A's win 8-4, and win the series against Minnesota 2-1. The A's bats woke up against Minnesota, a really good series for the A's offense. The starting pitching still looks rusty, but better then before.

Manny was a beast in the first round, but watch rounds 2-12, and you can see that Marquez is clearly the better boxer. Marquez recovered from a nightmare of a 1st round, and really outclassed Manny the rest of the way, besides round 11. Manny was reduced to trying to just throw the left hand every single time, and it didn't work. I don't really disagree with a draw, as it will set up a WILD REMATCH.

Spurs shot very poorly tonight. All the Spurs really need to do is win one in LA, but at least this game gives hope to Sacramento/Minnesota, cause it shows that the Spurs can be vunerable to the pick and roll, as long as the team is also shooting well.

Hate to tell you, but Clinton never had a large majority of voters on his side (there is a reason he never won a popular vote majority). The myth of Clinton popularity is up there with the myth of JFK's popularity. -=Mike ...No, JFK was hardly "universally liked" either "the myth of the Clinton popularity"

But, I suppose, you manage to conquer the laziness, right? -=mike Sure. Not being lazy, doesn't mean you are necessarily CORRECT all the time about everything, but there is definately a difference between, checking numerous sources, listening to different opinions as opposed to, "Hey, Sean Hannity said the left hates america, so he must be right"

Hannity is hilarious on Fox News.......if the guest is anyone to the left of the righest of the right wing, his line of questioning/shouting will go something like this...... Hannity - "Mr. Adams, why do you hate america? Mr. Adams - "I don't hate america" Hannity - "yes you do" Mr. Adams - "well I certainly have never said that, ever" Hannity - "typical leftist extremist, not answering my question" Mr. Adams - "what question?" Hannity - "are you glad there are no more mass graves?" Mr. Adams - "what exactly are we talking about here?" Hannity - "Something I don't get about the left, is why they just won't come out and admit their hatred for america, and the american soldiers" Mr Adams - "I, uhm, I......" Hannity - "hold that thought, we have to go to a commercial break" Colmes - *rolling his eyes* "Alright next up on Fox News, <insert lame-o country music star here> sings her brand new hit, "God Bless George W. Bush and the Republican Party, yeeeeeeehaw"

well this goes to show that you should never underestimate the stupidity of the general population. People don't REALLY want the truth a lot of the time, if it means doing more then turning on their favorite news network, whether it be Fox, CNN, MSNBC, CNBC......etc.....This isn't really so much an issue over FOX NEWS, but more an issue about people's laziness when it comes to international relations/issues.

I don't really buy the Dole-Kerry comparison because when Dole ran, yes the republican party hated Clinton, but the majority of americans didn't and Clinton's job approval was still very high, as opposed to now, with Bush being about 50/50 with the american people, and his job approval on just about everything, plunging to all new lows for his tenure. It isn't just which politicians like the candidate. Clinton had the majority of america on his side, Bush doesn't(not right now at least).

I actually enjoyed these shows a lot back when they originally aired. Of course, I was ages 7-12 when most of them happened. So watching them now, would probably not be much fun. Except the Royal Rumble matches. Those are usually good no matter what.

The only thing I like better about the A's collesium today more then ten years ago, is the green seats. Seriously, Al Davis fucked everything up when he brought the Raiders back. I would love to see the A's with a brand new stadium right in the middle of downtown..........SACRAMENTO~!

what I hate is the fact that everytime I start a new job, I always feel confident the first day, but like a week or two into it, I start feeling like I can't do the job well enough, so I pretty much give up on it, and just kind of go comotose, and just go through the motions of getting the day over. I think this is because I haven't truly found a job I really LOVE to go to everyday yet. Hopefully when my schooling is completed, this will change.

well after day 1, I'd say I have mixed feelings. The work itself is easy, I mean typing data into a computer. We are allowed to have radios which is good, we take our breaks at our own leisure, which is good. The only thing I am afraid of is the style of the data entry is like the worst style for my typing skills. I am fastest at straight typing, like typing out long pieces of data. This is more the alphanumeric, tab, tab, enter, shift-tab, press x, type a number here; kind of bullshit. I am pretty sure I can do enough to keep the job, but who knows. I am buying a radio with a headphone jack this weekend so I can bring it in. Oh and hey, I get my own cublicle....LOL.

I have no reason to think Troy will be any good. Enough with these old euro epics. I mean how many more "2 sides of massive foot soldiers, charging at each other" do we need. It is played out already. I just don't find the story of TROY to all that interesting. Van Helsing, well I love monster movies, but this looks more like a CGI bucket of grease. Who knows it MIGHT be decent.

Ok, not STEROIDS, but just all the growth hormones and shit. Does anyone buy this theory? I mean girls are getting big breasts at younger ages. Now I know in everyone's school there was always that ONE CHICK who got boobs at 10 or 11, but now it seems much more common. The only argument I see to this theory is that, it doesn't seeme to be effecting the male body so much as far as hitting puberty sooner.

Didn't he have serious neck and back problems back in the ECW days? If so, that's the answer why WWE never pushed him above garbage brawling "matches" and Sunday Night Heat duty. Oh I know. I am not really mad that WWE didn't push him. He was broken down by the time he got to WWE anyway. I am just saying, it is nice to have a person like that as a part of the company, so hopefully WWE keeps him aboard.

It's definately suspicious how much it rises and lowers over such a short time. I mean it would be different if it worked like most products, where every new year, you expect a standard increase and it will be like that for the entire year, but this day-to-day crap is crazy.

What a waste of a good person. He would definately be an asset to whatever company he works for. He was never the greatest worker, but his dedication to entertain the fans was almost unmatched.
