRIME he definately has to be considered, but when he lost a stop later in his career, he declined FAST. He went from his prime to garbage in a matter of two years. As opposed to someone like Darrell Green or Aneas Williams who even though they lost a step, stayed good at their positions every year.
  3. After American Psycho, Sussido will forever be engrained into my head.
  4. The biggest twist of all really, would be if the Village was a straight foward movie. LOL.
  5. If Deion is considered, then I really think Darrell Green should get a look or two. Darrell Green was basically the Deion Sanders of football before Deion came around. Darrell just didn't have a big mouth or a ME attitude to go with it. Also, he was ALMOST lured away from football in the 80's to run in the olympics. Yes, he was that fast in his prime.
  6. well that is no different then the "republican only in name" label that some republicans are tagged with because they don't agree straight down the party line. It is politics, dirty messy, disgusting, politics, but what it ISN'T is exclusive to one side of the political spectrum.
  7. it is kind of useless to take sides on these kind of things. I mean in reality it is two washed up wrestlers that are shells of their former selves, and shouldn't be in a wrestling ring anymore. So instead of taking sides about who is more bitter, just enjoy the fact that they are willing to come online and expose the shit out of each other's downfalls........
  8. This sucks since ECW(and other smaller promotions) tapes will most likely not be available from WWE, sanz the bits the pieces WWE decides to release.
  9. Mike, I have to say i'm happy to read you believe that. I agree with you, I work with more than a few great politicians that are pro-choice on a daily basis, but I think too many liberals have breathed deep the MoveOn ABB swamp gas and it has blown more than a few of their rationally thinking brain cells. I am one of the more lefty personalities on this board, and I had never been until Moveon.whatever until I kept hearing it brought up on this board so much, and since then that was the only time I went.
  10. Honky is funny sometimes. His internet feud with Lawler was PRICELESS.
  11. So is that last paragraph just totally made up? I mean come on this would be all over the news.
  12. LO F'N L.........
  13. Being an A's fan has allowed me not to have to put as much energy into baseball during april/may/june and concentrate on the NBA playoffs, as for at least this era of the Athletics, their bad starts are never a good indication of how they will finish.
  14. (ok now I am home~!) I don't think Pro-lifers are extremists. I just happen to disagree with their point of view. There is a difference (a huge one) besides a pro-lifer and someone who would bomb an abortion clinic, just like there is a difference between someone being anti-Iraq war and someone who would write that assanine article about Pat Tillman provided by that link above.(on the 1st page)
  15. Says Tyler "Dean isn't that extreme" McClelland. Gay marriage proponents are EXTREMISTS. DEAL WITH IT. -=Mike Extremism is becoming overused though in many ways. While the authors opinions' in the Tillman article will never be accepted by a rational human being, is it really that hard to imagine that one day in this country gays will be able to get married, is it THAT radical of an idea? That is why I kind of take issue to someone saying that feeling gays should be allowed to get married is considered extremism...
  16. the biggest problem with M. Night's films now, is that everyone knows each film is leading to a big twist, and everyone just goes to theater to try and guess the twist.....sometimes OUTLOUD, DAMMIT. I actually think the trailer looks good, but if my guess about the ending is right, I wish I would have never seen and just had it recommened to me by someone else.....
  17. I can honestly say if I had to sit and read the actual editorial that, the link is referring to, I would get physically ill. And, I consider myself one of the more liberal/anti-war folks on this board.
  18. Brown IS an elite starter. Except for 2002, he hasn't posted an ERA above 3 since 1995. His adjusted ERA+ is 131, 7th among active pitchers. If I had my choice though, especially as a Yankees GM.. Pettite > Brown
  19. Kevin Brown has been solid, but not elite by any means. Of course his move to the AL benefits him the first year over the batters.
  20. Zito has sucked so far this year every outing, with his last one being the absolute worst. I doubt he wins tomorrow, and the A's losing streak will continue Damn Yankees......
  21. the RVD/Eddy matches were entertaining and good enough to where I don't really care what the storyline is, on a PPV, it would be nice to see it.
  22. this gift package looks like a winner. This would be something GREAT for the holidays too, I mean my Dad really enjoyed those flicks as a child, and I enjoy them as well.
  23. Anyone seen the trailer for this yet? The Village I have, and since his movies ALWAYS have a twist, I kind of have an idea of what this one might be, but I will use spoiler tags...... I have a feeling that there really are no monsters in the woods, and that this movie actually takes place in present time. This is probably an amish community and the elders are in on the "monster" thing. It is a way to keep everyone in the village and to prevent them from moving through the woods to see present day modern society and wanting to leave "the village" Thoughts?

The most horrible thing about the yearbooks at my highschool(and probably most around the country) is that if you weren't a conformist or part of "the gang" you were most likely only featured on one page which was your potrait. When I was a freshman I participated in some afterschool project for the yearbook called "true colors" which got me in on a good THREE pages.......LOL.
