Trash Film Orgy This is the one I go to a bunch. It is usually four times a year, and this summer starting in June, it will be running for 6 weeks straight(weekends). It is usually, but not exclusive to, independent & international horror flicks. I went to a couple last year, the halloween edition they showed NOTLD and Zombi 3(Zombie), and then the BIGGEST CROWD I have ever seen at one was for the Friday the 13th double feature one, where they showed parts 1 & 2. They usually give you a discount on tickets if you come in some form of costume too~!

For some reason, the baseball all-star game still has the "Real game" feeling to me. Even though I know the outcome doesn't matter. Definately the best is baseball. The worst is the probowl.

Also, yeah the Lakers did look like gold when the season began, but remember all those old bodies had to endure the regular season and now quite possibly could be tired and worn. Not to mention Payton all but DETESTS his role on the Lakers, but has sworn to comply in the name of getting a ring, but still if the truth is inside his head, it will affect his play on the court. Spurs in 6.

I think the one thing the Kings have to look forward from here on out, is that they won't have to worry about guys like Divac & Webber not being able to run the floor CONSTANTLY to maintain transition defense against the Mavs sprinters. Now yes occassionally they will have to get their asses in gear and run, but NOTHING like how it was with the Mavs. We should see guys like Webber/Divac/Miller play a much bigger role on the inside. This is a series where hopefully Divac can join the postseason roster, since he has been all but invisible since the playoffs started(although for good reasons/coaching decisions). My brain says T-Wolves in 7, but my Kings bias says, Kings in 7. Kings in 7 baby~!

That reminds me of a temp agency I had a bad experience with. When I signed up I specifically said No Warehouse, so they call me up with a job with Alhambra, so I get there and the job is loading and unloading the Alhambra trucks. The first 2 hours you are flat out lifting water jugs and arranging them according to the cap color. Needless to say, I took my permanent lunch break that day.

When you have two series that could help to determine the division, you can't afford to no-show those games. No one said to No-show a game, but that doesn't address the fact that a lot of teams are at .500 or just above .500 going into the all star break and go on to win their divisions. Hell the A's have done that past few years. Not like they didn't play AL West opponents in April.

The Kings definately need to play better in the next round. The Kings/Mav series almost says nothing either way, because the Kings really didn't play well except for maybe game 1, and part of game 5, so you COULD say that they won a playoff series playing half-assed, but on the other hand, the Mavs also didn't seem to be on top of their game either. Lets hope the Nuggets and T-wolves beat the shit out of each other for awhile. Oh and the Nets/Pistons will be the shit. Wow, the eastern conference is back. It has been awhile since I was excited for an eastern conference playoff series.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Personally, I think it's fucking brilliant. Leave the company, bash the shit out of them. Then when they want to do exactly what you criticized, they ask for your assistance in doing so. You come in, get publicity for what you're selling, get a paycheck, and then leave. Rinse and repeat, play the company like a fiddle. except it is Foley getting played like a fiddle. I mean yes, both parties involved get something out of the deal, but honestly, I wish Foley would just STFU with his rants on WWE if he isn't going to stand up for what he believes in and just not support WWE.

well it probably depends on the festival, but the ones I have been two, either just show the movies one after another, with intermissions, or they will have workshops and movies going at the same time all day long, and you are free to roam to whichever thing you want to go to. Last Indepedent film festival I went to, they had some people from the Lucas industrial light and magic company come down and talk about CGI, showed clips of how they did stuff. Pretty cool stuff.

OUR.....Kings...... They could definately use the rest though. By some miracle, I hope the Denver/Minnesota series goes to 7 games.

The fact of the matter is, Foley took shots at WWE a lot when he left, even talked about how he didn't want to be a part of this company with the way it was going, then all of the sudden he has something he needs to promote, so he whores himself out to put over the new company bitch boy. So I am assuming in the next 6 months, we will hear some interview where Foley rips WWE/Vince/bookers......followed by his return to put over the next guy, so he can get a plug for something.

I hope neither comes back.......ever.

Games in April do count. However, a lot of teams start slow and pick up fire. Especially pitcher-heavy teams, because a lot of the time pitchers aren't throwing their best stuff until approx 3-4months into the season, and then they become just unhittable. The Oakland A's are a prime example. Every year they start out and it looks like the Big 3 have lost something, however once June hits, magically they become the Big 3 again.

Well Zito's curveball looked sharp as hell against Bernie Williams. Maybe Jeter was just bound to get out of his slump, but I know for a fact that Zito's curveball looked sharper then it has all year against Bernie Williams. Come on Zito.....

I have been to the Sacramento Film Festival. The Trash Film Orgy. Spike & Mike's sick & twisted animation festival.......and some others.

See, I heard about that ending, and if THAT is how it is executed, I will be pissed. I think the overall movie could be great, and the twist in that script would actually be good, but if that is the exact ending that happens right before the "fade to black" then the theater will indeed riot. There is also resistence to that script with a lot of people claiming it is a fake. So who knows.
